The accomodation was excellent, staff were very friendly and accomodating. Everything was very clean and the staff worked hard to keep everything looking point-perfect. I had a great nights sleep every night I stayed at Kubu Chempaka, which is something I struggled with at other locations in Bali. The room was made up every day to perfection. I stayed with a large family group, and the staff did everything they could to make our stay easy and stress free. The pool water was clean and kind on both the body and eyes (some other locations had left some of our party unwilling to swim as the water felt slimy and stung their eyes after swimming). I will definitely be back.

There didn't appear to be a laundry service at Kubu Chempaka. This wasn’t a big deal as there was 2 full laundry service business within 2-3 minutes walk. The shower took quite a while for the hot water to arrive. This too wasn’t an issue as I quickly learned to start the water, before I started preparing to shower, rather than simply standing there waiting. When in Bali, accomodations like these are easy and come naturally.

Perfectly situated near the main commercial streets of Seminyak, and in walking distance of the beach (15 to 20 min.), but at some distance from the road, so that it is perfectly quiet. With a large swimming pool and a well maintained garden, the place is like a little paradise. The rooms are large and elegant. The breakfast menu offers a choice of delicious compositions and abundance of fruit. The staff is charming.

Although the wifi was very good, on two occasions (on a five day stay), the Internet was down. But this might have nothing to do with the hotel.

The hotel is nicer and more modern than I expected. Our room on the ground floor overlooked the pool. The staff is very friendly. The included breakfast is good. You can choose 2 courses; a fruit platter (Melon, Pine apple, Papaya) or smoothie and next for example two eggs on toast with mushrooms and sausage and tomato. Just good to start the day. It's quiet but not far from the busier part with shops, warungs, bars and cafes. During our stay we used the app Grab for taxis, it's like Uber. We could stay in our room past checkout time (till 5pm) for a little extra, great service!

The room was clean and spacious. The hotel grounds were well maintained. I really enjoyed the pool area. It was quiet and relaxing. Very close to the beach and the main area with many restaurants and shops.

The food needs big improvement. I had breakfast included but didn't eat any of it.

My wife and I went to Bali for the first time and it couldn’t be better! All the hotel staff smiles a lot! How nice is that?!,they provided great service in everything. The breakfast was delicious (especially the banana pancakes). Talking about food the small restaurant of the hotel delivers very good food, we ate spaghetti a la carbonara, a club sandwich, burgers, and also some delicious traditional food! The pool area is a highlight as it has sun all day!!! Perfect for drinks and beers. The location is perfect very close to the main Streets where you can enjoy nice restaurants and cool shops to buy silver jewellery, clothes, and home decoration. The beach is a 10-minute walk and has an amazing sunset;))) We are getting back for Christmas time! All our gratitude to the hotel staff🙏🏼✨

We liked everything;)

We loved our stay here. It was only 5min walk away from the busy road and easy distance to the main beach strip. The workers were really friendly and helped us check in late (12am). Their breakfast was super yummy and the pool was perfect to start and finish our day in. Our room had everything we needed, aircon was good, room was tidy and functional to our needs.

Very clean. Good location and very good value for money. Access was down a quiet, level, clean lane. Included breakfast was amazing- great variety. All food that came out of the kitchen was delicious and timely. Rooms were kept clean. Would definitely stay again.

Tiles can get quite slippery when wet on the front landing of the rooms and in the restaurant.

Everything was nice ,rooms ,pool and staff and breakfast was good

Our first breakfast was served up cold beside the eggs . One staff member took advantage one evening and over charged us for some drinks by $2. Australian , I would have given a tip to all the staff at end of our stay but that put me off and I decided it was not honest to take advantage of travelers .

Great location and nice clean place. Great value for money and lovely staff working there. Pool is cleaned daily as well as the grounds. Off main road but 4 mins walk to the main shopping and restaurants and cafes. I would come back

Nothing rooms were tidy and comfortable

Amazing property with 23 rooms. All rooms have a pool view, especially ground floor rooms are located next to the pool. Very clean property, you can walk barefoot and dont feel dirty at all Location is excelllent, nearby lots of laundry places and 7 mins further there are restaurants Staffs are all very nice and polite After a long and tiring day of sightseeing, u will feel very relax just sitting by the restaurant or the open air restaurant In short you will not regret booking this hotel.
