Beautiful location in the mountains high up over a lake. One can just watch things around or go for a proper hike. We had a room with nice garden view and it was comfortable. Great value for money. But another reason why we came there was the restaurant. And it was an excellent choice. Rustic, yes, but the food delicious and copious. We took tasting menu and it was perfect tasting of local wild and mushrooms and cold cuts. The house wine was also very competitive and just good.

To get to the place is a drive not for a faint hearted. Curvy road, narrow roads in Zone. But very beautiful views under way

We really enjoyed our stay here. What stood out the most was the kindness of the staff – it truly felt like a family-run business, with everything done with great care and attention to detail. We also had dinner at the restaurant and the food was excellent, with a very pleasant atmosphere. Even though we arrived quite late, the location was easy to reach, parking was available, and the place itself is very picturesque, which made us love it even more. The only regret is that we could only stay for one night.

If I had to mention something negative, it would be that the bed was a little uncomfortable and we had to adjust the base to sleep properly. But overall, everything else was wonderful and we would happily return.

The location is perfect for walking excursions on the fabulous mountains above Lago D' Iseo, the views are amazing (walk to Corna Trentapassi - well worth the hike, quite easy). The hotel is situated close to a very pretty and well kept town (Zone) and the amazing natural Pyramids. The owner Mr Almici is very friendly and entertaining, he gave us indications for the nicest walks and what to see nearby. The whole staff is friendly and attentive to one's needs. Easy free of charge parking and a the hotel serves a good lunch and dinner upon request. Swimming in Lake Iseo is close (20 min by car) in Marone, best at the "piccolo Tahiti" beach. I recommend the place for a nice relaxing weekend.

Nothing really to complain about, onéy a tip: breakfast could be better, it is a little old Italian style and not many local produce. Breakfast in Italy is notoriously the least important meal of the day.

Lovely mountain village location with many walks. Very friendly, comfortable rooms, good breakfasts and excellent evening meals in the very quirky, old- fashioned dining room! We loved it! Stunning location!

It was a very windey road up the mountain ( and down again to get anywhere else, eg. Lac Iseo..!

The room was a good size and very clean. The hotel is in a perfect position for trekking in the mountains above Lago d'Iseo and is very quiet. The restaurant and pizzaria are outstanding.

I find the beds a bit too hard for my taste.

Everything was just perfect! Staff makes you feel like home, location is superb, clean and quite large rooms. Being surrounded with nature, waking up to a mountain view and having your breakfast outside was truly an amazing experience !!!! Thanks to all the staff who have helped to make the experience a memorable one!

Great place, lovely staff, you need a car to get there but location is amazing, nice walks around. Breakfast was great and service amazing. Evening meal on the terrace very enjoyable
