This was my final destination after cycling to Rome by bicycle. Close enough to Rome Ciampino airport and with a good rail link into the city, but with a nice small town atmosphere. Great communication from the hotel in preparation for my arrival, bicycle storage provided in the hosts garage, Help with booking a taxi to the airport and plenty of advice for choosing local restaurants. I chose a single room which didn't have a balcony or lake view, but for my purpose it was ideal, spacious, clean and comfortable with good air-conditioning.

The accommodation is very clean and has everything you need. Check in was quick and smooth. We had early check in which was fantastic! The lake view from the terrace is absolutely stunning. The host (Mimmo) is very responsive, friendly and very kind. He provided some great places for lunch, dinner, and also supermarket and shops not far from our accomodation. When we checked out, Mimmo even took us to the train station by his own car! Thank you so much for your hospitality, Mimmo and Atlantis staff. We have wonderful stay in Castel Gandolfo. I highly recommend this place for everyone who wants to stay in Castel Gandolfo.

We felt at home, the room was clean although it was in the basement (but we knew it and didn't mind as we only stayed for 2 days) we were greeted exceptionally warmly by our host Mimmo, who made sure we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived. The attention to detail was clear — from the fresh linens to the thoughtful touches around the room. Communication was smooth and timely, and we truly appreciated the Mimmo’s local recommendations. He even gently gave us a lift by car for a wedding, which was incredibly kind and above and beyond what we expected. It was a peaceful and comfortable stay, and we would absolutely return without hesitation.

I can’t explain how magnificent this place is (from the views the quiet and the fact it it is not crazy busy like Rome) and how nice and helpful Mimmo are with everything starting at sending WhatsApp message to make sure we are on the way to reserving parking spot the first day and restaurant recommendations. Mimmo is very popular in the town and everyone likes him 🥰

Hilarious and full of energy 'Mimmo' showed us to our apartment as well as escorted us down to the lovely "Ristorante Bucci" since we didn't have a reservation. We stayed in Atlantis Inn's "SoloX2" property which was adorable in and of itself, not to mention the main attraction...beautiful Lake Albano! I'm going to give you a little Head's Up that there is a Bar below this apartment and it became PACKED with people drinking, smoking and just having a great time...they all left by Sundown. I mention this to those who might want to avoid the possibility of cigarette smoke coming in to the apartment or are sensitive to the sights and sounds of people having a good time. I was a little confused during the booking process about which of the places in the photos we would get (hoping for the large balcony)...we stayed in SOLOX2. Fabulous position in Castel Gandolfo with views over the lake from the lounge and main bedroom. Roberta welcomed us at the apartment Complementary coffee and water. Large comfortable bed. Warm and cosy as it was cold at night. Charming building Really the flat is all about location and views we were a couple and it was great for us but it might be more cramped if both bedrooms taken

Not dislikes but Bathroom very narrow and the shower cubicle was quite small & possibly a challenge for the more rubenesque body shape.( However it was hot and powerful) The kitchen was very basic and the oven was not clean- also the work surfaces were greasy around the hob and the pans had seen better days. There was a washing machine which was quite old and was out of action when we were there. There was some later evening noise from the wine bar below the flat ( not too much of a problem for us but in summer it might be more problematic). TIP: if arriving by train book taxi / transfer in advance as in winter there is no shuttle bus and its a bit of a slog up the path to the town with luggage

Cozy apartments where we found everything we needed for our multi-day stay. A cozy and cute town, after leaving the apartametes, you can immediately find restaramus, where you can have a delicious meal of local food. During our stay, a celebration took place in the adjacent town, so we could watch the beautiful fireworks through the windows of the apartments. The owners communicated kindly and helpfully, they were very helpful in arriving from the airport and back, we were 5 people and it was quite difficult to arrange a taxi, but thanks to the owners, this issue was solved.

Very nice property, exactly as described and shown in pictures. We stayed in the studio with the view of the lake, and it was clean and comfortable, well equipped with everything you would need for a short stay. The bed and linens were the nicest of any place we stayed in Italy - almost what you'd find in a luxury hotel. Wonderful to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the view over the lake. The staff were helpful and responded quickly to inquiries when contacted. Restaurants and shops were just around the corner.

The room wasn't very well soundproofed, and we could hear everything going on outside on the street, but fortunately while we were there the town was pretty quiet, so this wasn't a big issue. Figuring out where and how to park and navigating the roads around the town to get in and out with a car was a bit confusing.

The location is wonderful, the exterior entrance to the room was beautiful, and the room was comfortable with useful furnishings and nice amenities. I appreciated the mini refrigerator!

A few extra towels would have been nice, since it is not very easy to get replacements when needed. Our biggest challenge was with transportation from the train station when we arrived with our luggage. The hotel website mentioned a local bus, which took us a while to determine was not running at the time. The site did not include how to call a taxi or otherwise find a ride. When we reached someone on a hotel phone number, their driver was not available. It was a frustrating hour in the heat before we were finally picked up by a taxi.

We liked everything! The lake view was as beautiful as in the pictures. waking up to the view felt magical. we had all the facilities we could think of wanting. We used the kitchen to make a simple dish, we also used the washing machine and all the clothes got dry with the help of the sun and the fan at night😄 they even had a nail file 😅 it was such a nice recovery stop after nonstop activities in Rome. it's easy with a car to drive down the lake where you could swim, the town where the property is located and the town at the lake were so pretty and lively at night! there's also a bakery at walking distance, really good cornetto😄 we would come back!!

we somehow didn't get hot water during our stay, probably the gas was out, since the stove also didn't work. the guy probably wouldve fixed it for us but we just didn't bother asking because its only for one night.
