Had what we needed for a short one night stay, bed was really comfortable and the facilities were tidy and clean. The host was a good communicator and stayed up late to check us in at midnight after our late flight, which was really appreciated.

While the location is close to the airport, it is not close enough to walk and there are no handy public transport options. We had to take a taxi to/from the airport, which worked out to be €20 each way. Taking this into account, it may have been similar price and therefore less stress to just book into one of the airport hotels.

Nice room, quite large and very clean, with a comfortable bed. Notably, very close to an amazing fish restaurant "Mammarò". If you stop in this BnB, do yourself a favor and go there. It's not touristic, the staff is very professional and, considering what you eat, is quite cheap (75 euros, 2 starter, 2 first courses, 1 dessert and a wine bottle). Back to the room, everything needed was provided, even a modest breakfast (a bit unconventional for the hotel standards, but this is a private BnB) matching perfectly what you get when you go to your Italian grandmother house: moka coffee, milk, packaged brioches, plumcakes, brick fruit juice ... Not much, but you don't really need more (at this price range).

The only place where the price value is lost a bit is the location. Especially if you have to arrive late in the evening or leave early in the morning the bus are not very frequent and you may want to book a taxi from/to the airport, which cost around 20 euros per go. This means that, if you prefer to be comfortable not waiting for bus, you may consider a hotel in the airport allowing around 40euros more in your room budget.

We loved how clean and spacious the room was! The place is in a quiet residential area. It has a balcony as well. There was a bus stop nearby to go to Ostia, where we could take a train to go to the centre of Rome. The host was very nice and we enjoyed breakfast too! Very nice place.

The place looked quite close from the airport on the map so we tried to walk, but there were no-pedestrian roads and it was actually quite far so we took the free shuttle bus to Fiumicino and then walked for 30min or so. We could take a different bus from there to go close to the accommodation but taxi from the airport would have been the best way to access. The host recommended us to take a taxi, so no blame for the host! I just wanted to leave some transportation info here as the host doesn't provide free transportation anymore.

We stayed only for a night, our flight was delayed and kind reception lady waited for us until 1am and save us from a night outside 🙂 Thank you very much for that. Room was comfortable and clean, much bigger and prettier than it appeared on pictures. In the morning we enjoyed coffee and breakfast on balcony. THANK YOU❤️

Such a lovely family business, very comfortable stay solo before a flight the next morning. Great bed ans bathroom and I personally enjoy the dated authentic Italian style. Very grateful, loved it!

Host was extremely pleasant and helpful, got up very late to check us in after flight delayed. Good location close to airport and all the amenities you need to rest up before long haul flight

We chose Melody for its location close to Fiumicino. It's in a quiet neighborhood with lots of grocery stores and close to the beach; nice for watching the sunset, or just stepping out onto the balcony at sunrise. The bed was SUPER comfortable and solid (we don't usually notice one way or another, but this one stood out as particularly comfy), and Lucia made check-in and early breakfast all super easy. We'll be back!

For my short stay( 1 night) ,location was very good,close to airport, just 10 min... Also ,shopping mall ,just around the corner. Room was very clean. Staff ,very friendly and helpful. Breakfast , I could make my own style.

The owner was so lovely, made us a basket of food and pre booked a taxi for us since we were leaving at 5 am. Also woke up with us to let us know the taxi was there. Great room with a big bathroom and balcony and aircon. Very clean and comfortable bed :)

Difficult to get to from the airport but that’s the Taxis fault not theirs, WIFI also didn’t work
