The staff at the Anshel were very friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed my chats with Dewi, she was so lovely and happy to help with anything I needed. I arrived later than planned, and Dewi asked the kitchen to stay open so I could order room service. When the TV in my room wasn't working, she organised an upgrade to a superior room at no charge. My room was comfortable and great value for money. The hotel is in a relatively quiet area of Seminyak, close to convenience stores, and the fantastic Rose Spa just down the street. My friends stayed in a villa around the corner, and we walked everywhere and always felt safe.

Location good, air con good, comfortable bed and pillows

No hot water! Or even warm water. I had cold showers for 7 nights. I told the staff on three occasions, but still cold showers. On 3rd time, staff member told me to wait 10-12 minutes for it to warm up. Nope, it didn't, and I moved lever to left and tried and moved to right and tried. All just cold water. I would have been happy with just warm water, but no, it was always cold.

Location is only 5-6 minutes walk to main beaches and 10 minutes walk to KoDeTa, one of the prominent beach clubs. Rooms were serviced daily, A/C was good as were treetop views. Breakfast was good, especially for the price. Safety boxes in room, with wardrobe, desk, chair & TV.

This boutique hotel isn't palatial, with a small pool & few loungers. No sockets by bed nor shower gel/shampoo. Balcony in room is of little use as you can't sit on it. Room top/6th floor is used for drying clothes which is a shame as it could be a great place with sunlongers. Wouldn't ask for tourist advice from front desk as English isn't great.

The location is perfect, only a few minutes from the beach, restaurants and shops , the staff was very polite and helpful.

The only thing I didn’t like was the toilets and showers, because they have glass doors.

I liked everything about the property. The attached cage and restaurant were awesome too!

The aircon in our room didn’t work so we were moved to a better room where the aircon did work.

Affordable option, friendly staff, nice cafe downstairs, good location not far from the beach with lots of options around. Room is fine albeit a weird layout

Drain was a bit smelly, towels a bit old, pool not very inviting.

Very clean and well kept. Room was very good value for the money. Friendly staff overall I am very glad I stayed there and will go again. Good stuff guys keep up the good work AAAAA+++++

Location. Nice rooms.

Place has great potential but small things let it down. Lovely pool but not clean. Tv has all the channels but they are all fuzzy. Room gas a safe but no key for it. Towels and sheets clean but very worn.

Great place, was very clean, the host was a nice man and helpful. The food was yum

Shower took a bit of time to heat up but got there in the end.
