The location at the centre of Malioboro and so close to everywhere (e.g. eatery, art/merchandise/souvenirs shops and it's literally next to Malioboro Mall). We had quiet, spacious, modern and clean rooms and comfortable beds. Morning breakfast was great (I love gudeg, porridges, cakes, puddings and all the patisseries). Friendly & helpful receptionist and back-end staffs (big thanks for expedited our laundries on our last day stay). Complementary room amenities & drinks. I will definitely recommend this hotel & will book again if I visit Jogja in the future.

The small street (to reach the hotel entrance) next to hotel occasionally had strange odor. Our room's pass worked intermittently (I should have asked replacement but I didn't)..

Property was in a strategic location. Easy to walk around w/o any problems. Check in was a breeze. Check out was slow. Room is very clean, spacious & cozy. Swimming pool is decent. Any Communication done is thru wtsapp. Overall stay was good but can be better

- NEED TO IMPROVE ON THE CONDITION OF THEIR TOWELS. Old towels and when it’s wet, it smells. The towels don’t smell fresh. - Toilet water flow is slow & weak. - Price paid for breakfast, overpriced. Food choice ok only (Basic). Nothing special. - Extra towel is charged at IDR 50,000 per night.

Aveta is totally underrated for a 3 star hotel. It's interior is exceptionally clean & classy (do not get fooled by how it looks from the outside) Staffs were helpful & friendly to guests & prompt to assist. Was very impressed Kudos! Rooms were spacious. Beds were extremely comfy and pillows came with two choices of comfortness (soft & slight more support). Had a water dispenser in our rooms (hot, room temp. cold) & one of our rooms even have a Nescafe Expresso machine! Being just along the famous Malioboro street means you are just steps away from Malioboro Mall and other amenities e.g pharmacy, convenience store. Didn't have much of a view from the rooms but doesn't really bother us much since our mornings & afternoons are packed with activities around Yogyakarta.

Due to peak season, I didn't get a proper ironing board (but I got an iron).

The hotel is very close to shops and malls. The staff were really helpful, respectful and always served with a smile, they have a very hardworking room boy who was always doing a good job cleaning and housekeeping our room. Our star rate are dedicated to all the staff of aveta hotel. Great location for me to get grab food and grab car. The hotel facilities are very clean. Breakfast was superb, me and my family enjoyed all their food while staying at this hotel. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay for me and my family at aveta. If i ever come to jogja again, aveta hotel will be my first choice.

Nicely located at Jl Malioboro. Nice swimming pool. Friendly staff. Good breakfast with ample western and Asian options.

-Construction work was ongoing next to the swimming pool, so you could use the pool, but with a lot of noise around -If you book a triple room for 4 people, the price does not include the extra bed. So we had to pay extra at the check-in, which was equal to an upgrade to a suite, which happens to become last-minute available. So we switched and loved the suite.

7 nights in Aveta hotel Malioboro is the best ever holiday's experience we had in Yogjakarta.. the moment you step in the 🏨 terasa Adem sekali.. walau entranceway hanya few step away from the heart of Jalan Malioboro yang asyik sesak padat..we stayed in a deluxe famili room and a deluxe room with balcony tapi awas!! the food's 👍tapi yang paling seruu is a herb drink (kunir asem) 🌿 freshly prepared everyday from Kala Jumpa cafe.. staff room sevice yang manis dan menyikapi dan melayani kami dengan baik sekali.. truly friendly staff will attend you anytime of the day if you need help or ask for anything.. Aveta Hotel is already on our bucket list for our next trip to yogjakarta..❤️ Dieng

Hmm, there's not much to complain about, that the bathroom doesn't have a bidet.. maaf ya ini cuma suggestion atau saran.. it would be convenient if at least a simple bidet is fixed in the bathroom.. thank you Aveta

I stayed in the Premier Malioboro with View and other members of my party stayed in the family triple room. The room with a view was superb the balcony looked out onto a side street and there was a small tourism police station manned by an officer during the day. Although the hotel is in the centre of the city, I did not experience any problems with noise during the night – I did not retire to bed until just after midnight. The air conditioning was very good. The girls enjoyed the swimming pool on the roof top and we made friends with a couple from the Netherlands there.

Be aware of a nearby art exhibition SCAM where you may be offered a spiked drink. The girls fell for this but I did not so we got away. Also, Malioboro street is closed in the evening to traffic including taxi’s so if you go out at night you may have a short walk to get back to the hotel.

Location was right smack in the middle of Malioboro street action. It can be noisy but our request for a higher floor was fulfilled. Very friendly staff, and breakfast was delicious and sufficient. Food ordered for room service came hot and quite fast. The family quadruple room had access to Netflix and YouTube. Last time when we stayed at Triple room, had no window and no such access, but it was ok as we were out sight-seeing most of the time.

The shampoo and bath gel had a weird chemical smell. WiFi was also sporadic.

This hotel was an amazing location in prime area of Malioboro With access to great shopping, the market, sites and restaurants. Room was very comfortable and even though right in the middle of everything, very quiet at night. It is a typical free breakfast at a big hotel, where it’s luke warm at best and not that great. But you’re staying at this place for the location not for the free breakfast. We also did a walk food tour in the evening, which is a must to experience the real culture! And I would stay there again!

Don't want to nit-pick but on one day over the long weekend the breakfast buffet was not replenished. It happened once in 6 days and there were many guests. The window in the dining room had lots of children's handprints on it and I was the first person at breakfast so they must have been there a while. Most frustrating, I needed to extend my stay and the hotel refused to match the Booking.com price at reception. I duly booked on line at a lower price. The kind of illogical behavior I find annoying.
