I stayed in Villa with private pool up the hill , very nice views , cool good size clean private pool , very good breakfast , very comfortable bed , kitchen with important needs and a microwave also ,

We went there on may 2023 , since hotel is newly opened after the pandemic , it’s only the pool and restaurant that are running , other services still under renovations ,,, Lots and lots of lizards, insects and ants in and around the room and in the open type bathroom ,,, hotel did not use any means to stop them from visiting the guest rooms Toilet moving needs maintenance,, Beach club still not functioning ,,

A beautiful slice of paradise in West Lombok, Sundancer is hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the northern Gilis and Kuta Lombok in the south. Enjoy the amazing sunsets with a chance to see both Mt Rinjani and Mt Agung at the same time and relax with the wonderful staff taking care of you! Centrally located amongst the "Secret Gilis" there are lots of great snorkelling and diving opportunities. The breakfast is amazing, the restaurant serves up very tasty meals in general, the spa and jacuzzi are excellent, there are entertaining barbeque and traditional buffet nights and the grounds are so well kept it's beautiful. I enjoyed seeing the bats flying past at sunset, the occasional monkey in the hills and the chorus of geckos at night. Thank you very much to Elva, Nyoman, Dani, Haidir, Niluh, Muzan, Agus, Kadek, Yusuf, Deni, Candra, Harris and Zul for making us feel so at home in this beautiful part of the world.

Rooms are a bit worn out but the new management team are actively updating them. Food is pricey as you are quite isolated, expect to pay double/triple what you would at a local warung.

The infinity pool villa was absolutely stunning. The view, the location was beyond our expectations! Our driver Danni was so friendly and accomodating our entire stay! He made it so memorable. Our waiter and bartender Dana had the best customer service, always attentive and overall a great asset to the team at Sundancer. A massive thank you to the whole staff, we will be back and letting all our friends and family know about this hidden gem!

Probably the food options could improve and with a little more quality. Other than that, nothing bad to say at all!

The hotel was excellent. The rooms were nice and large. The biggest problem is the hotel's location, which is far from everything. Unless you have a car or motorcycle, it's complicated. But it has one of the most beautiful pools I've ever seen. (And I've traveled all over the world). I had it all to myself because the hotel wasn't very busy. The only thing that was subpar was the breakfast. There was little choice. About 15 km away is a fair that was interesting. The hotel exuded complete peace and quiet. I will definitely return with my family for a few nights.

The room we booked was the Ocean View Villa with Private infinity pool. The view of this place was amazing! We were placed on top of the resort, with views of the ocean and island. Driver is available with a phone call to the room (otherwise it is a bit of a walk). They offer a driving service within a 20min radius of hotel as well. From start to finish the service was 10/10 everyone was so helpful and accommodating, I felt at home. I special shoutout to Ardi and Haidir. Thank you for taking care of my husband and I on our honeymoon. They helped us so much with any issues we had. Haidir setup both the romantic dinner (food was delicious) and floating breakfast which made our stay that much more special. We even received a beautiful congratulatory arrangement in our room on the first day. We were so well taken care of. The location of the hotel is far from airport, but it is an island, and the best places are always hidden gems, the drive is so worth it. We went during rainy season I can only imagine it is even more beautiful during peak season. With nearby floating seafood restaurants and tour companies. The hotel made everything very easy for us, including cashing out.

The overall condition of the room/parts of hotel has a lot of potential. I think if the owners of the hotel invested in a reno or major maintenance of the entire resort it would be amazing, and only very minor training for some of the staff to lift their skill set taking the hotel to the next level. The fresh juices were watered down, wasn’t a fan of that.

A very quiet peaceful and serene place for relaxing. If you wanted to escape from noisy city life, I’ll definitely recommend Sundancer. You can simply just lay at the poolside,enjoying the sun without any distraction. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Arbar and Dedi, the receptionists were very dedicated with theirs job. The restaurant staffs were very caring and nice. I would say they simply deserve a 5* in their service. Keep it up guys, I hope I’ll see you guys again soon.

A very nice resort, beautiful apartment, great staff, especially Asril, Nyoman and Elva, and a lovely pool. Just a great location for someone looking for peace and tranquility. Overall a great experience.

A bit far away from the main activity points on the island. Cleanliness could improve. Laundry was a bit pricey.

The staff there don't smile enough, making them seem unfriendly and aggressive. Some of the restaurant staff don't seem to understand what I'm asking, even though I'm Indonesian and speak Indonesian. Do I have to speak English for them to understand? The male staff in the restaurant, who wears a blue t-shirt, are very friendly and always smile, so I feel comfortable talking to them.

We arrived at around midnight, and while there was no one at the reception due to the late hour, the hotel had made proper arrangements for us to receive our key and all necessary instructions, which made our check-in process smooth. The rooms were incredibly clean, cozy, and had stunning views of Lombok’s pristine nature. One of the aspects I loved most was how peaceful and serene the atmosphere was. The quiet and tranquil environment, combined with the intimate and cozy room setting, made it an ideal place to relax and unwind. The hotel’s restaurant offered a variety of delicious local dishes that were a highlight of our stay. The freshness of the ingredients and the authentic flavors of Indonesian cuisine made each meal a delightful experience. I also want to extend my special thanks to the hotel staff for their professional and kind behavior. Although no one was present when we first arrived, throughout our stay, the staff promptly and efficiently addressed any needs or requests we had, always ensuring we felt well taken care of.
