It’s a time warp of a hotel. We were made to feel comfortable from the first minute we arrived. Food good and staff exceptional. We will return if the second pool is refurbished.

My only criticism is that whereas the thermal pool is excellent with temperatures of 35 c the other pool is becoming aged with tiles falling off and a max of three strokes before you hit underwater steps which makes it unusable. It should be refurbished to a useable swimming pool as in other nearby hotels.

Pool area is exceptionally nice with the ability to swim inside-outside in the same pool. Also, the staff is incredibly nice and polite. Rooms are comfortable and the beds are nice and spacious.

The only thing that could be better is the food (dinner). The portions are very small and not as good as one would expect in Italy. It would also be good if the staff had better English.

The service from the staff at Astoria was amazing. Every time we came down to the reception and had questions regarding bus and train times, they always stopped what they were doing and helped us with a smile. In the dining area around breakfast the service continued where the waiters always met you with a smile and asked what kind of coffee we would like. We would like to thank the sweet staff for making our stay as comfortable and relaxing as it was. The location is very good: they have a crop field as a neighbor which gave a sense of privacy and space. We loved the pool area, where there were plenty of sun chairs, and where they both have a normal pool and a thermal pool. If you don't want to stay at the pool side all the time, the hotel have a cosy garden where there were plenty of places in the shade. The hotel lend bikes for free, which is perfect if you wan't to explore Abano and surrounding areas. The hotel was also very clean. Each day a maid came and cleaned and tidied our room, which was super nice to return to.

From a scandinavian standard, breakfast could have been better. But on day 2 I started realizing that the breakfast indeed did offer a variety of special foods, such as cheese and meats. So I ended up really liking the breakfast.

Room 514 (mini suite) is comfortable, sparkly clean, with AC (a must on italian summer days). Recrption and other hotel staff are very polite, atentives and alwsys willing to help. Reception povided good advices and map for exploring the village an Padova. Location in proximity to the village shop centers (5 minute walk). Food is very good. Buffe Breakfast And Dinner is good with many selections. HB main portion is very tasty. A very nice land scape and pools area Free parking. partialy with cover is a big advantage.

Termal water at 30 Celcius were more like a Normal bathing pool, we ecpected more high temp termal water in a designsted pool/s. Charge for Bathrobe and pool towals, Athough Hotel provided an explanation, we find it not apropiate. For travellees like this type of termal water. the Hotel is Highly recomended.

The staff there was super nice and definitely did everything they could to accommodate my needs! Best staff ever!

The Pools and Spa were very nice. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had several beauty treatments and they were great.

The only thing I would have liked better was if the room and hotel were a bit more updated, if it was more modern designed. It seemed to be stuck in an 80-ies chique era.

Swimming, sauna and outside area are amazing.
