Breakfast buffet was very good. More important the coffee was excellent. Location is fabulous, halfway between Positano and Amalfi. Once you got to know the bus schedule, that was the easiest and cheapest way to get where we were going. Last day we walked to Amalfi, stopping for a couple of hours at out-of-this-world beach down by the ocean. Hotel swimming pool was very nice, and even better was the beach platform about 200 steps lower - very secluded and nice to jump into the ocean for a short swim, or to cool down. Hotel staff was extremely nice and willing to accommodate any and every request - can´t give them a high enough rating !

My sister and I were their first guests for the season. It’s a great property with very picturesque views. The property was well taken care of and very tidy. The staff were very accommodating. We stayed in the junior suite, which has a shower with a steam function, which was great! The pool is filled with fresh salt water from the ocean…great for health and skin benefits…Shout out to Pepe for being kind and warm to us.

Although the beddings were clean, I reacted badly to it and broke out. The aircon in my room used to go on and off at times. I mentioned this to reception and it was sorted immediately.

Beautiful traditional Italian hotel with spectacular views. Amazing pool area, with a bar serving drinks and food. Steep steps down to a lower platform with more sun beds and direct access to the sea. Very comfortable bedroom with a balcony and of course that view! All the staff were exceptional. Good communication and service throughout. The food in the restaurant was excellent - with so much competition around it has to be good and it really was! Hotel offered a shuttle bus service into Amalfi few minutes away (which we used), plus the public bus stops right outside the hotel so getting around the coast is easy. The hotel also offers free parking which isn't available everywhere. Thoroughly recommend... we'd definitely love to go back.

Absolutely nothing.

The location is fantastic. Amalfi is super busy in the summer and this hotel offers privacy and comfort which is very precious and hard to find. The hotel has both pool and access to the sea which as well as breath taking views from their balconies. We felt very relaxed and slept comfortably. Staff are exceptionally friendly and eager to help. And some waiters were a pleasure to talk to.

However the facilities and furniture are very old and outdated. The restaurant is not great. If you are looking forward to tasting fresh and authentic Italian food, save your appetite for a different place. The food tasted really horrible, I had a beef steak that was swimming in white sauce, it really was bad. The breadsticks were in their wrapping as if they got them straight from the supermarket and the bread was already on the tables before people arrived. The breakfast is mediocre.

We booked a junior suite which has a huge balcony (with loungers and a table) with a view towards Amalfi, the sea and the coast. We could stare at that view for hours on end day or night. Once in our room, a steward came up with a complementary bottle of Prosecco. Much appreciated. Being a few kms outside of town it is very calm. The pool area although we couldn't use it is beautiful. Service is very attentive. Parking was very easy and we never had a problem finding space. They also have a shuttle to town which is worth it since parking in Amalfi is horrendously expensive and hard to find. The dinner and wine options are very good.

The hotel is a 4 star but looks a bit outdated. You would at least expect a coffee machine in your room in a 4 star. It took a very long time to get hot water for the shower.

convenient location for those who travel by car - it has free parking (a rare and precious thing on Amalfi cost), in ~ the middle between Amalfi and Positano, close to the Path of the Gods hike and Emerald Grotto. The room is very large (only the bathroom was about the size of a whole room in some other hotels :-))

the hotel is a bit aging (which has character) but yet - the rooms, the furniture, the large mechanical keys... The breakfast is good but kind of the same every morning (we stayed a few nights). The pool and access to the private beach are very nice, but a bit less relevant in October. At this price, we'd expect it to have a spa. Good hotel, but other hotels we stayed in on the same trip in Matera and on Capri (also very popular tourist destinations) have been just as good and at ~half the price.

The location of the hotel is easy to access to every Amalfi coast towns/areas, and their shuttle bus services are so convenient and safe. The breakfast has so much to choose from and the view from the restaurant is exceptional. What's more heartwarming is that I was offered a free room upgrade as the hotel staff was so nice to take care of my physical condition, I'm very grateful of their considerations and willingness to help.

Everyone was so friendly and inviting. Like we were invited into their home. Plus, the views are spectacular. And the pool and private beach area were fun and super cool. The steps getting back from beach are a killer, though. Haha. They also will take care of anything you need. Laundry. Renting a private boat to take you around the coast. Restaurant recommendations and reservations with shuttle service. We did all this and my family will never forget our time there.

The shower stalls are awkwardly small but fine.

The view from our large balcony was absolutely stunning, facing out toward the sea and to the left along the coastline to Amalfi and beyond. Sunrise, sunset, the moon reflected on the sea -- it was all spectacular. In addition, we very much liked being outside the main towns, yet close enough to get to them within a short time. We also very much appreciated the dining room service. Pepe and all the waiters were extremely professional yet warm. We felt that we'd become friends with them all in just a few days, and were truly sad to leave. In addition, the food was excellent and we were very glad to eat dinner at the hotel all five nights of our stay. Plus, or course, the good breakfast (excellent scrambled eggs) on the lovely terrace overlooking the sea was the perfect way to start each day. We also appreciated the hotel shuttle to and from Amalfi.

Our only disappointment was the weak wifi. And our only suggestion in terms of improving the facilities would be to update the furnishings in the bar area.

Breathtaking location and excellent value for money. The property is a bit old but we did not mind at all, it has the charm of old days gone. The staff was so friendly and professional, especially the maitre de and his staff at the restaurant. Food was excellent, we ordered a la carte but they have an excellent fixed price menu they change everyday lunch and dinner. As an Italian this place made me very nostalgic of the best side of Italy before mass tourism kicked in, when hospitality and professionalism was number one priority. Also do not kiss the pool! Those views!! Will be back!!!

Shuttle bus should be free and should run more regularly and later in the evening especially considering a 10 mins taxi ride from central Amalfi is 50 euros….
