Breakfast was decent. There is water machine that you can fill in your water bottles for free, this is quite handy. This is open 24 hours a day. There is kettle in the room. There is air conditioning, which was needed as it was quite warm (27 to 30 degrees). Parking is available on site and no need to reserve. There is also a space next to the entrance where you can stop to drop off the stuff. Location was excellent provided you have a car. Lidl/Aldi, KFC, McDonalds, Burger King are a 5 minute drive. Petrol station is 2 minute drive. Gasoline is more expensive than diesel in Barcelona. You can find everything close by. La Ramblas street is a 30 minute drive away. Le Sagrada Familia is also a 30 minute drive away. If you are looking for Pakistani/Indian food, close to La Ramblas street. You will also find Chinese, Japanese food here. Please note in Spain (just like Europe), supermarkets are closed on Sundays.

Staff don’t make you feel as welcome. In the morning, most don’t say hello. When asking them for help, select staff very helpful. Room service they didn’t wash or give me new coffee mugs, that was disappointing. Otherwise the room service was great!

It is convenient to a metro station and also to national park area that’s great for running or walking. The hotel district is quiet. Breakfast is a great start to the day. It’s simple but good. The staff were super helpful. I arrived early in the morning and was very lucky I was able to get into my room at that time.

The rooms are quite noisy. The walls are not sound proof so you can hear your neighbors. Also the floors are wood so when people are walking around in shoes it’s annoying.

The room was very comfortable, great size and clean. Everyone I spoke to on reception were friendly and helpful. The hotel was a short 5-10 min walk from the train station which you can get to the main city centre easily from (takes around 40-60 mins)

There isn’t anything in the area around the hotel so you do need to get the train elsewhere for restaurants and shops. The hotel doesn’t serve meals other than breakfast. Gluten free options at breakfast was only toast, cereal and small muffins, would’ve liked to have had a few more options but it was good to have something available.

The place was perfect for tourists who want to skip the low carbon emissions, parking hassle and just stay somewhere use the train back and forth reaching the hotel comfortably. Personally I liked the location, for first time visitors because driving in Barcelona is a hassle due to the low carbon emission zones/registration etc. The hotel was perfectly situated only 8 minutes walk close to the train station that takes you directly to Placa Catalunya where you take the red/blue line hop on hop off buses just 1 mins walk away from the metro station. I am travelling with my 73 year old mum, so I am rather happy without being overly stressed 😃

They do not have fridge in the rooms.

Very close to train station (5min walk) which brings you in 25 mins to Plaza Catalunya. Good value for money around Barcelona for a family of 4 (family room and breakfast included). Breakfast is not bad, enough choice. They gave us a breakfast box as we had to check out very early. We stayed for 2 nights on our way to Mallorca, and decided to return after we came back as this hotel was the best deal in the summer months.

Quite area, everything clean, police was patrolling the area every night, staff was polite and always willing to help, great stay and BEST Value for the price we paid !!! A nice bonus was the free parking on site ! Breakfast needs some vegetables !!!

Lack of vegetables at breakfast, and the size of the room, it was really small for 2 adults and 2 kids, also it would be nice to have a small fridge in the room, but considering the size of the room I can understand why it was not there, everything else was better than we actually expected ! A great holiday for a great price !

The train station to barcelona is about 5 min walk. ( San Joan train station) 30 minutes train from barcelona. Breakfast good for the price. Need to call a taxi or take a train to a grocery store close to the hotel. You cannot walk bc of the highway. You can get groceries when returning from barcelona by train ( best option)

I thought that the fact that the hotel premises take seriously fire emergencies was a great added value. Two stairways from either side of the bedroom aisle and optic fire detectors in the room along with the many other systems in place were excellent (fire extinguishers and ventilated emergency ways). Also, very clean and tidy facilities all around. The bed was very comfortable as well and breakfast was very decent! Staff at the facility were professional and kind to their costumers. Definitely a place I would go back!

Good position if you are travelling by car,we stayed 3 nights and we visited Barcelona every day by train,there's is the train stop Sant Joan S2 at only 5 minutes by walk from hotel and you reach the city in 30 minutes only. Hotel is clean,staff is professional and friendly. Breakfast is not bad.

Great value for money. Modern and lives up to Holiday Inn brand. Friendly and helpful staff, superb cleaners! Everything hotel related was easy. Room was nice, air con worked, beds were comfy. Breakfast, although quite mediocre, was a nice bonus to start off the day.

We would've loved a mini fridge in the room to keep some food cool, as it was so hot. This was really the only thing that was not good at the hotel. Smaller annoyances - location is a bit unfortunate, even though train is near and easily gets to Barcelona centre. Also, what's up with elevators breaking constantly?
