The staff, particularly Jay, were great. Helpful, friendly and attentive without being in your face. The villa was really comfortable and the pool was great. We had breakfasts at the villa and had a couple of dinners as well. All were really good. We found Visakha to be really good value and would recommend it.

I'm a reasonably well travelled 'mature' (in age only) individual and the approach to Visakha is a little underwhelming if you're expecting a grand sweeping drive, but this was our first trip to Bali and we were a little naiive in our expectations. The nearest beach is about a 10 minute walk and no problem.

The location was good . Service was great , staff very friendly and helpful. Food we had was good and fulfilling . Can’t complain.

Nice little resort with quiet villas in a nature environment. Big bath room and a private pool with a good temperature (refreshing, but not too cold), this was also the case for the pool for the whole resort. The restaurant offers a sufficient number of dishes with a good quality and taste. The staff and management were always friendly and helpful. Even in a nearly outbooked situation the resort was still quiet and there was always a table available in the restaurant.

The beach is a 15 minutes walk away and the other beaches are in Sanur (15 minutes drive). There was just one chair within the villa.

We loved our first stay so much, that we came back for another week! We were fortunate enough that we were able to stay in the same villa that we had in the first week. It is such a lovely room with the most wonderful outdoor area to relax by our own pool and read. While we were away, the renovations to the main pool were completed and it looks great. Loved the kites that were continuously in the air! The staff are so friendly and helpful. They truly couldn't do enough for us and any time there might be an issue, it was dealt with immediately. We had the best time and can't wait to come back again.

The Mertasari Beach end of Sanur is further away from the centre with shops and restaurants to be able to walk. Visakha do offer a daily shuttle service which is fabulous, but I would suggest that people wanting to stay think about hiring push bikes to make it easier to get around.

We stayed in Visakha Sanur for 2 nights with our 9 months old daughter and had the room with a private pool. The airport shuttle was perfectly arranged, sending us a WhatsApp from the driver on forehand that he was waiting for us. The staff is most friendly and willing to arrange anything for your linking. Jay, the manager will always come in and check during breakfast if everything is to your liking. They have a shuttle drop off to the center which we frequently used, I believe you could also walk straight to the beach. It’s quite close. The cabin itself is quite spacious, with a private pool in the backyard. The bathroom is half outdoors, which gives it a very nice ecstatic. Everything is quite clean and tidy, they properly clean your room every day. We also enjoyed the restaurant a few times, since we have our daughter asleep we could just eat nearby. The food was really good. Breakfast was a choice of Balinese or American breakfast. Choose between fruit smoothy of fruit pieces. All very good and you’re able to deliver to room, which we enjoyed on our last day. Would definitely recommend

Visakha is traditional style accommodation, where we had a wonderful corner comfortable large villa with a beautiful garden and our own pool. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was also great.

At the time of our stay the main pool (which was closed) and villa next door was being renovated which caused a bit of noise and dust but didn’t worry us too much because we had our own pool. The renovations of the pool and villa are due to be completed in another two weeks. To note, the villas are a bit remote from the Sanur centre so Visakha supply a shuttle service that goes from the villas to the city centre of Sanur but we hired some e-bikes to get us get around.

It’s traditional Balinese style. Villas are very spacious, swimming pool is clean and stuff is very really friendly and taking very good care of the quests. We spend great vacation there and really enjoyed the nice breakfast served every morning in the villa.

We visited during the raining season and there was damp and musty smell on the second floor. Location is also not the best as the area around is too local and far away from the main streets. However, grab is very suitable and cheap option for transport and it wasn’t a big issue for us. Positive side it that the area around the hotel was very quiet.

Lovely and very helpful staff, perfect location and was clean and food looked amazing. Just wished I had not made other plans to sit and enjoy. Next time. The very affectionate and funny ginger cat loves to hang out and hunting for lizards on wall. It loved coming say hi or snoozing with you. If anyone does stay and don’t want cat around, just put it outside. It stays away long enough. But it’s such a sweet cat and I’m not a cat person.

I had read reviews about the water pressure. I was not expecting it to be so terrible. I did ask maintenance to attend on day one and hoped they would fix. But unfortunately no. The only pressure you get is when it’s scolding hot. Hot water really not required in Bali! But that was the only real issue. Hope they can get it fixed. And the other problem was the main room air condition could not cope with the heat transfer from thatched roof. It really didn’t cope and at times neither did I.

An outstanding holiday stretching 5 weeks! We stayed in 2 different villas within this resort. Beautifully relaxing, unique niche-end resort. Open communal dining area set in pretty garden. Breakfast - sumptuous menu provides great choice, with gentle balinese music wafting to leave all your stress behind. Villa room service also available if you wish. Gardens beautiully maintained....a secret oasis tucked away in Sth Sanur, with convenient car shuttle offered to and fro' Central Sanur 4 times every day, but if you're into walking, the seaside corniche is only abt 300 metres from resort - wide corniche then continues for about 6 ks. If you need anything special at all, just let Visakha staff know. Lovely private pools for personal swimming behind discrete locked doors within fence line; privacy+++😊 Large pool towels provided, separate to bath towels + hairdryer provided. Generous bathrooms; 2 separate sinks; separate deep bath included as well as walk-in shower. Large attractive pool in communal area to enjoy as well if you wish. Bedroom airconditioned + lovely and clean - attractive mosquitoe nets over the comfy bed - although we didn't find mozzies to be too much of a problem. Our one day guests were also warmly welcomed by all staff. Staff offer special additions without being intrusive iYKWiM... Again, all special requests met, such as laundry service - we love this place! It's got to be Bali's best kept secret. Staff: headed up by wonderful Jay, all are absolutely amazing - needs attended asap; nothing seems too much. Our 6th visit to Bali, celebrating our 45 years together and our stay over 5 weeks was wonderful! Setting: Authentic, quaint, rustic, balinese setting - complete with thatched rooves. Staff: Fantastic; warm, welcoming, thoughtful and so kind - stress simply melted away. For an authentic balinese stay, you cannot get a better experience than Visakha. but sshhh...

Bathrooms are very generous in size but now tired, could do with a reno and a good scrub in the meantime. Occasionally water pressure could be a tad low. Some power points needing repair.

We enjoyed everything about the Visakha Sanur, the team are kind and helpful, breakfast and other meals outstanding, the resort pool lovely and our villa pool a wonderful place to relaxing. The 2 bedroom pool villa is actually two separate buildings with ensuite, sharing a private pool and outdoor dining/sitting area with pool loungers. Perfect for families or 2 couples. While it is located out of the centre this is a bonus for a peaceful stay, especially when the regular shuttle can take you to the centre (and home again until 4:15) and a taxi home was never more than $3-4AUD (before tip). We are very grateful to Vijay and his team for our perfect holiday in Sanur.
