This place is like stepping into a fairytale! There’s beauty in every corner. The room we had was absolutely stunning with a great east facing garden view and the sunrise was amazing to see from our windows. The bed was super comfortable even for a 6 months pregnant woman with a lot of pain from sciatica. So I would highly recommend the location and facilities. We had the most abundant breakfast with lots of choices ( again, very easy to get optimal nutrition even for a diabetic pregnant woman) and finally the pool was amazing even in mid September weather. Some days were 31 degrees outside and 24-25 degrees in the water so a perfectly good water to swim in and get refreshed from the Tuscan heat. Finally, the host, Barbara was an adorable very elegant woman with a big heart cause she took care of all of our needs and was very thoughtful throughout our 4 nights stay to help us have an amazing babymoon holiday.

There’s a bit of charm that this old property has so the shower was not ideally cleaned from calcium deposits so we only used the small hand shower because the rain shower was not pouring straight anymore. But it was easy to solve.

We were greeted by a young woman who handled the check-in briefly and without much interest. The room we were assigned was in the attic, and it was practically uninhabitable — the ceiling was barely 160 cm high in most of the space, even lower in places. The furniture was old and worn, and the whole atmosphere felt rather claustrophobic. I would not recommend it. After we raised our concerns, the owner herself stepped in and moved us to a spacious two-level apartment, which was excellent, and she was exceptionally kind and attentive.

The place is beautiful, the breakfast amazing and the staff is very friendly. We stayed here 1 night and after we went to Firenze and when we arrived at our hotel in Firenze we wished we would go back to this place. We have travelled a lot as a couple but this was probably 1 of the nicer/cozier places we have ever been to. If we are back in this part of Tuscany we will for sure stay here again! Highly recommended.

The property was a beautiful villa with a beautiful view to the tuscan valley

I didn’t like the fact that when we stayed it was a pouring rain for like 1 hour in the early afternoon, after that the pool area was a bit messy, even with chains inside the pool. Nobody from the hotel cared to clean it so the guest could enjoy the pool since it was still the sun out.

favorite place to stay in tuscany. This was my thrid time staying at the location. Barbara and her family are excellent hosts! Great place to stay that's outside Florence and accessible to the greater tuscan area without being cramped in the city. delicious breakfast. accommodating hosts.

The proximity to The Mall Firenze (5min drive), the house villa ambience, the parking of my car inside the villa ! The romantic old style of the Villa.

Nothing important to mention. Just if you have luggage due to lack of elevator you need to use the stairs, but thats expected when you pick a villa style to stay.

The property is well landscaped. The room was nice, it was cleaned every day. The breakfast was plentiful - they can prepare eggs at your request, there is a buffet with cold meats, cheese, sweet pastry, croissants, pancakes, fruit, yogurt and other. The pool looked really nice but unfortunately it was too cold to swim in it.

Check-in. When we arrived and rang the bell outside the gate, no one answered. Then we came back 15 min later and luckily there was the owner (supposedly) of the villa in the parking lot and he opened the gate for us. Also it’s an old villa and not that well sound-isolated. Some people were using the stairs in the middle of the night and woke us up.

+ Charming villa in proximity to Florence. We always prefer sleeping away from the crowds, so it was a good option for relaxing evenings. + Clean and spacious rooms. + Well-kept property and garden area. + Very accommodating and polite staff. + Good breakfast buffet. + Very good value for money choice if travelling to the area of Florence.

- Not much I can say, other than it is half an hour drive from Florence, but this wasn't any issue for us. - The only thing that can be problematic is the small parking area, especially during full-season.

Amazing breakfast! Great hosts. We meet Barbara first time 13 years ago and it was great to see her again. I always remember her croissants Countryside and nature around the villa is beautiful and our daughters loved everything.

Water pressure, but we were on the 3rd floor.
