Our host Alessio was incredible. He always has time for his guests, from the time of booking 7 months prior to while we were there, he had the best advice and solutiions for our questions. Martina put out luggage on the converyor lift and then carried our heavy luggahe up a flighr of stairs and welcomed us to our rooms. Staff leave you wanting for nothing. The incredible infinity pool is sensationa, it was impossible to leave. Met the owner of the villa and he was a delight. The eggs in the morning and coffees are delicious. Incredible location with unmatched panaromaic views of Amalfi. Quiet, out of the tourist strip yet centra to Amalfi city centre, a drive or bus ride distance to Ravello and Positanol. Very private. Freedom to move around the villa. Luxurious rooms with luxe furnishings, airconditioning throughout, solarium (bbq area), foosball machine, ice box, sun lounges and breakfast or drinks by the pool, fantastic, incredibly helpful and friendly staff and never ending sunshine amongst lemon groves, olive trees, tomato vines and the rest of beautiful nature. The mountains above give a sense of majesty to the location, seriously its unmatched.

I didn't understand why the toast was so stale for breakfast, sorry team :( and I would've loved a nespresso machine at least in a communal setting so guests can make their own coffees through the day rather than the instant options. Perhaps even a vending machine with some snacks, long life milks (for tea and coffee) and options for light meals as the location is a distance from a supermarket or kiosk of any kind.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay and amazing help by Martina from the hotel. Very communicative and helpful with all my additional requests for a special occasion. We had the top room, the balcony is enormous with three seating areas and lounge beds. The views are wonderful. Everything is clean and well taken care off. The swimming pool is fantastic and also has great views. The garden is also a delight and well-kept. It was a magical experience and would 200% recommend. I cannot thank the staff enough! Following Martina's advice we went to the restaurant Da Ciccio next door, also a fantastic experience

Alecio was exceptionally amazing host. Villa Alba d’Oro was A Mountain Paradise with a Pool: Unforgettable Amalfi Escape. The villa itself was spacious, beautifully decorated with a charming local touch, and impeccably clean. It had all the amenities we could have wished for, making us feel right at home. The bedrooms were comfortable, ensuring restful nights after days spent exploring the coast. The highlight, without a doubt, was the stunning swimming pool. Nestled amidst lush greenery, it provided a tranquil oasis to cool off and soak in the incredible surroundings. We spent countless hours lounging by the poolside, enjoying the peace and quiet, a welcome escape from the more crowded coastal towns. While the villa offered a sense of secluded tranquility, it was also conveniently located for exploring the Amalfi Coast. A short (though sometimes winding!) drive took us to picturesque towns like Amalfi, Ravello, and Positano. Coming back to the peaceful mountain retreat after a day of sightseeing felt like coming home to our own private sanctuary.

We stayed in the Terrace Suite with a beautiful view of the Amalfi coast. The terrace has a fantastic view of the sunrise early in the morning. Alessio, Martina and Anna are great hosts. They do their very best to keep you satisfied. It's been months now since our visit and we still talk about the fabulous breakfast at this location. My family really enjoyed our trip to the Amalfi coast. This is a beautiful historic villa with nice amenities and adequately priced compared to some of the other options in the location. Before going there, we were a bit anxious about the number of steps as they clearly describe this in the property description, but it was not that bad at all. For anyone who knows more about the Amalfi coast region, everything is situated on hill side, so climbing up and down 100s of steps is a normal way of life.

Има околу 150 скали до Вилата. На почеток изгледаат тешки, ама кога ке се качите и видите погледот и амбиентот ги заборавате за секунда.

Beautiful view, helpful staff, and a peaceful location. The staff went above and beyond by assisting us with our suitcases using their hand-made lift. However, we were initially upset about our late check-in at around 9 PM, as the property wanted to charge an additional €40 for assistance at night. Thankfully, they ultimately waived the fee.

Our room lacked a proper window, with a door leading to a brick wall pit reminiscent of the bottom of a draw-well. This setup allowed no natural light and made the room quite damp. The top of the pit connected to the breakfast area, so we were awakened by other guests’ voices. Additionally, another room’s bathroom window opened into the same pit, and we could hear flushing noises. The breakfast was basic and could have been much better. It was disappointing that it wasn’t a buffet, with only one portion served per person. Please also note that there are about 100 steps to climb to reach the hotel. There is a lift for luggage, but it needs to be operated by the staff. We barely found a person to help us early morning when we were leaving. Please make arrangements with them in advance.

We like the quiet setting. We love the great view of Amalfi Coast and the mountains. We love the generous breakfast spread and the charm and hospitality of Alessio and the staff. They surely made our stay one for the books! We also like the parking.

The steps towards the villa can be challenging at the end of the day. For those with toddlers, the fence around the dining, swimming, and lounge area can be risky, so keep an eye out for them.

Pros: beautiful place and pretty much looks the same as the pictures provided. Amazing views of mountain and the sea. Breakfast was very nice and served near the pool. Martina & Alessio were very helpful and responsive catering to all our needs during the stay.

Nothing that we didn’t like about the property. Our stay was very pleasant and relaxing. There is flight of stairs to goto the villa but we were aware of that beforehand. For luggage there is a manual lift facility so that we didn’t have to carry anything.

The setting for the villa was utterly stunning, from the terrace you’re able to see up in the mountain, down along the amalfi coast and straight out over the water. Such an idyllic place to spend your time in amalfi. This is where you’ll be served breakfast every morning, which was the best we had during our stay in Italy. A continental breakfast which also included made to order eggs and delicious coffee - plenty of food to set you up for the day. The room was really nicely decorated in a very traditional style. There was a very comfy bed, lovely big and airy bathroom with a good shower (great water pressure). The vibe is traditional but luxurious - not for you if you like ultra modern interiors. We didn’t use the pool as we were so taken with the local beach and we only stayed a few days but it was always clean and looked very welcoming, with a view out over the coast I’m sure we would’ve enjoyed it if we’d stayed a little longer. The location was quiet and peaceful with a few restaurants just down the steps from the villa (the meal we had at the sister restaurant was delicious. You can easily access the historic centre of Amalfi on a short bus ride or a leisurely 45 minute walk along the coast. The hosts were fantastic, they could not do enough for us and answered all of our questions quickly. They even helped us out of a tricky situation when our taxi didn’t arrive to take us to the airport. Cannot praise them highly enough.

The only thing I would be cautious about is the steps to the villa - they’re absolutely not a problem but if you have any mobility issues might be a bit tricky. There’s a lift for luggage so that’s not a problem and you can’t get the views without the stairs so well worth it in my opinion.

Beautiful view, comfortable rooms and breakfast. Staff very gentle and keen to help and offer a good experience. It was very relaxing staying there.

The stairs to reach the hotel can be a challenge especially after a day full of activities. at least you don't need to climb up with your luggages.
