The room on the 3rd floor was gorgeous~ it had a balcony overlooking the pool, was fresh ,modern quiet and spacious . The standout of the hotel however was the amazing, friendly, helpful, lovely staff . Buffet Breakfast was fine , with eggs made to order. The pool is lovely in a nice garden setting. The spa service ( an off shoot of Leha Leha down the road) on the 2nd floor was excellent~ my facial from Putu was fantastic.

Getting out of the pool could be a bit easier . One of the ladders was missing some steps, and it was slightly slippery on the wooden terrace once out of the pool.

Lovely little hotel, staff really friendly and good facilities. Pool got the sun for most of the day and the location was great, less than 10 mins walk to the beach and less than 5 mins to Warungs

Only criticism was although breakfast served until ten most things weren't refilled from 9.15am onwards meaning you felt you had to get their earlier. Also wasn't too busy when we were there so usually got a spot round the pool but might be difficult in peak season.

We chose the hotel because of the location, price and buffet breakfast ( it is very rare for hotels in Bali to offer buffet breakfast). Location was nice, quite close to everything in Sanur ( downtown, mall, beach - by walk or by Grab/Gojek). Price was ok, buffet breakfast just as expected - pastry, local dishes, warm food for breakfast - rice, chicken, soup, many types of potatoe), freshly made eggs upon your request, pancake, waffles, peanut butter, cocoa souce, jams etc.... Big spacy room. Extremely nice stuff! Very nice( but small) pool area. In the neighbourhood a lot of massage saloons :) There is safe in the room wardrobe, cleaning was excellent, air conditioning very good. There was no mold!!!!! ( in Bali in a lot of hotels there is...). Best bed ever in a hotel I would say compared to wherever I stayed!!!!!( all over the world). LOved the balcony. When we checked out, at 11, they asked proactively if we want to leave our baggages until we still around in the city.

I had issues with the room, but they are not extremely important. First: the lighting in the bathroom is horrible, so for example you cannot adjust your eyebrows or do your makeup, as there is no proper lighting for the mirror. ( only ceiling light). Besides, there we not enough plugs in the room/bathroom. Ceiling paint coming off at a few places, but nothing serious. Nothing luxury in the room, but that is fine, just mentioning, do not expect luxurious furniture.

Great staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very comprehensive and good quality.

The pool area looks nice but for size of hotel was a little cramped and all one depth no shallower end, although there was what looked like a kids pool tucked away.

We spent 6 days here, and our experience with the location is highly positive. First of all, the hotel really is a great value for money. The rooms are big, in good condition, and cleaned every day. We found the bed (king size) to be comfortable enough. The pool area is nice, and you have the bar open all day. However, what trully stands out and what made our stay an excellent one was the staff - incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with everything we needed. Many thanks for that! Overall, expectations were exceeded. I recommend Taksu Hotel for your stay in Sanur.

The breakfast can be a little more varied, but even how it is now it works pretty well.

Breakfast was great. It was lovely to sit by the pool in the mornings to eat breakfast. Antari makes the best cappuccinos! There was plenty of choice in hot foods, bread and pastries and fresh fruit and juices. The egg station is great as we had a choice of freshly made eggs to order. From the minute we checked in until we checked out we were greeted with a warm “hello” and happy faces. Mirah and Fati were very helpful when I asked if we could have a late checkout. If we needed a taxi they rang and ordered one for us. There is nothing to fault about Taksu, it is a great place to stay if you don’t want to be in a big crowded resort. It was peaceful and quiet.

The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. The pool is fantastic, large and perfect for those who enjoy long-distance swimming:-) There is also a basketball hoop and other water play equipment for children. The pool is surrounded by a multitude of beautiful plant what makes a great atmosphere. Breakfast is very good and varied with a variety of drinks and hot dishes. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Our first night we stayed in a room with a connecting door and were unlucky because the guests in the room were very loud at night. Thanks to the friendly staff we were able to change rooms the next day. The rooms are large and very well-appointed. I recommend a room with a balcony. In the evenings you can enjoy excellent live music at the bar several times a week. There are many restaurants near the hotel; shops and the beach are a short 15-minute walk away.

Unfortunately, you can hear the street and I recommend earplugs but only for the light sleepers:-)

Comfortable Clean rooms. Accurate reflection of photo on site Restaurant on site - nice ambiance,well cooked food, menu choice and price point. Try the bbq night. Good buffet style breakfast to suit majority of palettes. Good pool size to facilitate swimming with additional Basketball hoop to one end. I had no issues with acquiring a sunbed, in April. Room facilities- water provided daily, pleasant toiletries, good aircon. Serviced daily. Iron on request. Strong wifi throughout. Quiet and handy location. Stars of the show, the staff, from cleaners, kitchen, front office to management, all make themselves available they are professional, efficient, intent on making your stay the best they can. Ability and swift willingness to solve guest issues. Strongly recommend staying.

Minor issue, some of the rooms are advised as pool view when in fact they are not. So if this is a particular desire, confirm with hotel direct. I think this maybe a marketing oversight. Adjoining rooms are not well sound proofed.

The included buffet breakfast was wonderful with lots of choice. The omelettes and scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly. The fresh fruit, cakes and pastries were yummy. I liked that there were lots of staff around so always someone available to assist you with anything. The staff were lovely and friendly and always asked what you had planned for the day. Sri always made an effort to talk to us at breakfast each morning to check that we were enjoying our holiday. The beds were very comfortable too.

Nothing we were very happy with our stay.

Stayed 1 night. Room was so spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were too soft. Breakfast was good value for money. Surround had Padang eateries where you can enjoy good nasi padang. There was a convenient store nearby. Pubs and cafes are about 5 mins walking distance. There were souvenir shops, nail shops, hair salon all walking distance of about 5 to 10 mins. Roads are all well lighted making it safe for us to walk. Enjoyed the stay

Breakfast had porridge but the condiments were very very limited. No sesame oil, salted vegetable, braised peanuts, salted eggs, ikan bilis and many more missing..... It looked like the Chef is not familiar with chinese porridge. The porridge was also very thick and I had to add hot water into my porridge to make it a little watery to swallow. The relevant person in-charge should look into this where major corrections and amendments are required.....
