This my first time to visit Surabaya river view, absolutely there is no river it's a drain dirty , opposite my room window, BUT, having said that hotel is great, everyone is exceptionally friendly always smile on there face very approachable. Room was good size bed and pillows are very comfy toilet very clean, Aircon super cool. Everyday they changed bed cover and pillows case it's spots less. I'm glad I select this hotel it's also walking distance to money changers and major department store like SOGO and others I highly recommend this hotel

Only set back here is food menu is very limited they must improve there menu by adding few more dishes during my 4 nights I couldn't get good choice after my beers, another set back there live music , it's far too loud can't have good conversation mostly everyone sitting outdoor due to open area and music toooooo loud.pls improve on this two which I think absolutely necessary.otherthen that all is well. We really liked the area the hotel was located as close by there were many Restaurants and Shops where you can try Indonesian food. The Pool was also good and the staff gave some good recommendations regarding local restaurants. The Pool area is really nice to relax in the evening and see the sunset.

The rooms are alright but as stated previously from other guests - the bathroom could need some modernization. Also, the breakfast was not our favorite. It is mainly local food - which is great - but not really clear what includes Fish, meat etc. For Western people, it might be a little spicy. All in all, we would stay here again!

Nice location to put you right in the middle of Surabaya, the rooftop bar gives a great view of the city, the room was large and clean and the bathroom was also large and clean. Reception area is also very clean and is inviting and relaxing. The receptoin staff helped me contact a driver that didnt get my booking to visit Mt. Bromo, if it wasnt for them i would never have gotten on my trip, i am gratefull they spend a good 10-15 mins to assist me. Water bottles complementary in the room and cleand and beds made daily. Staff were great with a few suggestions on eateries and other points of interest to visit whilst there. Rooftop bar had a nice vibe and even had live music and chilled out pool on the roof. Bed was huge and very comfortable

Bathroom has a bit of wear and tear, might need a little re-grouting in places as people might mistake natural decolouring as mould.

The hotel's in a great location for the old part of Surabaya. Our room was large, with good facilities, spotlessly clean and with a really comfy bed. It was also quiet. The rooftop bar and swimming pool are a real bonus. There was live music in the bar the night were were there and the young couple playing were really rather good. We didn't get to use the swimming pool as we were only staying one night but it looked very clean and inviting. The views from the roof are great. All in all we were pleasantly surprised by our stay and would come back.

This was another hotel where the safe in the room wasn't working, which seems a common theme to Javanese hotels! A mild irritation but as access to the floors where guests stay is restricted it's not too much of a worry.

Room was lovely and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Roof top pool was an added bonus, nice to relax up there. Welcome drink was simple but free.

We ordered food from the rooftop bar by the pool and the service charge/tax that was added on was a bit of a shock. Maybe it can be included in the price of the food so people know the total price before ordering. Room was super clean but the shower was blocked and kept flooding; cleaners just need to remember to remove hair from the drains every so often to stop it building up. My friend removed it :) :)

The staff at reception was so helpful. Almost everything needed was supplied. Food served for dinner was tasty and inexpensive. Breakfast was really good (indonesian food, very tasty). The swimming pool was really nice. Clean.

Not a huge amount around there, would need to walk for 5 mins for a more central area to find bustling activity, this, meant many guests ate at the restaurant. The room decor is getting a little tired, needs a repaint and re grout. Really could do with supplying hand wash or soap and the usual body wash/shampoo.

From the moment we arrived the staff have been exceptional .Welcoming, helpful, and always smiling. The reception area is spacious and cool with a large breakfast area, which has wonderful reviews . There is a great rooftop pool and restaurant/ Cafe (air cond) with 360' views over the city . There is also outdoor tables and chairs on different levels, outside the air conditioned rooftop restaurant . Our room was wonderful , spacious and flooded with light . Super comfy bed and very functional bathroom + plenty of storage for your belongings . Our room was spotless, and kept that way for our long stay, by our very friendly and thorough housekeeping staff. The position on the river was very convenient, as we could walk to the massive Tanjungan Mall and the Old Town to see Dutch buildings, the Riverside has pretty little gardens nearby to walk in as well ...all very convenient . We also booked a "Bromo Tour" thru the hotel with our guide driver Abu, and we enjoyed it immensely . A very long night into day tour, but great guide and the very safe Jeep driver up to Volcanoes . Highly recommend this lovely hotel in a great position with wonderful staff .

room was comfy and spacious, bathroom was usefully designed and clean there is a water cooler in the cafe, but they provide bottles as well

location is on a busy street, not so bad for noise, but not that easy to walk to cafes, so have to always take a grab making it harder to explore or see the city pool is small, but still fine to cool off

The rooftop pool was special, with a view across all the city. The restaurant was also on the same level and allowed for dinner and drinks with the same spectacular view, especially at night. The family room was large, with plenty of space for 1 x king and 1 x double bed, plus a desk and space AND lounge seating area.

Access to alternative nearby cafes and restaurants was limited and you needed a Grab to get there, since the roads were not safe for pedestrians.

The room was very clean and breakfast was mostly good. The rooftop pool was nice and the view fantastic.

The opening hours of the pool were rather limited and it offered no shade, staff at the rooftop restaurant gave the impression they're doing us a favor serving us. Coffee and tea at breakfast tasted burnt and were undrinkable, fruit replenished with small amounts and slowly. Late check out was possible only with payment.
