I had a private room, it is very spartan, no windows. Pretty gloomy and dark, but I guess you get what you pay for... Nonetheless, this place is great to meet other travelers, specially if traveling solo. I felt very welcome and I really enjoyed spending time with the people I met there. The shared areas are nice, swimming pool looks good and there is always someone around the table ready for a chat. Friendly hosts. Nice location, 10min walk from the “hipster” student area with cool restaurants (try Via Via!)

Private rooms could get a new coat of paint and bathroom would profit from a makeover (there was a water leak in mine). With some investment, this place could be a 10 :)

The best home stay we have eve stayed at! Arjuna is a beautiful property that fosters a great environment to relax and meet other travelers. A pool, comfy beds, lots of places to relax and we had a great time with travelers and the host and her whole family! Highly recommended for any staying in Yogyakarta

WiFi single was a little weak in our room, but was good in the common areas

i suggest the bottom mattress near the door to the bathroom is installed with a curtain so that it is not visible

As our taxi pulled up, the owner/manager Chi-Chi came out to greet us with huge warmth and friendliness (and helped the driver with change). For the few days we were there we met and spoke with other lovely travellers and our kids spent hours playing in the pool with Chi-Chi's amazing young children. All 5 of us agree this was an absolute highlight of our 5 week trip. Thank you Chi-Chi, you're amazing.

Amazing staff, good location, plenty of information not only about Yogya and Jawa but also about other islands. Guys do offer various tours, did book a Bromo-Ijen tour, strongly recommend. Special thanks to Eka, it was an awesome stay!

Parking for cars not as ideal but we can manage, the rooms can be improved in terms of feels, maybe add in a little potpourri to make them more comfortable, but they're clean though

Gigi and the family are super open and friendly. It was a very familiar atmosphere in which you can easily talk to each other and spend some time together if you want. You can also rent a scooter and the breakfast every morning was delicious. Thank you so much, i wish you all the best!

Surprisingly very homey and the staffs were very helpful; warm and attentive…We could meet and mingle with other guest while having breakfast together…Breakfast are affordable and delicious…Free coffe; tea and water…The room was ok and the aircon was great…The location is very strategic to get some food; mini markets; laundry and cafes…

The parking space is very limited since there are 3 different hostel altogether…Unfortunately the water in our bathroom was very poor so we found it a bit difficult to take a shower…

The hosts Cici and Eka were the best. It was fun getting to know them. They make you feel at home when you arrive there. The place feels very relaxing and homey. Cici and Eka were very approachable and you could ask them about anything about Jogja. Eka especially gave me some great recommendations on where to go around the city. The room was bigger than I expected, and the bed was clean and comfortable. The toilet was clean. I liked that there were different places to sit and chill outside the room. Overall a recommended place to stay on a budget, as you would be getting more for what you paid.

The wifi in the room could be better. The strongest connectivity was outside in the rest area. But it was not something major.

It’s a family place with kids running around and always in a good mood. They helped me with everything I needed - tours, useful tips for other parts of Indonesia, and even recharge my SIM card that went out of data just before my departure. The place is simple but clean and cozy.
