Very nice nice place with a typical Javanese style! You're totally immersed in the culture and you will be warmly welcomed by the host. They offered us a cup of tea on our arrival and they also lent us umbrellas when it was raining. You can have a very good breakfast/brunch 5 min walk (Sapulu coffee) from the homestay

The only reason why I didn't rate it with a 5 stars is because of the noises from the Mosquee and the roosters near the hotel that interrupt your sleep. I woke up 2 nights at 4:30 am because of that.

We loved staying in this authentic Javanese home enjoying the hospitality of a very gracious hostess and the chance to meet local guests. Nothing like sitting in a covered verandah enjoying a tropical Javanese evening. For a little extra she made us a beautiful breakfast with freshly squeezed fruit juices and great coffee. Easy Grab ride to excellent restaurants and city centre. Take time away from hotels for a special Javanese experience.

I recently stayed at this beautiful colonial hotel and was truly enchanted. The vintage furniture and exquisite decorations created an atmosphere that felt like stepping into a museum. This beautiful place is for the ones who appreciate authentic javanese culture. if you look for big hotels luxuty..this is not the place. It has a special javanese style. .

Friendly and helpful owner. Can brew tea or coffee if asked. Localization is good for tourists. House looks very good compared to the neighborhood, but it is old and you can see it. Lots of chickens, pigeons and cats that can wake you up but overall good place for few nights. I really liked traditional furniture. Can recommend.

Beautiful house with nice furniture in traditional style a peaceful terrace. Nice host. Perfect location for visiting the city, many cute restaurants nearby.

The bathroom was very basic and very small. The mosque was right besides the room and very loud. The bathroom window couldn't properly be closed, so a lot of mosquitos came in.

Very good host. Feeling warm welcome. Offering welcome coffee at the front of yard (on the photo), eating breakfast in their salon is even feeling like as “nobility family”. House is old, wall is thin, shower system is old, YET very nice precious old house. Love the atmosphere. In the middle of town. Feeling local. (And price too. Appreciated)

Very authentic old java culture Hause , very green cozy and beautiful architecture.Nice and kind personal who work at that house , was really nice stay with my family. Sure will. Be back again when in Yogyakarta:)

Super friendly host and super comfortable stay. I bothered them quite frequently for help, and they always response immediately and solve the problem rapidly. Feel like at home, but I can't really afford such a luxury home:) Highly recommend!

Authentic villa in style & colors of the Yogya sultan palace, filled with original furniture. Very friendly lady of the house gave us afternoon coffee and breakfast and helped with the theater performances etc. Highly recommended.
