I had an excellent stay at NH Ancona. The breakfast was very good, and the location is great—no more than a 10-minute walk to a main street with shops and restaurants. The service was friendly and helpful. It’s very easy to get a taxi from the hotel; it usually arrives within 5 minutes. The train station is also very close by taxi. You could walk, but there are many stairs which can be challenging if you're carrying luggage.

The only downside is the elevated access to the hotel. There’s a steep uphill path and several stairs to reach the entrance. If you’re not in good physical condition, this could be uncomfortable or inconvenient.

Excellent location for ferry to mainland Greece, we have stayed here before. Room very good , breakfast excellent and evening meal good too. Sadly when we checked out we headed towards the port only to receive a Text from Anek telling us they were on strike as many other travelers also got 30 minutes before Check in !, We hung around the port hoping to get some informations for 6 hrs. To no avail. We went back to hotel exhausted the staff made us very welcome we had a coffee, then enquired if any rooms were available for another night. The staff found a cancellation thank goodness. We stayed here another night due to the Ferries on strike, the Reception staff could not of been more helpful re - allocating a room for me near the elevator ( due to slow mobility)the hotel was full but the staff went above & beyond for my husband & myself. Thank you so much everyone.

We had a fantastic stay at NH Ancona for my birthday weekend! From the moment we arrived, we received a super warm welcome from the lovely and attentive staff. There’s even a welcome corner with water and sweets, which was such a nice touch. Our room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and had everything we needed—kettle, bathrobes, toothbrushes, and all the amenities were eco-friendly, which we really appreciated. The location is also great, just a short walk to the city centre and with a beautiful view of the cathedrals. Highly recommend staying here—would definitely come back!

Surprisingly comfortable stay: spacious room, excellent bed, we had a good rest. Very clean, room had everything you might need. Good position, close enough to train and ferry, and yet close to old town. The stuff - gentleman in the evening shift - was VERY kind and gave us super helpful information about our upcoming ferry travel. Breakfast - also very good, plenty of options, home made cakes, pastries, local specialties, the best breakfast we had on our whole trip, my 11-year old boy enjoyed it. The old town is within 10-15min walk, easily.

Not really a minus, but the route to hotel is uphill, which can be challenging for some people, especially with luggage.

We had a lovely stay at this NH property. Our room was nice, comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful. Especially since we had phone issues. So many thanks for calling taxi's for us and pointing us in the direction we wanted to go.

I wouldn't say Not Like. However, It is on a hill. So if you have mobility issues you may want a car or be prepared to take a taxi.

Excellent view over the harbor, quick walk into the center and old town. Good and varied breakfast with fruit, egg, pastry, cereals. On site parking. Windows had shutters to get it really dark.

The beds are a bit soft (1st floor) and the room was a bit beyond best state (but still good). The rooms are not very well noise-insulated, but still above usual Italian standard.

This is a great hotel in a great location with really excellent staff The room overlooking the harbour was spotless large and comfortable with the perfect bed With secure parking and excellent extensive breakfast it’s a brilliant hotel we have stayed in many times and it never disappoints

Nice hotel, clean with very friendly personnel. It is located up in a hill with a view looking at the Harbor. Near the city center, the place is ideal for a short stay in Ancona before taking the ferry. I will certainly stay again! Nice and complete breakfast with all standard things available. And an excellent Italian coffee!

Maybe a better quality of the towels, at least the one set we had was rather used and probably towards the limit of replacement.

The hotel is fairly convenient to reach from the port where we were arriving from Greece early evening. As time was getting on we had our evening meal at the hotel which was excellent.

I didn't think the breakfast was up to the standard of other NH Hotels we have stayed at, but it was ok.

We were in Ancona for business and didn't have too much time to enjoy the hotel's amenities, but the customer service was one of the best we have experienced in a long time. We were also very impressed with the qualitiy of the breakfast buffet. Looking forward to retuning one day to enjoy all the hotel has to offer.
