Well located next to Jl.Malioboro. Not very spacious but clean lobby and comfortable rooms, good laundry service. Breakfast buffet is very good with a lot of choice. Friendly staff. Direct access to the shopping mall.

Smoking should not be allowed in the restaurant terrace and there is not enough space in the morning at breakfast. And the nearby mosque will wake you up a sunrise around 4:30am.

I like the location a lot, hence I pick the hotel. I read the review and more great than not. Even though I only stay for one night it was better than the 2 hotels I stayed in the area. Water pressure is great! Hot water great! I find this really important! Bed & pillows are comfy! Lots of breakfast variety, and fresh egg station! also important for someone like me who doesn't eat heavy Indonesian food for breakfast :) the only thing I would like to add is a proper coffee machine to make cappuccino, long black, latte etc at the breakfast place.

I chose to stay at the Malayabhara hotel because of its strategic location, the staff is very friendly and always helpful, easy access, close to Malioboro, and their breakfast menu is very varied and my children really like it. Large room and ensuite. Great location

First night we couldn't get a light to turn off. Ended up calling front desk and they sent someone with a ladder...it had to be manually switched off and their was no switch! Kinda strange given the price of the establishment.

The friendliness of staff..

The door of the shower cubicle of our Room 229 is not functioning well. Water flows out through the bottom of the door glass pane. Corrective measure is to be taken. The bed by the window is too soft. Possibly also the springs of the mattress have given way, as they poked my body at times. Please check.

We chose this hotel because of the location in Malioboro. Obviously we like the location although we ended up not exploring the neighbourhood due to our schedule. Room has basic amenities, we like the room style.

Pool is very small and with one or two people swimming, it becomes challenging and unpleasant to swim. We arrived late evening and disappointed that room service ends at 22:00? So we had to go out for dinner and it was raining so not particularly nice experience.

Hotel is placed at the heart of malioboro. Easy access to basically anywhere. Great experience. The staff was way excellent. Top tier service.

They charge the room fee and deposit from my credit card when I check in. But can't refund my deposit when I check out. I'm still waiting for they refund the deposit to my card. Don't khow when will they do the refund.
