The location on the cusp of Salerno and Vietri was amazing. Had the pleasure of no large crowds. 8 minute walk into Vietri for beautiful restaurants and shopping. Beach was amazing and to be honest rather large in comparison to other beaches along the coast. We lived we could head in via boat and visit locations and come back again. Having to pay for sunbirds on the beach at a ridiculous price on the weekends and you paid depending on your location on the beach 35e per person on a weekend ridiculous. Oh and not getting a beach towel unless you booked a bed( to visit the local beach next to the hotels private beach. Breakfast was fine only hot food was scrambled eggs and bacon, no option to request eggs made a different way. If you like seeet parties for breakfast you are spoilt for choice- one other thing - the hotel rooms are definately overlooking the port, but the hotel makes up for location and amazing beach facilities. Oh and staff have good and bad days with speaking English and being helpful

Kind of "Old style hotel", which cares about their guests. * Very delicious food in evening (half board very recommended) * Very nice and careful staff (esp. restaurant) * Room was clean and well prepared * Quite nights, even as we had the room nearby the street * Very interesting view to the harbor and sea (especially if you travel with kids) * good connection to public transportation (bus to Salerno and other locations at Amalfi coast stops in front of hotel - recommendation is to travel to that area by train (Salerno) without any car * nice walk in the evening to Vietri

Nothing serious to mention here, but probably we would have gotten lazy staying there too long ;-) There was very very few noise from the harbor in the evening (I wouldn't take this as an issue). The beaches in the area are very restricted, so don't expect low prices.

The breakfast offered a good choice and the fresh homemade cakes were mouthwatering, especially the hazelnut one, chapeau to the chef. Staff welcoming and smiling. Marvellous view. The tasteful and colourful decoration of the room, recently refurbished, where mattress and cushions were top, which is essential for a hotel stay. Position ideal for visiting Salerno, Paestum, Caserta and Amalfi Costiera if you have a car. Even the corridor ceramics were truly eye catching and a special thanks to the car valet who always found a parking lot for us despite the overcrowding of the hotel

Should improve coffee machine too much of a queue and not Strong enough for Italian standard. Slight problem with the heating system, which despite the various attempts made by the receptionists, kept on coming on despite switching it off. The partial view on the port of Salerno is something you get used too and can be entertaining and not too noisy given the excellent double glazing

The room was very clean, beautifully decorated, with a lovely large window and small balcony with bay view. We didn't realise that the port and Naples city, where we wanted to visit, was over an hour's walk away. There is a train station nearby which we were able to use to take us into the city.

There was no hot water in the bathroom on the morning when we were leaving which meant no hot shower before leaving for the airport.

The rooms neeed to be renovated. Poor breakfast for long stay. You don't have acsess to the beach if you don't pay for sunbed. We were 5 and we never used all 5 sunbeds at the same time, especially takiing into account that min 2 sunbeds were under the sun, so we don't used them. The last day we were on the beach just 2 hours, but we were forced to pay for sunbeds. I think you can have more flexible conditions for your guests.

The location was excellent. Situated less than 2 miles from Salerno and 5 minutes walk from Vietri. Both locations offer great eating places. Hotel was clean, rooms were a good size and the ocean view was perfect. The WIFI was fast. The breakfast was good with plenty of options and the beach was clean and the water was clear. Also, they had free parking and you can rent scooters from the local area. The hotel is close to Amalfi which makes it a good place to stay for day trips.

the lifts were slow and if at capacity, it would take awhile to get to your room (only one lift). Also, the rooms can be hard to find based on the hotel layout.

Very nice situation at the beach. Close to Vietri which is a very nice village and also close to Salerno which is a great city. Great breakfast at the hotel, good bed, very clean and good showers.

Some of the staff could be friendlier. You have to pay for the private beach of the hotel, we thought it was strange. The beach club to 05 in the morning, at least some days of the week!

Close to the main street and train station. We were afraid of the reviews about the noise, but no issue at all with it. Good breakfast and the beach is lovely.

Shower was terrible. We could see our room was renovated and it is beautiful, but the shower is a shame.

First and foremost, the staff “ Carmine”at the Reception was outstanding. He greeted us with warm smile across his handsome face; and administered our checking very efficiently; and offered us excellent local cuisine and interesting places of interest within Vietri Sul Mare . Carmine showed us to our room no .336 and which has a splendid view of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Our hotel room is spick and span ; though our tap is found leaking ; and makes noise when the tap is turned on . The Break fast and the view of the dining area are amazing ! Overall, a delighted hotel to stay , and a good base to start one’s Amalias Coast road trip. Thank you for giving aMemorable and Relaxing Hotel!
