We enjoyed the salt water and sweet water pools at the Synergy spa and liked the soft, relaxing music. The food was very good. The scenery was magnificent and it was nice to stroll around the kibbutz. The last night, there was a large lizard in our room. After the staff couldn't trap it, they quickly arranged for us to move to another room and were very nice about it. Service in the dining room was excellent.

Tissues in the room would be nice. We walked to the kibbutz makolet to buy some! Towels were a bit thin for such an expensive hotel. Even though the temperature was quite warm already the large outdoor hotel pool was still closed. The mattress pad didn't quite cover the mattress all around and the blanket wasn't quite large enough for the bed.

The peace and the quite.

1. Cleanliness – Our bathroom was unclean upon check-in. 2. Spa Service – A receptionist refused to provide my partner with a bathrobe, claiming guests must bring their own from the room. She also made an inappropriate remark: "Are you too lazy to get it?" Later, she insisted it was a "mistake" that we received robes earlier and claimed they were out of stock. Only after a lengthy discussion did she reluctantly provide one. The inconsistency and lack of professionalism were disappointing. I hope the hotel improves its service standards.

Location, location, location. The hotel is located on the verge of a nature reserve, within a botanical garden. It is a huge privilege to wake up to views of Arugot river bed and the dead sea. The spa is very good, rooms clean and pretty, breakfast is great. A great place for relaxing and recharging.

Not their fault - but the Ein Gedi beach is unsafe and going to the dead sea requires an half hour drive. That said, the spa has a small dead sea water pool which is wonderful.

Ein Gedi is a fantastic location from where to explore the surrounding area. The Kibbutz is lovely, the Hotel offers a charming glimpse of kibbutz life, and the Spa is highly recommended. Service is good, staff are friendly and accommodating, and prices are reasonable. Dinner (a hearty open buffet affair) and breakfast (which saved our lives after hiking up Masada before sunrise) are taken in the kibbutz dining hall, and give a homey feeling of being part of the community. Saturday arrivals can only check in late afternoon. We planned our day around this with arriving from Jaffa around noon, first visiting the Dead Sea at Ein Bokek and then spending the rest of the afternoon at the Spa with massages, wine and dipping in the pool. As such our check-in was timed perfectly, but it might be a niggle if you don't plan around this.

The room and bathroom were fine; breakfast was excellent; the spa exceeded my expectations.

I would have liked at least two pillows to be less bulky. The garden of the spa would be better without any music, thus allowing clients to listen to the birds singing. It is a pity the thermal warm water baths and the beach by the Dead Sea have been closed; Ein Gedi Kibbutz-hotel should consider reopening them, as they used to be their best attraction.

The hotel surroundings is very beautiful, and nice to stroll around, also for kids. There are facilities and activities for kids

Food is not so great to say the least. (my son said he liked it) My son has celiac and while the staff was friendly and try to help, I would expect better solutions (get us food from within the kitchen to avoid cross contamination, tagging food aa gluten free etc)

The kibbutz hotel is exceptional in its beautiful surrounding and in its very unique kibbutz atmosphere that one can feel. Kibbutz members really care about this place and the combination of simplicity with the investment in the beauty of the gardens makes it very special.

The food in the bar could be better. The alternative is to bring your own food since rooms have refrigerators.

Great location by the Ein gedi national park and beautiful surrounding nature with views of the Dead Sea. The hotel itself is in a nice garden, very quiet, the spa is great to relax after a full day hiking. The rooms are nice but a bit old, some improvements could be made for the bathrooms. For the price I was expecting a better breakfast, it was quite basic.

nature, cleanliness, breakfast at the highest level. restaurant with dairy cuisine, incredibly fresh and tasty dishes, quickly prepared, freshly squeezed orange juice. nuts and dates in the room for free. amazing trees and silence.

A spoon is not served with salad unless it is placed separately on a plate. Milk restaurant.
