Village Vibes had a lovely feel to the place. The restaurant, the pool, the villas. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The laundry was great , our clothes smelt wonderful. The food was delicious. Breakfast was great and there was a good choice. The rooms were nicely decorated and the air con was lovely.

The pool had some issues and I think the pump was not working. But they were actively trying to fix it. When we booked it we were aware of the distance from the main town. We didn't want to be so close but we didn't realise how busy the roads would be when walking on them. A scooter rental is advisable for this journey.

Village Vibes felt like home away from home. I appreciated the common area to socialize with others over breakfast, the super friendly and accommodating staff (Dreamteam) the delicious breakfasts, the plants and landscaping of the property, the very caring and helpful Manager, the ease of scooter and board rental. It was a very welcoming and relaxing vibe. Me and my friends loved it so much we extended our stay twice and stayed 3 weeks. This is a fantastic place for a long term stay in Kuta with just a 6 minute scooter to the main strip.

Are the scooters maintained on site? For example, checked for tire air pressure and breaking etc.

The staff was lovely. There is a lot of vegetation which makes you feel you’re in the jungle.

The photos in booking.com are either from a long time ago or the photographer did a great job making the place look incredible. It currently is a lot more rundown. We had the deluxe suite and it was very dark even during the day and the bathroom is old and rusty. The breakfast is not great. I think there are better options in terms of value for money. I had a great time but I wouldn’t come back.

I personally loved this property. I stayed in a single room with a shared bathroom and it cost me £16 a night, which I think is very good considering you can get some hostels dorms for more than that in Thailand. The beds were extremely comfortable probably the most comfortable beds I slept on in my six months of travelling! The breakfast was 10 out of 10. I couldn’t believe it was included in the price.

I would say is there is a slight damp smell in the room but this says nothing about the cleanliness as it was very clean and the cleaning staff were very attentive. I stayed when the rain was really heavy and the Wi-Fi did cut out for sometimes up to 6 hours a day but I don’t think they could’ve done anything about that as it was out of their control. Unless you don’t mind a 40 minute walk into the centre of Kuta, you do need a scooter as it’s not near much but that didn’t bother me at all, in fact I liked how it felt a little secluded. It’s very easy to get to with no beaten up path!

I like the option to have a single room in a hostel budget. The sharing bathroom worked very well for when I was there. Friendly staff and tasty breakfast

The location is far. You need a motorbike. I already knew it, but flagging here just in case. Also, found the staff was friendly but not helpful. The two times I went to the reception to ask about the tours list they would provide (as it was advertised online they would help with that) I was received very vague information and it seemed the ladies didn't know stuff or it was language barrier (didn't feel the Lady was fluent in English). It was confusing that I just ended up checking on my own

Everything was perfect for our stay at Villlage Vibes. Yanti and all other staff were very helpful and accommodating for any request. Prices for scooters, meals and laundry the same as in town, also very convenient. Breakfast is yummy. We extended an extra night and received a free upgrade as we had to change rooms, it was a very nice surprise for us. We had scooters to get to town, even still it was close enough to walk if you don't have your own transport. The hotel gardens are gorgeous and the vibe is absolutely relaxing, everything is excellently maintained and the pool is lovely. Nice to have filtered water provided in rooms and to refill water bottles as well, this is a great added extra. We would absolutely stay again. Thank you Village Vibes for a wonderful stay.

If you're after peace and quiet then this is the perfect place. There's not much happening here, it is socially very quiet. I chose it as there are six single rooms for single travellers. At the age of fifty eight I didn't feel like trying the hostel option and single travelers are so often financially penalised for booking a double room. So this option was very much appreciated. The rooms are tiny but are comfortable and clean. There are also some individual, wood double cabins, which look lovely. The staff are very helpful and their simple breakfast menu tasty. The pancake was the best I had in Indonesia. The communal spaces have been nicely thought-out, with a small but pretty courtyard garden and pool. The designers have managed to cram a lot into a very small plot, so it doesn't have the spacious feel of other places with bigger gardens, but overall a nice place.

Sadly a practice I discovered on day three here. They fumigate the entire outside area with a very noxious smelling chemical spray to kill the mosquitos. I accept that this is for the benefit of us travellers but I wonder if it targets all small insects in the vicinity and maybe gekhos and the like too? As a concerned citizen for the environment I feel conflicted on this, as it was appreciated not to contend with the mosquitos!

My stay at Village Vibes Lombok was peaceful, and the staff was very helpful. The room was clean and exactly as expected, and the same goes for the shared bathroom. I also really enjoyed the tasty food.

Village Vibes Lombok is a bit far from Kuta center (about a 20–25 minute walk), but that was exactly what I was looking for. The best way to explore the area is by renting a scooter, which I did directly from Village Vibes Lombok.

Breakfast was amazing! There were many spots to be comfy, around the pool, in the restaurant, at your room, the room was VERY cosy and as solo stayer I felt very safe. Staff were amazing and very friendly. The room was very well thought out, there are even universal power points with USB slots which is a very nice touch. In all I would definately stay again, room amazing, breakfast amazing, I felt very comfortable and safe.

I think on my bedroom door there was a square of frosted glass, felt very private and secure inside but can let in some light from the shared bathroom, maybe a little curtain for that glass could be a great little addition. My only other suggestion, because I hope in my dreams for when I come back and stay in the future ;) maybe the single rooms could have a hammock (maybe the lower floors between the posts?) Not a negative, just a hope for my next stay :) :)

Very cute property that caters to Western aesthetic. Kind and helpful staff, and good restaurant onsite. Great place for solo female travellers who want a quiet spot to rest. The all day supply of free Lombok coffee that you make yourself was a nice touch. Also enjoyed having oatmeal as an option for the included breakfast!

On a street that is very quiet and dark at night. Plan to eat dinner at the property if you don’t have a motorbike, or you can visit the Tomato Warung across the street for something simple.
