The hotel was situated on one of the main streets in Assisi, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The location is stunning! Georgia was on the front desk for both days of my stay and she was sensational, she advised me of parking, talked me through everything. And helped me settle my check out early as my flight was early the next day (she even made a little breakfast bag for me to take with me!) Room was modern and minimalistic, but still had all the essentials needed for a lovely stay. The AC worked a treat which was such a bonus for me coming from a colder climate

I loved everything, but good to note that the parking isn’t onsite. Separate carpark with discount for people staying in the hotel. There also isn’t an elevator but I was assisted with my bags on arrival so not an issue for me!

Check-in was smooth, and the staff gave me useful information about the hotel. The room was very comfortable, with clean sheets and a simple, tidy layout. One of the windows offers a view of the Santa Lucia Cathedral, and there’s also a balcony, which is a nice touch. The bathroom had everything I needed. Although there’s no coffee machine in the room, they provide capsules for use on the second floor. The price was fair for the quality of the stay.

There was a noticeable smell from the bathroom drains, and the balcony chairs were quite dusty, so I couldn’t really use them. At breakfast, the food was fine, but the coffee and juice from the machines weren’t great, and the staff didn’t seem particularly engaged. With a few small improvements, this could easily be a five-star experience.

Very central. Very helpful staff, nothing too much for them. Really excellent selection for breakfast. Very quiet, considering the location. They kept our luggage for us, even though we had a late evening flight, this made our day so much easier.

Would have been great to have had a loo near the reception or breakfast room, as there are a lot of stairs to go back to your room. I fully understand that it would be difficult to accommodate one in such an old building though.

The room we had was a bit plain and could use a paint job & sprucing up. The bathroom had been done more recently and was lovely. Several of our older kids were in the room next to us and their room was lovely. The staff was very friendly and accommodates our request to have the rooms close together. Our daughter had stayed in the suites which a different building, which she said were also very nice. Assisi is a beautiful town atop the hill. Very peaceful at night and a worthy pilgrimage.

Our room was a bit too plain and there were lots of marks and smudges on the walls. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was small but very well stocked and was housed in the beautiful restaurant. We had an amazing meal in the hotel restaurant, the food was exceptional and very good value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel location was perfect, central to all the beautiful sites of Assisi.

Being a historic building there was no lift.

The location was great.the staff were all very nice and welcoming. The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was also small, but good. The breakfast was good. Had everything you would like for breakfast. Parking was a short walk from the hotel.

There was no ramp to the reception, from the outside. No lifts either, so small suitcases are a must.

Room was exactly as advertised and plenty of space. Loved that we could look directly out of the shutters onto the Main Street below. Hotel was only a couple of minutes walk to the main square which was perfect and made it easy to meet up with other from our party. All of the staff were super helpful and friendly and made booking taxis and storing luggage as easy as possible. We felt immediately welcome and loved the traditional decor and art in the building. We were only there for 1 night but would have happily stayed longer.

Nothing.

The hotel was really close to the Vatican City. We were able to go easily to the Basilica of St Peter’s and be in line early for the Papal Audience. Our room had a beautiful balcony. So many restaurants nearby to choose from and overall great area to stay at. Will definitely recommend to stay at this hotel and will comeback and stay here.

The breakfast was average, only ate breakfast at the hotel one day out of the 3 days of our stay.

The Asisium is a great hotel in a great location. It's right in the heart of Assisi so it's close to everything you want to see and do. The staff is wonderful and willing to help with anything you need. There's a small refrigerator in the room, stocked with some water, pop and juice. There was a full breakfast every morning and the food was delicious. Great way to start the day!

There wasn't anything I didn't like, but there were a few things to be aware of. There is no elevator. We were originally on the third floor but requested to be moved to the first floor after the first day. They accommodated us without any issues but if the hotel is full and you don't feel like you can walk up a lot of stairs you should request a room on the first floor at booking. The room was small. I would pay a little extra to get a bigger room. Our friends had a large room with an outside balcony. It was wonderful. On the other hand, Assisi will wear you out so our room, even though small, had everything we needed after a long day to get a good nights sleep.

The breakfast was the best we had at any of the places we stayed in Italy. The staff is very accommodating and just wonderful people. The bathrooms are huge and the shower area is massive for Europe. This is a fully remodeled place and clearly a boutique hotel. The location is in the heart of the city and just steps away from the main piazza.

There are no laundry facilities anywhere in Assisi proper. This is not a fault of the hotel. None of the hotel properties I checked had laundry facilities and there are no laundramats.
