A proper 'BnB' in the traditional British sense, in that you are staying inside someone's home and sharing their space, which makes for a more authentic experience (though the house is spacious and you are in your own bit of it). The hosts were very kind in accommodating our late evening arrival. The bedroom and bathroom were fine, traditional rather than modern in style, and the breakfast offered, though simple, was nevertheless welcome, and served on the shaded terrace outside, which was nice. There was a cat with kittens. This is a location which requires a car - and that you maybe wouldn't choose for its own merits in terms of setting/location (it is on the edge of an urban/suburban area, north of Agrigento town) - but if you need an economical base somewhere in the area for a night or two and have your own transport then it could meet your needs very well, being clean, honest, simple and very good value.

The hostess is super nice. It’s easy to park in the street. The location was convenient to visit old town and the valley of the temples (within 10/15min by car). There are supermarkets in walking distance. The house is old fashion but the bed was comfortable, shower with hot water with excellent pressure and it was clean. The breakfast was simple but tasty.

Honestly nothing that I would like to note. It was absolutely good value for money.

Beautifull lady owner, worm welcome with the vine :). She helped us with instructions how to get arround, where to eat... Easy parking in front of the house ( with possibility inside if you need). Nice breakfast on the patio.. We arrived a little late (21h) and that was not a problem.

Breakfast was served in pleasant surroundings, in Gemma's own dining room. Good portions, more than adequate for a continental breakfast. We did not finish everything on offer. Good coffee! Great local pizzeria/restaurant, very close walking distance to Casa Del Luca ... it's called Sapori Divini di Chez Layla. We had a wonderful meal, very good quality and affordable. Also, we really appreciated Gemma's hospitable nature and the friendly and warm way in which we were greeted. We had several good chats, as Gemma can speak several languages and is well travelled and educated.

We were aware of it when we booked, however you should know that the location is approximately 3.5 kilometres out of the centre of town, which was no problem for us to walk, once we found a safe route ... it's a question of avoiding some major roads, but very possible when you know the right way. If you have a car, no problem! Also, and it was not a problem for us, be aware that the room we booked had single beds ... if you are expecting a double bed, please check with Gemma first, to see if available.

Luca and his mom were very kind and helpful hosts. We could park the car in the yard. The breakfast was quite a good portion. Good choice if you just pass by Agrigento.

Very good location if you are traveling by car and want to visit the Valle dei Templi and the area around. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. Very good breakfast.
