I only stayed here for one night but I found the staff to be friendly and the room to be clean and comfortable. The AC and wifi both functioned well in my room. I ordered the Indonesian breakfast (optional extra) which was very good. The homestay is located on a quiet side street. There are several cafes, small marts and other amenities within walking distance. The main intercity train stations (Pasarturi, Gubeng) are a further taxi or scooter ride away

The shared bathroom was a little small although the shower did have hot water and good water pressure

The girls working at the homestay are really nice and easy to talk to. The rooms and common areas are very clean. Bed is comfortable. TV works and is placed in a good direction compared to the bed. You have a workstation so you don't have to sit in your bed with your laptop. The house was quiet all days of my stay after 21:00. Breakfast was great and well prepared.

Toilet/bath is a bit small. I would recommend setting up a shower curtain to separate bath and toilet to avoid water getting everywhere. AC worked great but the remote didn't always work so I had to turn it on manually. Location is not bad but not good either, it is very central which means that most attractions will be a 30-40min drive away.

Staff great, so friendly, helpful, polite, easy going. Room nice size, bed comfy, A/C good. bathroom nice size, good hot water shower, although the holder for shower head not good, so better to hand hold. Kitchen ok, good fridge space. Good hot\cold water dispenser. Location quiet, good for shops & places to eat.

The lock on the door was a pain to lock, taking several attempts mostly.)it’s going to be fixed !!??) Otherwise all good, would recommend

The Room is great, being the bed really confortable!! The location is halfway from the Old town and the bus station so it's ok, but the good side is exploring it's surroundings, exploring the small local villages and connecting with them. The have fresh/cold Water, tea and coffee for free what's always a good thing here. There weren't many other guests there, because it's a more hotel type vibe, só really good to rest and stay a night.

Being a little bit far from the center makes you going by foot with the really hot weather or going by Grab/táxi, spending more money.

It's clean and comfortable. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The location are very strategic too. It's a good place to stay, even for 4 nights. The owners even took their time at 4 am to take us to the nearest train station and picked us up again at around 10 pm. The laundry is also clean and fast. Overall, I really like it here. Very recommended!

There are mosquitos at night, despite the air conditioner. The bathroom door is broken. One of the cable plugs are half covered by the bed, so it's difficult for a certain phone charger and there are only 2 ports on the wall. But it's all still acceptable.

The host is one of the kindest people I have ever met. I would give her 100 stars if I could. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable, and she gave me helpful tips to help me navigate the city. There are several restaurants and convenience stores, etc. within walking distance. It was easy to access from the airport by taxi (Grab and Gojek are widely available) and is in close proximity to the train station.

It’s in a side street which is great because you do not hear traffic or anything from the outside. Generally quiet and peaceful place in the middle of a big city. The staff is extremely helpful and nice but not intrusive. Perfect combination. The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good! We extended our stay here! In general, great value for money! I would stay here again even though I often stay at 4-5star hotels.

I can only recommend this hotel :) My room was clean, spacious and really quiet, there are a lot of food options in the neighborhood, the staff was friendly, and I met really friendly backpackers and locals there. I was traveling solo and got sick, so I had to extend my stay on a short notice. Not only did the boss arrange me a doctor's appointment within 10 minutes when I asked for help, she also made sure to bring me there, made sure I had something to eat, brought me to a restaurant and asked if I needed anything more. Especially for someone traveling alone it was amazing to feel taken care of and she went far above anything I would have expected of any hotel! She is very knowledgeable and can recommend many places in Surabaya or places to visit on the island too. Thank you!!! :) :)

Property was as announced. Everything was perfect. Staff really friendly, they even helped me to change money and keep my luggage for two days as I was in a tour. The location it’s okay, no many bar/restaurants around but great place for a night or two to have a base as most of the tours pick you up from your place. Everything went well! I recommend the place. Thanks!!

Its clean and tidy room, they offer different charger for international traveler to use. Roof for dry clothes and mini market in the lobby for people need some goceries. The bed make me feel like queen, very comfy. Owner its helpful for helping finding vegetarian restaurants. The share kitchen and refill water machine its lovely.
