Excellent location outside the centre of Assisi. Very nice and comfortable, large garden to sit when weather permits A WONDERFUL view of the valley from most or all rooms (we had 6 rooms, all with a wonderful view)

It's not that I didn't like, but if you're lookig for a place that you just step out to the streets of the town, this isn't the place. I don't know if that's a negative point (for me it's a positive point) but you should know that.

Room: The room was super clean and the balcony had a great view with 2 chair and table. Our room was very noise during the evening is we left the window open do to a road. Pool and garden: The garden around was spotless and the pool was great. Breakfast: it was very good. Staff very professional. The space was spacious. Restaurant: good food and not expensive. The distance from Assisi gate: the hotel is situated at 15 minutes walk. Transport: their is a bus stop just next to the hotel entrance with buses passing very often. This buses will take you to Assisi. They work on time.

The noise from the road during the evening but if one closes the window will be complete silence.

Hotel La Terraza, Assisi: A Perfect Family Stay Hotel La Terraza in Assisi is an absolute gem. We are a family of four from Argentina (my husband, two kids, and I). We had an exceptional stay, thanks to the kind hospitality and the hotel's many amenities. The hotel is impeccably clean and airy, offering spectacular bedroom views. Breakfast service was excellent, and the location is incredibly convenient, just steps from Assisi's historic center. We loved the immaculate gardens and the beautiful pool. The wellness center is a great bonus. Parking is also available. This hotel is a must-stay in Assisi. We will definitely return!

Location is just outside Assisi but only 10 - 20 mins walk to St Claire church, and you pass a supermarket. Has WiFi which was best in reception. Pretty Pool area but was too cold to use. I got upgraded to the 3rd floor after returning to tecotion as original room was very dark (ground floor) and its windows faced a wall with heating exit vents, so wasn’t happy keeping them open (I try to avoid using aircon when possible). I’d requested a room with a view and ended up getting one, thank you, on the 3rd floor, there is a lift. Great views from bedroom and bathroom windows. Spacious shower, good pressure. THE best Aperol Spritzer in Assisi made by v friendly lady receptionist! There is a Bar & restaurant on site. Great variety of foods at breakfast beautifully presented eg fruit, yoghurts, cereal, breads, cake etc Some staff were very friendly despite my very limited Italian. Has parking.

Had 2 evening meals which were sadly disappointing, bread was stale. FYA very little choice if you do not eat red meat. Grilled vegetables cooked unimaginably. Fish had lots of bones, served lukewarm. Cannot order a glass of wine at dinner, minimum is a small bottle. Was shown an unmade single room which looked v small and dark, so recommend checking what room you are booking. Manager was sometimes friendly but sometimes came across as angry (stress?), which I found a bit unnerving. Noticed small black bugs (like miniature beetles) in corridor.

The beautiful building is in an excellent location, a little outside the busy city, in a quiet area. The busstop is just behind the house, from were the small bus takes you as far as the Basilica. The hotel is separated from the Francesco way only by another street and is a wonderful place for a break or the end of the pilgrimage. Especially the large pool and the beautiful garden little garden invite you to relax and reflect. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food of the restaurant is good as well, while the breakfast is mostly Italien ( that means cakes, cakes, cakes ) up to a little bread, cheese and salami.

My single room was rather small, just enough space to walk around the bed, but you don’t have to give up anything. Everything is nicely done. The view of the room gives a view of an opposite wall less than two meters away, although booking.com said: view with a sight. An exhaust fan outside next to the window ran day and night and was annoying. There are very nice rooms at the hotel, but maybe in another price group. I still enjoyed my stay very much .

It has the best pool on our travels to date. They let us check in really early. The room had an amazing view over the Umbria Valley. On the morning we left they let us start our breakfast 30 minutes early.

Nothing to dislike.

It would have been nice to have had a kettle etc in the room and we were surprised to find we would be charged to use spa so we didn’t

This is a very nice hotel with a relatively large swimming pool, considering its size. Swimming in the pool was quite refreshing after the whole day's walk throughout Assisi's old town. The hotel is located in a very quiet and pleasant suburb of Assisi (about 10-15 minutes' walk from the Assisi main gate).

The breakfast could be better. The number of choices was small, particularly for a vegetarian (e.g., there was no vegetable). Apart from that, all the rest was perfect.

Room was spacious enough for two. The view from the rooms and pool is breathtaking. Breakfast was a continental type breakfast and had enough choice for us. The dining room was very spacious and gave each table 'breathing' space. The pool and surroundings were excellent - plenty of sun loungers and large umbrellas for shade. The pool was large enough (looked like 15 to 20m?) to undertake a good swimming session, if required. The hotel itself is approximately a 25 minute stroll into the main square in Assisi. Walking back in the dark was problematic on one night as the road lights had been switched off...so take a torch just in case.

The only negative was that the superior rooms were in an annex to the hotel, which was situated near to a quite noisy road. No problem if sleeping inside with the windows shut and the air conditioning on as the double glazing insulated the room from the noise. These rooms also have a balcony, which overlooks a small parking area and also quite close to a plant room (for air conditioning, maybe). So, if you are wanting to have a quiet drink on the balcony, the noise can be a distraction.

The hotel was in a good location, walki g distance to the town. It was very clean and the pool had beautiful views. Breakfadt was also very good for Italian standards.

The lack of privacy in the rooms. No windows, just a glass door with curtain where everyone walking pass can see you. The rooms are tiny and apparently we were upgraded for free. Not a great design of accommodation.
