The room was pretty basic, but has all what you need for few days. It was very clean, and staff were very friendly. Hotel is located in a small, quiet street, but literally just few steps from a street with many bars, cafes, laundry, etc. (but still not a main street with lots of traffic typical for city of Yogya). Overall it’s a very cozy setup, I really liked it!

Some basics like shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom would be nice. The bathroom was in general not so nice and having a very tiny lavatory. Also, there is seemingly no sound insulation, so you’ll hear every step from outside. But that seems to be a general issue in Indonesia, even in more expensive places.

The location is very cosy. It's relatively far from the train station and the Malioboro street, but convenient and in the vicinity of many restaurants, those frequented mostly by westerners, as well as those more focused to the locals, both appealing. Staff is welcoming and smiley. Complimentary coffee and tea as well as tables where guests can eat their own meals with the food brought from outside is appreciated. Bed is comfortable.

There is absolutely no soundproof. If you are a lightsleeper, simply avoid this place. The only window (in my room, and I'd say in most of the others as well) was the one to the inner yard, where cheerful fellow vacationers scream, laugh, chat or just pass by and all this can really get annoying. The muezzins'' calls at 4:30 from many mosques in the vicinity, will make sure no one misses the morning prayer time, especially guests of the soundprofless rooms at Aloha hotel. 2.5% charge on card payment, usual, but always annoying.

One feels seen and cared for. ❤️ Very good management with attention to details Perfect Cleanliness Located in a quiet alley yet very accessible I appreciated the help and guidance for excursions plans and general travel tips. I loved the courtyard garden with the plants and water. It’s a non smoking hotel which it is nice and there is no noise from the other rooms either. I booked for three nights and needing to recover from jet lag I ended up staying two extra nights.

I would recommend adding I small lamp next to the bed in order to be able to read at night. But that’s just a detail. A mattress topper to avoid feeling the springs. But I will admit I’m a bit sensitive on that aspect and it would probably not bother any other traveler.

Everything was amazing. The staff in the hotel are extremely helpful. They helped us with everything we asked for: driver to the airport, driver to prambanan and borobudur, say us where to do laundry… The driver we had to go to the temples was amazing and the best excursion we did in indonesia. The location of the appartment is great. A lot of bars and restaurant around but the street of the hotel is quiet. The rooms are really clean and with air conditionate. I really recommend to stay in Aloha!!! Thanks :)

Everything was good. The only suggestion I could give is maybe to have liquid soap? But nothing bad to say :)

I liked everything about this place. Staff is extremely helpful friendly and kind. They are very respectful all the time. They even gave me some foreign coins for my collection knowing that Im collecting them. Room was very comfortable and clean. This place has a homely feeling. There are restaurants, supermarkets and self service laundries in short walk. There is a dining area that we can bring food and eat there.

There is nothing like that. Little far from city so you have to take a taxi always. But its easy to find bike or car.

I had a fantastic stay here. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent — quiet and just off the main street, yet within walking distance to plenty of great cafés and restaurants. The room is basic but has everything you need, and it’s cleaned daily. There’s a fridge downstairs for keeping drinks and food cold, plus hot water and supplies for tea and coffee. For the price, it’s outstanding value. Highly recommended.

No kettle in the room or fridge. The younger girl who books everything isn't very good or very friendly. Gave bad tourist information. She Said it takes 2 hours to get to the airport. So we were up at 3 am. I only took 40 minutes to the airport. So if you are flying at 7 am no need to get a transfer until about 5 am. Arrange to our own tours and transfers. Reluctant to arrange airport pickup when it was requested. No smoking area.

Great value for money! The property is well taken care of, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, from the minute I arrived until the morning I left. My room was massive, even with an extra sofa. There's is free tea and coffee in the lobby. I liked the location - close to several good restaurants & bars on Prawirotaman Street. It's easy to get anywhere in the city via moto taxi / cab. Would definitely stay here again.

A chair for the desk would've been nice.

A very nice hotel in a cozy area in a quiet side street, close to nice bars and restaurants, supermarkets, an artesian bakery and small art shops. It is the nicest area and place to stay that we have seen while being in Yogyakarta. A great mix between local vibe and traveler's needs close by. If you like authentic, clean and comfortable places, this will be your type of accommodation. We travel a lot and always look for cozy and kind places where you feel comfortable and welcome. Rita and her staff are extremely kind and helpful and go the extra mile for their guests. They give you helpful and honest advice for your trips and anything else you need, such as the best money exchange place, close by gym and you can even rent a motorbike directly with Aloha, which is comfortable and they have good prices. They can also organise and book your excursions for you if you want. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. The bigger rooms with more natural light and balcony are upstairs, while the smaller rooms with garden view are on the ground floor. We prefer the room on the ground floor, because you can easily access it and don't need to walk any stairs. Super happy to have found this very nice accommodation. 100% recommended. Location, kindness of the staff and tidyness. Close to a lively area of restaurants and bars. We walked yo the Sultan's Palace in half an hour.

Little water pressure in the shower but just a minor issue.
