Loved the whole vibe. The staff were extremely helpful and were able to speak good English. The room size was good for the price. The buffet was excellent with many indonesian dishes to try. The massage was good too, we got a 20% discount. The location is a little far from airport (about 1.5hours travel) but close to Malioboro street. There are many restaurants and cafes within walking distance. We stayed for 4 days, housekeeping was done everyday. They even provided two types of indonesian snacks as welcome gift. We tried the ala cart dishes for lunch at their restaurant, food was well-prepared too and priced quite affordable.

There was an odour from the toilet bowl. Had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times.

For a start, I must mention the staff that was very courteous and responsive from the booking stage months before, and their assistance and smiles in the hotel itself. The rooms were really nice and so was the pool. A great plus was the filtered water jug in the hallway which you could use to refill your personal bottles. Breakfast was fantastic with a vast variety of food, including eggs made to your liking and pancakes. We prearranged a hotel pickup from the airport, and a driver to visit Borobudur and Prambanan. We really enjoyed the stay here.

This has nothing to do with the hotel! We found it difficult to walk around the hotel area and Yogyakarta in general due to the lack of sidewalks...

Super friendly reception staff, which helped in organizing a daytrip to the temples. The driver for that tour, also from the hotel, was excellent. Rooms were nice, the gym was also fine, and the pool looked nice (we didnt use it though).

Breakfast was great, but maybe not fantastic. And the staff at the restaurant/breakfast were not so well trained, which made for some clumsy/awkward moments when they (probably strictly following manager instructions) insisted to remove any plates on our table even though we hadnt finished eating. Rather comical than annoying, but a small potential for improvement

Everything from check in to check out was flawless. The staff were all wonderful and incredibly helpful. Front desk team always greeted us and provided helpful information for visiting local sites. Restaurant staff were attentive and even helped us to prepare soto ayam. The water gallons in the common areas were a welcome sight so we could refill our bottles without contributing to Indonesia’s plastic waste problems. The hotel itself is very nice and we loved the courtyard and gardens, gallery and viewpoint from the top floor, and everything was cleaned and maintained well. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including Indonesian food and western food, pastries, cereals, salad bar… and the selection was different each morning which was nice. The location is also good with plenty of food and shopping options in walking distance. We enjoyed the walk to Malioboro with the Sultan’s palace on the way. 10/10 would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Jogja.

I really enjoy staying at this hotel. I would give it a 9.5 rating overall. I have stayed here before. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious with good, comfortable beds and small refrigerators and safes. The bathrooms were also clean and good sized with great showers..Two bottles of free water were provided each day. The buffet breakfast is amazing,, especially for a hotel in this price range. Location is very good.

The nearby mosque was having some kind of program that they were continuously using the loudspeakers from 4:00am to after 6:00 am that made it very difficult to sleep if your room was on the city side, which mine was. I know this was not something that the hotel can control and they were unable to tell me what the occasion was or how long it would continue.. I would definitely stay here again but want to stay on the mountain side as a precaution.

One of the best hotels I stayed at in Java. Stayed 4 nights and was reluctant to leave. Stuff was friendly and it was nice to get a welcome drink and some welcome snacks in the room. Nice swimming pool with a garden. Excellent breakfast, with a choice of Western/Indonesian dishes and fruit. Relaxing massage in the hotel spa was very nice. Laundry service was quick and reliable. There are some nice cafes around.

A bit far from the tourist sites (like the Kraton, Water Castle) and the train station, and it's not a nice walk to the city center, but Grab worked well. I hesitated to book this hotel because of its location away from the center, but I don't regret it as the hotel itself was very nice. I could hear the prayer call in early morning, but it was at a distance and didn't have a significant impact on my sleep.

All the staff is very friendly and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The hotel offers a nice breakfast but it has limited options for vegetarians. The location of the hotel is nice as one street above you can find a lot of coffee shops and restaurants that have a lot of vegetarian / vegan options and clearly address tourists. The hotel can organize you different tours at moderate prices.

The location of the hotel and the coffee street itself is quite far from the rest of the city (like Malioboro road). Therefore to visit things you need a taxi. The breakfast could include more vegetarian options.

The hotel has an appealing look and feel to it. The rooms are very comfortable. It is worth noting that a narrow passageway opposite the hotel leads to a street with interesting shops and restaurants. In the other direction is a clean indoor market full of exotic fruit and spices over 3 levels. I recommend using insect repellant when walking around in Yugyakarta.

The advance booking system for trips to Borobudur did not work for me because the link given to me to book an entry ticket to the temple only had late-morning options. The hotel staff are excellent but their English was insufficient to resolve the misunderstanding by email. Apparently tour operators snap up all the early tickets.

We booked two rooms and had a perfect stay. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was very good. The whole team was kind and helpful, and everyone was attentive to our needs. A special mention goes to Siti, a staff member in the restaurant, who was always attentive, friendly, and working with a warm smile. She made us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

Highlights: - the pool area is beautiful - the staff were very lovely and were trying their best to help us with all questions

Things to improve: - the room was nice, but you could see it a bit rusty at some parts. We had the cheapest category though, so it was okay - Coffee at breakfast was really not good, very sad in a country with so much good coffee 😅 - vegetarian option for breakfast could be improved but were absolutely fine
