Ivan and his family and team were lovely, they were so kind and helpful and made our stay really enjoyable. Our cosy apartment was very nice, and we felt very safe and secure here. It is best if you have your own car, but Ivan collected and dropped us off at the airport and we also had access to a taxi which we used to get to the train station (45 minute walk) or Castel Gandolfo centre. There isn't a local 'convenience' shop so this is something to be aware of, but there are lots of good restaurants nearby. We often ate at the local De Agnese restaurant, which is less than 5 mins walk from the BnB and has great Italian dishes and stunning views over Lake Albano. We had access to the local private beach (included in the cost of the room) was a highlight as we wanted a relaxing holiday and this was a lovely beach! We had breakfast every day on the terrace of the main house, a lovely fresh hot and continental breakfast with breathtaking views, just what we wanted, it was perfect. Thank you for a great stay, we would happily stay again.

There was an issue with the front door of the apartment, which was a bit stressful, but this was the only challenge.

Beautiful location overlooking the lake with easy access by foot to the sidewalk along the lake for walks and dining options-although we had a wonderful evening meal at the B&B instead. Comfortable and spacious rooms including one with a bathtub. Most importantly the care shown to us by owner Ivan, Georgia the delightful server, and the chef made it an unforgettable experience.

Be prepared for a narrow steep driveway with some potholes to navigate if you are arriving by car, but this is completely typical and expected when staying in these hidden spectacular hillside spots.

We had a wonderful stay at this small and charming boutique hotel in Castel Gandolfo. The view of the lake is absolutely breathtaking! We stayed in the suite, which was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of wine and some snacks waiting for us in the room. Breakfast was delightful, served on a lovely terrace overlooking the lake – a perfect way to start the day. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money. Highly recommended!

This was a hidden gem minutes from the lake. From the minute we arrived we were blown away with the beautiful views and stunning accommodation. Ivan the owner could not do enough for you. It was always wonderful after a busy day of exploring to return to this peaceful and luxurious guest house. Everything was to a superb standard and every little detail thought of...we even had facemasks for our jacuzzi bath. I can't wait to rerun when I am next in Italy.

Ivan and his wonderful staff were very welcoming and helpful. The property is spotlessly clean, comfortable with stunning views. We had Apericena on arrival for dinner which was beautifully served and delicious (including wine) which was great value. Ivan arranged breakfast for us for our early departure for the airport, my husband and I were very grateful. This too was lovely with a great selection. A big thank to Ivan and his team.

We spent two relacing days in a peaceful place with beautiful views. The location is very close to the lake and ideal for walks. We had a very good breakfast and the owner offered to come and pick us from the train station. He also accompanied us on our way back. The owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful. Good location, nice room and the apartment is very close to some good restaurants with super delicious Italian food.

If you do not like to walk/hike up to the central area of Castel Gandolfo, it is better to hire a car/bike etc. Also, there are no groceries in the area, so better plan ahead for any daily needs.

host was kind, available, and understanding. lake view room was big, clean, and comfortable. breakfast was good, though not too much variety. parking space is included, and private behind gates. felt incredibly secure and at peace

was a bit hard to reach, directions were confusing and roads are tight and steep (not a huge deal, and in the end it's worth it)

Simply a wonderful place! The hosts simply surrounded us with attention. My wife had a birthday, and the hosts arranged a separate dinner for us on the terrace of the house! They also helped us get to the train station when leaving! We are absolutely delighted with the place and the hospitality of the hosts!

We had a suite, a big room with a kitchenette a big jacuzzi and a nice shower and bathroom. The view over the lake was beautiful. The host was very nice and for breakfast, aside from the usual, an egg any style and fresh tasty vegetables.

It is outside the town. I liked it, because it was peaceful and calm, but it is not easy without a car.

The host was amazing and so accommodating. We came in in the middle of the night after a long travel and he made us feel super welcome despite the fact that he had to wake up to let us check in.. he also accommodated our early departure and made sure to have our cappuccino and breakfast ready for us. It was a beautiful property and we would highly recommend. Planning to go back at some point
