We stayed as a stopover between Florence and Cortona so that we could visit Sting's vineyard, but the old town of Figline with its bars and restaurants was a great surprise, and La Toscana Hotel was very convenient with good parking and breakfast and staff were friendly and helpful.

Nothing, it was exactly what we needed

Staff very helpful when I wanted to leave my luggage at the hotel for few hours after checking out. This allowed me to explore the town before meeting up with a tour.

The staff at Hotel Toscana are amazing, I can't praise them enough. We booked very last minute after our car broke down and our 'recovery' service left us in a closed depot with a broken car and no other support. So we really only needed a place to sleep nearby, but the concierge and all the staff have helped with translation, contacting mechanics, organising taxis, organising additional nights because of course nothing was fixed as quickly as we'd hoped. They were brilliant. The hotel itself is a little dated in places but the room we were in was recently refurbished, small, but perfectly adequate for 2 people as a base. Everything was exceptionally clean and well kept, and the shower was brilliant.

The restaurant area could do with a refresh.

We arrived around 10pm & expected the restaurant to be closed however they kindly served us without any fuss & the food & wine was delicious

On late arrival the gentleman at reception was not helpful & obviously didn’t like his job. At least the restaurant staff had a smile & welcoming attitude

The location was perfect for our purpose, a covered parking (included) and the windows kept out the noise of the nearby road. Clean.

Allesio was fantastico, he went out of his way to find bikes for us to rent and to arrange for their delivery. All the staff were friendly and helpful. A pleasant, plentiful breakfast was offered each morning.

Bit of a long walk to town and train station if you don’t have a car.

Stayed in this hotel to visit Florence and the Tuscan region. Would highly recommend! Spacious, modern and clean room with airconditioning. Great breakfast. Free parking. Only a 10min walk to the train station. Very friendly staff! We've enjoyed our stay!
