found a gorgeous out of the way place in Sanur - The Garden Villa - very Bali style and staff just lovely, reasonably priced accommodation and yummy meals and a gorgeous swimming pool and garden. You can even cook if you want to with kitchen, dine, lounge on verandah overlooking garden in my case or pool, if you want. Just brilliant for a chill week and only a short Grab ride to the main hub of Sanur - beach and shopping/ dining. Loved it.

Occasionally WiFi went slow but at the start and the end it was excellent. Limiter for sound on TV too low. It made sound difficult as I am a bit deaf and found it too soft even with my hearing aids.

I liked the environment and staff there. A pretty decent place to enjoy your solo time. The rooms remind you of the old kings of Asia. The bedsheet was a little torn, but you can ignore them. The swimming pool is the best thing here. The cottage will give you a grand feel. They give you free bicycles to roam around. Value for money. I would love to stay here again and again.

The location is a little difficult to find on the first day. But after you check in, you find it quite convenient.

I loved every minute staying at the Garden Villa, the mature vegetation in the garden & pool area was something else & attracted plenty of wildlife, ie squirrels, bats, birds, butterflies & frogs & the pool was exceptional, the staff were all very polite & friendly & even obliged getting me an adapter so I could charge my phone when I arrived. The place is a real hidden gem 💎 & is within walking 🚶 distance from the beach 🏖️ & shopping 🛍️ areas 🤩

Beautiful gardens with flowering orchids everywhere, well maintained, long lengthed pool directly in front of our villa just as we had hoped. Helpful and happy staff, great air conditioning and a rustic, open air bathroom with plenty of hot water from a great rain style showerhead. Loved the wooden, carved Joglo style villa building - very traditional. We arrived at the Garden Villas with an open mind and were satisfied with the facilities for the very reasonable price.

Stairs down to outdoor bathroom and outdoor kitchen were a little treacherous, especially when wet - caution advised during the night. We never had a problem but would advise care if staying in a Joglo Suite. Not much natural light into Orchid 6 villa. Doors and wooden window shutters could be opened to let light in but not if aircon was in use. Neighbouring villa had a glass window so not all Joglo villas were this way. Simple kitchen facility so keep expectations to a minimum.

Lovely garden setting with lush tropical plants - a very cool, soothing and relaxing atmosphere, helped by the gentle sound of trickling water from the fishpond full of Koi Carp in the reception/dining area. Quiet location in a residential area, yet close to tourist amenities. Good sized pool. Great staff - very accommodating, and always did their best for the guests. A good selection of simple, but tasty, home-cooked food, fresh fruit juices and other refreshments available throughout the day.

The accommodation could do with a bit of sprucing up; some of the furniture and decor was a bit shabby in places.

great pool , & the room was comfortable, I didn't eat there as I was out a lot. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Location was tucked away from the busier areas & was only a short 15 - 30 minutes walk to the beach.

The pressure in the shower was very low. Rarely had hot water, which was ok as it is warm over there.

I heard bad scream in the evening on our last day and there was a drowning baby bird in the pool, flew from the nest because the fire ants were attacking its legs, I saved it, cleaned the ants and kept it until the morning. The staff were really helpful in the evening giving me a little box, poking holes in it etc. In the morning I gave the baby (who had recovered by then) to the staff who put it on the roof. Very helpful of them. Also they were in general very nice.

It's a bit far from the main road and when you get to the main road the erea seems a bit strange, like not very safe for foreigners, but this was just my feeling, may not be true :)

Environment and nice vibe. Wifi very good and strong.

Too hidden and ally to come in very dark. Not save at night walk as dog barking as well. Suggestions to have shutter service to main road will be helpful for visitors to move around especially at night.

The room is tidy and neat. The cleaning was every day. The staff is friendly and responsive. The hotel facilities are good to keep yourself busy. The pool was great.

The location is a confusing a bit. On the first day, we were lost within the area as Google Maps could not identify the exact location, but you get used to it few days after. It was said the bed linen is changed every 7 days, but that did not happen. Only after our request on the reception the linen was changed to a clean one, but this is not a big issue.
