Good value near airport location. Wonderful bed for the night if you want to explore Ostia Antica as well. 24 hour bar attached to the hotel (no noise complaints) is great service as well. Train to the city is nearby and connects directly into the Metro network. Hint: If you can stomach the 20 minute walk to the Ostia Antica 'Area Archeologica' bus stop (walk through the village), there's an every 30 minute service (709A) to the airport for €1.50 rather than paying €30-50 for a taxi. All day service after 05:30 am.

Bathroom could have been slightly nicer, but I'm not sleeping in there so who cares.

I wanted to see the ruins at Ostia Antica. This was not my first choice, but it turned out great. (You never know right). The location is good. Walking distance to the railway station, and the ruins. The room was fine, bathroom really good. It was good value for money I thought. Certainly, compared to central Rome. The staff there I spoke with were all great. Friendly. Not much English, but that's ok. You're in Italy. It's a bit strange when you first show up as "reception" is in a bar. (cafe). But it all works out fine. The bar btw is open 24 hours. Fabulous. It was suggested early on there isn't much public transportation. There isn't. BUT, there IS a bus that will get you to the airport. The taxis are super expensive and the airport is close. The bus company is Cotral. Get the app. The stop is really not obvious, but it's there, right by the ruins. 20 mins walk from this place. An added bonus......right next door there is a restaurant that is awesome. It's never easy knowing when you walk in a place right. It's called Frantoio. They do a deal for 10 euro, that you can't beat. The place is great. Great food. So, absolutely try this place. I'd have stayed longer if I could have. Very fine for a solo traveler or couple.

This accommodation was a pleasant surprise, the location was great, walkable to the train station and 10 minute Uber to the airport. There was also an outdoor sitting area which was nice after a long day in Rome. Beds were comfortable and the shower was good. It exceeded our expectations on facilities.There is a very nice 24 hr coffee shop downstairs and a very good restaurant 2 doors away. The staff were exceptional and the 2 ladies in the coffee shop were lovely and could not do enough for us. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. I wish we could have stayed longer. This is a very homey and comfortable accommodation at an exceptional price, I highly recommend this accommodation!

Great location within walking distance of the station (about 1.1 kms). Walking distance also to the Ostia Antica archaeological park (less than a kilometre from the station). Supermarket and pharmacy across the road. The property itself has great coffee and an exceptional range of pastries and croissants on offer. The staff were all super nice and friendly. And there’s a great restaurant right next door!

Nothing to not like.

The room was clean, and the mattress was very comfortable — we had a great rest after a long day. A supermarket is just a 3-minute walk away, there’s a restaurant on the ground floor, and a cake shop in the same building where you can try all kinds of Italian sweets.

The only thing I didn’t like was the 13–15 minute walk from the property to the train station or bus stop. Everything else was really nice.

The Villa is small and with an outside patio, a few yards away is a wonderful cafe/bar open 24hours, and the staff are amazing, not to mention the food on show. Again, you can eat/drink inside or out, and it's full of cool locals who, like the staff, are always helpful and hospitable. In short, this is a real find, and I shall certainly be back when next in Rome. Thank you to all.

There is nothing I did not like.

The room was clean, comfortable and secure, with enough space, and had a lovely covered private terrace. Breakfast is not included but there is an amazing bakery/bar/cafe right next door where you can get wonderful pastries and slices of pizza. You can also park there, and it's popular with local people. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We were able to walk to Ostia Antica in 20-30 minutes (although the road is quite busy) and there is a supermarket and restaurants nearby. The place doesn't look much from the road, but don't judge from the first impression. We were only there 2 nights before returning to the airport, but we wouldn't hesitate to return for a longer stay as it's possible to travel into the centre of Rome using public transport, or visit the coast.

The hotel was just what we needed for a visit to the Roman site at Ostia Antica before heading to the airport and home. Clean and well located, with a handy bar for breakfast, nearby restaurant, supermarket across the road and easy parking. A nice little terrace was a good place to sit out and watch the sun go down - and enjoy the wafting scent of pastries from the nearby bakery!

Well managed. Nice rooms. This place is about half a mile (and so walking distance) from the Ostia Antiqua ruins and Ostia Antiqua train station. And relatively close the airport.

Not the fault of the property--but I thought that being closer to the airport would make it easier to get there. However it was hard to get a taxi to get to the airport.
