Beautiful place. Room was very nice and clean, great location, delicious breakfast and restaurant on-site (they can deliver your order to you wherever you are in the hotel). Loved the pool too. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, helped us organize a tour of the temples & tickets for ballet

No windows in the room so it was often very humid inside. My swimsuit took 3 days to dry. Also if you want your sheets changed, you have to ask directly because they don't do ut when you put up the sign to make the room

The place looks great : patio, swimming pool, bedrooms, everything is well decorated and feels relaxing and cocooning. Well located near cute streets and far from the noisy town center. Bed was comfy, food was cheap and good (their restaurant on the side) and staff was welcoming.

My bathroom wasn’t renovated at all. So it didn’t look like the pictures. It’s fine no big deal, the shower worked well so that’s the essential 🙂 You can hear the prayers prettt strong so bring ear plugs and you will be fine ! Real only downside to me : they let children (and people) be super loud in the swimming pool. Worst was definitely children. They would not say anything even though they kept screaming and jumping. As there is no noise insultation at all you will hear pretty loud and that was annoying. Please tell people to be more respectful of other guests, it’s depriving them from enjoying a quiet and peaceful rest.

The hotel is very well designed and its decor is very tasteful. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and being able to sit in various seating groups around the ground floor to relax. The brd was super comfortable. I stayed in a superior room on tge upper floor which looked lovely. It was lacking space/awardrobe to stow luggage, though, which is why left my luggage on the floor in the corner. The room provided well-eorking aircon, tv, kettle, complimentary tea/coffee/water and good wifi. There was no hairdryer but it could be borrowed from the reception desk. Breakfast took place in a beautiful well-lit room and offered different options from 7-20am. The staff in all departments was really friendly and helpful.

The window doors towards the pool were rattling and not noise insulated so that you could hear quite a bit of conversations held in the corridor.

I recently stayed at Adhisthana Hotel with a group of friends (10 of us in total), and we had an absolutely wonderful time. The hotel boasts a nice interior, creating a cosy and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The staff at Adhistana were exceptionally attentive, catering to our every need with a smile. Their friendly and professional demeanor truly enhanced our stay, making it all the more memorable. The location of the hotel is strategic, offering easy access to key attractions and conveniences. We found it very convenient for exploring the area. Moreover, the food served at the hotel was delicious, with a variety of options that satisfied all of our palates. We all left the hotel with happy memories and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We look forward to returning in the future!

During our stay, we noticed that the swimming pool services start quite early at 6 AM. While we appreciate the effort to maintain and service the pool, the early timing was disruptive as many guests, including us, were still sleeping. The noise made it difficult to enjoy a restful morning. I would like to recommend rescheduling the pool maintenance to a later time slot to avoid disturbing guests who are still resting. This adjustment would greatly enhance the overall guest experience and allow everyone to fully enjoy the wonderful amenities your hotel has to offer.

Nice hotel, pool and communal areas are really lovely. Friendly staff, nice rooms. Nice quiet location with some good restaurants close by.

Lack of storage in the rooms. The only place to put anything (clothes etc.) is in the bathroom (however, this is clear from the photos when booking), but the bathroom is damp and a bit mouldy. I can see that the cleaners do thoroughly air out all the rooms before guests arrive though. Most rooms look onto the pool area which was very noisy with families in it from 6.30/7am onwards.

Ambience, location, the aesthetic and the staffs.

There is no lift in this hotel. For a family with small kids, if u have baby stroller when ure room at 1st/2nd floor that will be a pain. Breakfast menu options is very limited.

I stayed in the hotel only for 2 nights with my boyfriend and we had a room on the upper floor. The room met our expectations: quite clean, comfy beds, kettle & complimentary water. The only “window” in the room is actually the glass doors, but that’s ok. The hotel stuff is really helpful. They helped with the transfers from train stations, to the airport and also helped with the driver for the whole day. The hotel doesn’t have spa, but you can get a masseuse to your room (additional charge). Breakfast was also quite good: eggs of different kind, waffles, rice/fried rice, Indonesian soups, cooked veggies etc (but no cold cuts). There are also coffee places, restaurants and cafes around the hotel in the nearby street, so if the food in the hotel doesn’t meet your expectations, I think you can find smth around the corner.

What we really liked was that if you booked a room on the ground floor it would remain cool through out the day even though the airco would be off. The pool was also nice. The location was also really good, it was right in between a few good restaurants where we went to multiple times. Across the street there is also a local tour operator which is really nice so we definitely recommend going there.

It is not allowed to smoke in the hotelrooms, however there were multiple guests smoking in their rooms, the airvents are connected however so we got all the smoke in our room. The staff solved this by changing our room to the upper floor it fixed the problem, but the people smoking didnt get a warning so far we have noticed. The rooms are not very sound proof so if you have the room next to the "living area" you may experience some noise when people are chatting there when you are trying to sleep.

The staff were so friendly and generous. They really helped us with everything we needed (a huge thank you). The hotel could not be in a better position - in the heart of the tourist area of Jogja and close to a lot of art, great food options and near the city centre - whilst also offering a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle. We loved our stay here and will absolutely stay here again when we return to Jogja!

Despite its worn shutter exterior appearance, inside is lovely with a comfortable lounge seating area. The staff were also lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was included, and although a limited selection was adequate. There are some nice cafés in the area and we would recommend ViaVia resto in the next street. ViaVia also has a tour business for those temple trips, which we also recommend. Our room was clean, as was the bed linen. There is a cafe within the hotel that provides decent meals, snacks, and drinks, which can be ordered online using the table QR code. A pleasant stay in Jogja.

Call to prayer can be annoying 5 times per day starting a 03:30 with the speakers being so close to the front of the hotel . Also, to close the bedroom door quietly when you exit, you need to use the key card to operate the door handle outside. Many guests chose to simply keep slamming the door until shut. Very annoying.
