This is a really beautiful villa set in a lovely garden. It is so quiet and peaceful. At night I loved the forest sounds of the frogs and insects. The bathroom was bigger than any I have seen. The plunge pool was lovely. The staff so friendly and kind. I absolutely loved the art everywhere. It gives this place lots of character Breakfast was good

It was a little far away from the action for us. The place needs some maintenance eg there is lots of mould in the bathroom and loose tiles in the pool and the outdoor furniture needs replacing. The garden around the pool needs a clean up. The bed was really hard

The staff, particularly Jay, were great. Helpful, friendly and attentive without being in your face. The villa was really comfortable and the pool was great. We had breakfasts at the villa and had a couple of dinners as well. All were really good. We found Visakha to be really good value and would recommend it.

I'm a reasonably well travelled 'mature' (in age only) individual and the approach to Visakha is a little underwhelming if you're expecting a grand sweeping drive, but this was our first trip to Bali and we were a little naiive in our expectations. The nearest beach is about a 10 minute walk and no problem.

The small Pool Villas worked very well for us as a family of 4. We had booked two villas because there was not an option with a villa with 4 beds but as we understand Visakha Sanur is expanding with more villas in the future with room for 4 people in one villa. The personnel are very service-minded and both breakfast and cleaning were all to our satisfaction. The placement just south of the busy tourist area worked for us because it was quieter than staying at a hotel at the main tourist area. Taxi service is very cheap so going to the tourist area every day was not a problem. The Visakha Sanur also offers a free shuttle service. We can only recommend staying at Visakha Sanur for a good relaxing holiday.

No dislikes

We stayed for 2 weeks - the second week we were in a larger room which we preferred. It had a large bedroom, bathroom and outdoor living area. We especially loved the large private pool. The breakfast was great with different options and a nice location by the main pool. The staff were friendly and helpful ably led by Jay, who was on hand daily for a chat and advice about Sanur. We used the shuttle service regularly.

Even with the shuttle service, the location is away from a lot of cafes and restaurants. We found ourselves catching more taxis than usual which adds to costs, but we were fully aware of this when we booked. There was some noise from construction happening next door, and we could hear the bypass most nights. In our first week we had some nocturnal visitors outside at night (bats) who would leave a mess, but the staff were quick to clean it up each day.

The location was good . Service was great , staff very friendly and helpful. Food we had was good and fulfilling . Can’t complain.

I was greeted with a warm welcome as soon as I got there. I felt totally at ease. Thank you to Jay, the manager, who upgraded me and cared for everything I needed. You and your staff made my stay so comfortable. The food was lovely, the rooms were quiet, and the bed was comfy. I would highly recommend this beautiful environment. I booked for two nights and stayed for 5! I didn't want to leave; I fell in love with the place and my beloved Gingy (a cat), who spent most nights at the end of my bed. If you dont like cats don’t worry. You don’t really see much of them they keep themselves to themselves, and only approach you if you encourage them.

We stayed in Visakha Sanur for 2 nights with our 9 months old daughter and had the room with a private pool. The airport shuttle was perfectly arranged, sending us a WhatsApp from the driver on forehand that he was waiting for us. The staff is most friendly and willing to arrange anything for your linking. Jay, the manager will always come in and check during breakfast if everything is to your liking. They have a shuttle drop off to the center which we frequently used, I believe you could also walk straight to the beach. It’s quite close. The cabin itself is quite spacious, with a private pool in the backyard. The bathroom is half outdoors, which gives it a very nice ecstatic. Everything is quite clean and tidy, they properly clean your room every day. We also enjoyed the restaurant a few times, since we have our daughter asleep we could just eat nearby. The food was really good. Breakfast was a choice of Balinese or American breakfast. Choose between fruit smoothy of fruit pieces. All very good and you’re able to deliver to room, which we enjoyed on our last day. Would definitely recommend

Nice little resort with quiet villas in a nature environment. Big bath room and a private pool with a good temperature (refreshing, but not too cold), this was also the case for the pool for the whole resort. The restaurant offers a sufficient number of dishes with a good quality and taste. The staff and management were always friendly and helpful. Even in a nearly outbooked situation the resort was still quiet and there was always a table available in the restaurant.

The beach is a 15 minutes walk away and the other beaches are in Sanur (15 minutes drive). There was just one chair within the villa.

We loved our first stay so much, that we came back for another week! We were fortunate enough that we were able to stay in the same villa that we had in the first week. It is such a lovely room with the most wonderful outdoor area to relax by our own pool and read. While we were away, the renovations to the main pool were completed and it looks great. Loved the kites that were continuously in the air! The staff are so friendly and helpful. They truly couldn't do enough for us and any time there might be an issue, it was dealt with immediately. We had the best time and can't wait to come back again.

The Mertasari Beach end of Sanur is further away from the centre with shops and restaurants to be able to walk. Visakha do offer a daily shuttle service which is fabulous, but I would suggest that people wanting to stay think about hiring push bikes to make it easier to get around.

It’s traditional Balinese style. Villas are very spacious, swimming pool is clean and stuff is very really friendly and taking very good care of the quests. We spend great vacation there and really enjoyed the nice breakfast served every morning in the villa.

We visited during the raining season and there was damp and musty smell on the second floor. Location is also not the best as the area around is too local and far away from the main streets. However, grab is very suitable and cheap option for transport and it wasn’t a big issue for us. Positive side it that the area around the hotel was very quiet.
