The hotel is fabulous! Very beautiful and cozy. The great thing about the hotel rooms is that they are separate houses standing at a distance from each other. This creates a sense of privacy and seclusion. The lodge consists of a room and a bathroom, and part of the bathroom (the shower) is in the open air - so cool! The main attraction of the hotel complex is the sauna (Russian banya). It is wonderful for everything, and unusual stylish architecture and relaxing healing procedures, which are carried out there by professional sauna masters. Personally, I tried everything the hotel offers: sauna, massage and acupuncture sessions, hydrogen inhalation through a tube and of course I did yoga every morning. We were taught in turns by three different professional trainers, each good at it in her own way. In general, we really enjoyed there and we heartily recommend this hotel!

The room was very spacious and had several different areas to sit except for the bed - 2 comfortable outdoor seats in the porch, 2 chairs inside the room with a coffee table & a nice bench-couch. The staff was very nice & helpful. They provide very special clean drinking water for free, we very much enjoyed that.

The location was quite remote from Ubud city center - about 17 mins drive by motorcycle. The wifi reception at the entire hotel was very bad - both in the room & the front desk area. The water in the shower kept changing the temperature independently - from steaming hot to freezing cold, not so nice considering it was an outdoor shower.

I loved being immersed in nature. Each room is detached from all other cabins which I loved as it was so intimate and separated guests from eachother. The room itself was super spacious, calming and had a great view. You have to weave yourself through the carefully layer stones paths to navigate the different areas of this hotel which I thought was cute. This hotel provided pretty much all you need. I only left to do excursions and touristy things.

Nothing really, there is currently some construction going on but it’s well hidden and I couldn’t hear anything from my room.

Visiting Hot Stone Club Ubud was truly one of the highlights of my time in Bali. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such warmth and genuine hospitality that I instantly felt at ease. It's a shame that the spa is not available all day or when needed. Regarding the restaurant, the food offered does not go with this place. Shame

The hotel is surrounded by jungle and calming, iconic paddy fields. We loved falling asleep to the jungle sounds and stepping into the open air bathroom to see a canopy of stars at night. The service was exceptional, with everything from ordering our meals to booking taxis and activities all efficiently managed over instant WhatsApp messaging. We felt so looked after and nothing was ever too much trouble. The restaurant was casual without set eating times when we were there, instead we were able to food from the menu almost whenever we wanted, to eat wherever we chose! The food is delicious, so fresh and authentic. I had an amazing energy massage as well as acupuncture, all onsite. There’s yoga daily and the sauna is a must-do experience! Thank you Hot Stone Club - we’ll be back!

Storage/hanging space for clothes was limited in our room but we made it work, and everything else made up for it.

It was such a lovely place, the pool area is amazing! They have beautiful sauna on the spot and huge area for yoga/pilates… rooms were nice, they had everything you needed and also some super fancy water for drinking. You can rent motorbike through the hotel too. Brekky was amazing.

It was quite far from everything, if you like your peace, it’s perfect. But if you wanna be in Ubud, it’s like 20min drive.

I stayed in the ‘Villa with Garden View’ room, and it was stunning. I had such a lovely view, and the room was spotless – with it being cleaned everyday. The pool area was really lovely. A great number of beds. Generally, the hotel was super relaxed and never felt like it was overly busy, which was ideal and what I wanted from this place. The room had its own water container which meant I could have clean, fresh water everyday without having to leave my room – this was a real highlight. I had an outdoor shower which was super special. The hotel is not in the centre of Ubud and it took me around 20 mins by scooter to reach the centre however, I didn’t find this a problem but its worth noting.

Breakfast was included in the price of the room but I wasn’t overly blown away by the options. I wanted to do the Banya however, on the day was told it wasn’t available due to construction. It would have been good to have known this prior. Something to note is that the hotel is under going construction so there is some noise when sitting by the pool. Again, this wasn’t flagged prior to booking.

I stayed at the resort for 5 nights on my own and I loved it! My room (Apriori room) was beautiful, cosy and very clean. There is a outdoor shower, which was a nice touch! The staff was so welcoming and kind, always with the smile! The restaurant is good, only healthy options. Choice was bit limited for me as I stayed 5 days. There are a few restaurants in walking distance if you want to try something else. I booked the Russian sauna the first night (extra cost), I did a couple of yoga classes (scheduled every morning at 8am) and had massages. Perfect relaxing time! Ubud centre is located 20 minutes from the resort. I used Gojek app (similar to Uber) to book a ride and go to the city. Great app! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Ubud who's looking to relax!

The menu only has healthy options. Delicious, however, limited options for long stays.

It's a fairly new hotel/resort about 6km outside of Ubud. There is not much else around but I chose to stay here to have some time out from hectic Ubud. I also used it as a base to visit other parts of Bali. I loved the villas - there are only 14 of them so a small resort. The staff are lovely but I think you can say that for all Balinese people. They just exude happiness and gratitude. It was quiet during my stay so I had the pool area to myself. I didn't really use much of their other facilities. The massage was ok but have had better. The food was great and I did use room service as there was no other options close by.
