Sparkling clean rooms throughout, within walking distance of some cafes and restaurants. We ate dinner where they recommended and it was excellent. Very close to the ruins of Ostia Antica which is also worth the time to see. The lovely older couple who run the place are very accommodating. He called a taxi for us. We had to leave for the airport before 8 am breakfast so the night before she left us a bagged breakfast of juice and pastries. 20 minutes to the airport. The mattress was a bit too firm for my liking but I slept anyway. I would recommend it to others.

Accomodation is situated in calm area of town in garden houses quartier 15 mins from Archological site. The owner is very friendly and even she didnt understood to much english and we do not speak Italian we were able to negotiate all both side needed:-) She was very kind and caretaking. Rooms are quite big well equipped, clean, AC + heating. Breakfast was rich but it is Italian style - so sweets, cornflakes youghurts so do not expect eg. english breakfast. We can highly recomend this accomodation

it is close to the airport so this could be disturbing depending on landing direction - we were lucky that traffic was calm dawn after 21.00. You can also hear other guests from nearby room, and we also hope that we didnt disturb them too much by our own noise. Noise protection could be better, but it is older house.....but those are just minor minuses

Location is excellent for visiting Ostia Antica. It is also much closer to the airport than Rome. The room was lovely- like staying with family.

The owner is very kind, but her English is limited- which made communication a bit difficult. We should learn Italian, as we are in Italy- so this is not a criticism of her by any means. But if you do not speak fluent Italian, it can be challenging. Also, the water coming out of the sink has grit in it. Our hands were gritty after washing them, and we couldn't figure out why. Then, I realized it was coming out of the water faucet. That was a bit odd. So be sure to have a bottle of water with you.

I was with two friends for 2 days and then on my own for 2 days. The hostess was very friendly and kind to me. She booked me a taxi to the airport to fly back to Australia. This was a relief to me as I don't speak Italian. My last 2 days, I caught the train to Rome. This was easy as I got off at Porta San Paolo ( about 20 min). I knew I would find my way back to the station easily as there were 2 massive landmarks in front of the station ( the pyramid and the gate of Sao Paola). I walked to trastevere ( busses and trams are possible) and climbed Piazzale Giuseppe Garibaldi and enjoyed seeing Fontana dell' Acqua Paola. The 2nd day I explored sights along Via del Corso and Centro Storico. At Porta Sao Paola/ Piramide, there are options to travel around Rome using the metro. Ostia Antica, besides having the attraction of the amazing ruins of the old Roman port, is a charming village with good restaurants and friendly staff. In addition, Ostia Antica is only about 12 minutes from Fiumicino Airport.

No complaints.

Lovely little B&B presided over by a charming lady who went out of her way to be helpful. Well located for Ostia Antica site, and only 20 minutes to FCO by taxi.

Not a criticism of Domus Gratiae, but be aware that Ostia Antica station does not have a taxi rank and you will need to call for one. The walk from the station to the B&B is not really feasible at the moment with luggage due to roadworks.

The room was very clean and neat. Breakfast was sufficient and I was served a nice cappuccino to go with my pastry and yogurt. I like the location very much. It was easy to park and felt very safe on a wide street with little traffic. Yet it was also very close to the main part of town with restaurants and cafes. It was a short and easy walk.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

We had a large comfortable room with air conditioning- vital in the heat of a Roman summer! Breakfast is held downstairs in a quaint and pretty kitchen. The cappuccinos were excellent. Staying in Ostia Antica is wonderful- the property is minutes away from the most AMAZING archaeological park. Breathtaking in scope and detail. I feel this B+B offers excellent value.

The hostess was very lovely. Even though she didn't speak much English we managed to communicate well. Breakfast was a good selection - try the ciambellone with your cappuccino. It's delicious! . Nice garden area and outdoor seating on the patio. We would have liked to stay longer.

The shower was a bit of a tight squeeze, but temp and pressure was good

The owner was very sweet and helpful - she even packed us breakfast knowing we had to leave very early. The property was very lovely, with first entering through a locked gate into a beautiful yard. It felt like you were at home. The room was extremely large with everything you need, like a sofa and kitchenette. It was older, but it didn't feel that way and it was very clean. I had plenty of room to prepare my luggage for our trip home the next day, There was a town square within walking distance where you can find a place to eat. There is plenty of parking at this property, but don't recommend driving to the square. Also, it is very close to the airport, so it is a perfect place to stay before leaving Rome.

Nothing!

We loved the house. It was rustic. It was quiet. We had a lovely breakfast. The lady was Italian, could jot speak English, but she knew to use the translator. The room had a big balcony that we enjoyed. The breakfast room was impressing, lots of old objects to analyse.

We missed having a fridge to cool our water.
