The best homestay in my Bali trip. , quiet, beautiful garden, good room, clean and pretty place. The owners and staff are wonderful people and take care of the place and guests. Yes, I recommend this place a special if you are looking for beautiful authentic and quiet Balinese homestay.

One thing that they need to improve is to serve vegetarian food for breakfast a specially. This not a complaint. Together we found out a solution for vegetarian options as well. And every day that I was there I had a vegetarian breakfast.

A lovely little homestay, beautifully traditionally decorated in balinese style. a little way out of ubud, but a cheap grab for 20 minutes or so and you are in the centre of ubud. It is situated in a lovely quiet little, very friendly neighbourhood with a couple of little shops within walking distance. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts aren't too bad. Although you do need to give them a time for your breakfast, and it is ready made to your specified time. Can't get fresher than that. Overall a lovely quiet place, a taxi ride from ubud centre, but this didn't really spoil anything for us

I think a small fridge in the room would make a massive difference, and also if I was to be very picky, maybe an extra pillow each

This accommodation was down a lane so it was very quiet which I liked. The exteriors of the buildings were beautiful and I really liked the doors and the gardens. I loved the pool, it was amazing as was the garden it sat within. It was so peaceful and serene. The interiors of the rooms were clean and had what we needed, I really liked the bathroom with its partially open roof. The air conditioning was really good too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of language barrier issues but that was noone's fault and we just did the best we could. The menu was basic which isn't always a bad thing and what they did have was tasty. I think this accommodation was very good value for money.

I found the bed a little harder than I like. We didn't realise when booking that it is a bit of a way out of Ubud city/town - about 30 or so minutes which isn't huge in the grand scheme of things but it meant we had to get transport rather than walk.

Beautiful part of Ubud - residential area, not tourist oriented. Indulge in local culture. Beautiful architecture. You basically feel living inside a temple. Very quiet (except morning prayers and roosters), very clean, very friendly and welcoming. Nearby (walking distance) beautiful waterfall. Beautiful and rich Balinese temple structures. Pool is big and beautiful.

For any activity in Ubud you have to calculate at least 20 min bike ride, mostly though because of terrible traffic 45-60 min.! For 6km that is very out of proportion in an European mindset and for all that beautiful Bali and this place are, it costs a lot of that energy which you just gained from relaxing! Has nothing to do with beautiful Kudesa, everything with (tourism) traffic! Still definitely recommend this place!

The best value for money. Staying in this homestay feels like staying in a traditional Bali home. The room size is quite big compared to the other places we stayed in Bali and the beds are comfy.The service is great and the place is maintained very well and clean. We stayed there for 4 days and they cleaned the room like new every day. The location is also good if you are looking somewhere away from the busy streets of Ubud but also closer to tourist attractions. The food is food and also you can find some nice Warungs in walking distance.

The wifi signal was very poor in the room we stayed in.

Everything. This place is a hidden gem. The staff are all incredible. The place is so peaceful and beautiful. The rooms are very nice and comfy. It's absolutely gorgeous there. The staff will help you with anything. Incredible friendly and homely feeling yet the staff don't intrude on you too much. The pool is really nice. The breakfast is delicious. It's close by to beautiful waterfalls and the owner even offered to drive me anywhere I wanted to visit. There is also an incredible massage place near by called Wayan Suari. I cannot recommend this place enough the massage is the best I've ever had and the woman are so so lovely. It's down a side alley near the waterfall and on their property. They are so friendly and excellent treatment and so cheap.

We love Kudesa. The place is very relaxing. We felt comfortable, very at home, the moment we arrived. The staff were exceptional. They are the best. We want to commend Putra. He was very accommodating with all our requests and queries. He knows a lot about Ubud—like great restaurants with reasonable prices. Ask him to bring you to the best Babi Guling—you won’t regret it. His assistance made our stay in Ubud a very memorable one. Also, the hotel staff: Komang, Kadek, Made and Ilu are very gracious. They are also the ones who’ll take care of your breakfast. Remember: it’s a homestay, not a luxurious hotel. It is worth every penny. If you’re in search for a quiet and relaxing place with a touch of traditional Bali, this is it.

I had a lovely stay at Kudesa. The location is handy to many of the Waterfalls . Off the main strip and the busy ness of Ubud with a few little Warungs for food and supplies, close by, if you needed anything. A lovely bonus is they have a kitchen for breakfast and dinner. They say breakfast is 7am to 10am but i noticed the staff were always accommodating for the late stragglers who slept in. The staff were amazing here. Always smiling and helpful, friendly, nothing was too much and very engaging. A big thankyou to Putra who assisted me many times with advice, and always open for a chat. This is a little oasis off the beaten track if you want to just relax by the pool and recalibrate. The bird life sounds are beautiful and you don't hear any traffic from the main road only the occasional local motor bike riding by. The rooms are clean and bathroom Bali style. I had a room with an 'open shower which I loved to be able to hear the sounds of nature and watch the kite flying in the afternoons and into the evening with their lights. So many things I'd love to emulate back in Aus when I come to Bali, but that's why I keep coming back..a little touch of Bali goes a long way.

The busyness of the streets outside the main street, you want to avoid travelling by car, in particular, at peak hour. Its a fair distance, good 30mins, from Ubud and more in peak hr.. But that's Bali now. It get busier every time I visit.

Had a wonderful time here. The staff were so very accommodating for my needs, and such kind people. On my last day, the manager heard I was walking back from a waterfall (because there’s 3 in walking distance) picked me up without request or expectations. The whole homestay is jam packed full of beautiful woodwork, and pool is perfectly temperature!!!! Good for a hot day. Thank you team 🌻

Lovely quiet place, with a great pool and surroundings. Staff is great, super sweet and always there to help you. We were always greeted with a smile! The breakfast was really, really nice. Especially the pineapple pancake! The hotel is a bit further away from Ubud so it's mandatory to rent a scooter, but the drive to the center is so much fun!

We rented a scooter, quite expensive for what we got (90K for a very old scoopy). Our room was nice, but didn't look like the ones in the photo's. Our bathroom was located outside which was sometimes scary in the dark. We were woken up around 6:30 by a lot of noise from the parking lot/reception area every morning, and there were a lot of uncovered windows in our room so there was a lot of light, also from the bathroom door (it was glass and it was a door to go outside).
