I loved the vintage luxury vibe. The lobby, bar, dining area, and grounds were beautiful. The outdoor pool was stunning.

The bathroom in my room could use a little work. It was hard to keep the tiny shower from leaking all over the floor.

Very nice staff, huge room, very elegant hall, nice evening entertainment, nice breakfast.

Quite dated building, water to be paid in half board dinner, not enough sunbeds in the spa, not enough lights in outdoor evening pool, dinner was not that great. Empty minibar

The outside pool has great massage jets and I liked the outside garden area as well as the big indoor pool The mattress was amazing as well as the duvet cover Loved the decoration, heavy curtains, lots of golden picture frames,…

The cheaper single rooms have a very old moldy tiny shower with old plumbing. The water pressure in our rooms was low. Sometimes during our meals (half board) we seemed to be invisible to the waiters

The staff was very polite and helpful. Very good customer service. The pools are lovely, big enough for more people and clean.

Breakfast was quite uniform with no choice for people with certain dietary restrictions eg. gluten free. There were no labels on the foods, what they were, whether it was chicken, pork, or whether the cheese was cow or goat. This has been a problem for me as I have not been able to follow the prescriptions given to me in terms of food.

A beautifully tranquil hotel cloaked in old world charm. I felt like I was on the set of an Agatha Christie movie!! The spa was lovely. It was only a short walk into town to the shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were all lovely and so kind to the older guests.

No negatives unless you worry about a tiny shower!! But the shower was hot!!

Albano ritz is exceptional in comfort and service. The staff were approachable and spoke many languages, which was great since I had limited Italian. Even when dealing with staff that didn't have any shared language with 6 would do their utmost to help or always had a colleague near who was able to communicate. All of the staff are wonderful people who are willing to go the extra mile. The spa treatments are well priced and well worth it. The majority of the hotel decor is of a classic look but is extremely well maintained and kept. This is successful in creating an atmosphere of a traditional high-end establishment. The exception to the classic style seems to be the creative rooms that are spacious and truly unique, each having its own style, often interesting and more modern.

The grounds are well maintained, but the pictures can mislead you into believing they are much bigger than they actually are. It would have been nice to have a leaflet for all the dinner, bar, pool times, and a full list of hotel services and information for guests to know. All the information was shared during check-in, but its a lot of information to remember and would be nice to have something in the room to reference rather than bothering staff.

service was really good and staff made you feel at home. , gym was modern and well equipped. hospitality, history was amazing with the room showing photos of the its history through time, decor absolutely amazing!!! Excellent location!

Room was noisy when I wanted to rest due to sound coming from upstairs room. Advised reception but no offer to move. Ability to book therapies limited due to availability of staff etc.

Beautiful, clean, easy to find things

Really we liked everything. The hotel is heated with geothermal heat and our room was a little too warm when we checked in. A bell boy brought our bags up and showed up how to turn off the heat. We did and then opened the windows and the temperature was just fine in the evening. But that is being picky; we had a wonderful stay.

The hotel was a little dated but spacious clean and very well run . The staff were super and welcoming. The food was excellent and I had one of the best massages of my life .

If we’d been told there was a gala evening planned we would have bought appropriate clothes.

It's a very friendly hotel, the staff are always very helpful and go the extra mile to help and advise you. The facilities are first class. It's a hotel that I would certainly be happy to visit again.

There's nothing negative about the hotel.
