The room, as expected, was comfortable, and the availability of breakfast, featuring traditional cakes, added a delightful start to our mornings. Visiting during the Christmas season was an absolute treat. The entire area was adorned with festive lights and decorations, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. Enjoying lovely sunsets against this backdrop added a magical touch to our holiday. The ancient medieval village was nothing short of charming. Every corner seemed to be lifted from a fairy tale, offering picturesque views that captured the essence of the region. The misty mornings, with clouds drifting in, added a mystical and enchanting quality to the surroundings. Exploring the local dining scene was a pleasure, with many good restaurants in close proximity. The area felt safe for evening walks, even after dark, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the charm of the surroundings. As our stay came to an end, the only regret we had was not being able to extend it. The desire to visit again and stay longer is strong, a testament to the wonderful experience we had. Charming hotel right next to the square and surrounded by restaurants, and a five minute walk from the Piazza Matteotti bus stop. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and cosy and the bed very big and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate and included a variety of cold cuts, cakes and cereals, etc. I loved that they had tea time included in the afternoon.

You have to climb a flight of steep steps to get to the door so not ideal for people with mobility issues.

This is a check-yourself in hotel, so we didn't meet staff until breakfast the next morning. That said, our hostess was very courteous and helpful. The location is very convenient (walking distance) to all areas within the walled city. Breakfast was good and the hotel was clean. It was a good value overall.

Facilities are a bit dated, our bathroom had a shower head, though no shower stall - there was a drain in the bathroom floor. This worked, though somewhat inconvenient and hard to keep from getting much of the bathroom wet. I don't think our room had air conditioning, though it wasn't needed in late September when we visited.

We were at the heart of Assisi. Sometimes, we stopped in our hotel to go to the toilet between visits, as it was always near the main points. The bed sheets and towels were spotless and white, impeccable. On top of that, the possibility of accessing the dining area at any time made our stay much smoother. We arrived late and could still eat something before sleeping; another day, we drank tea before bed. Lastly, the team working there is super friendly and helpful. Stefano was a super host during our stay. We would come back.

The hotel had a lot of character and a comfortable BNB feel. The room was clean and had a beautiful view of Assisi rooftops and the countryside. The breakfast/tea room was a lovely touch. We were able to make cappuccino's in the afternoon before exploring Assisi. Breakfast had a nice variety...breads, sweets, meat and cheese, yogurt, fruit, cereal and all variety of coffee/ teas. We enjoyed our stay!

Location right in the middle of town, next to the central square, in a picture-perfect building. Unsurpassed views from a common attic with large windows. Buffet breakfast. Very clean. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Despite some shortcomings, staying here was almost a magical experience

Beds not too comfortable but clean. Showering gets the whole bathroom wet. Despite this, we would still highly recommend this hotel

I loved the front desk STAFF and I loved the roof top bar. The Bartista Was superb!!! He was exceptional, professional and the kindest gentleman who served with Grace and Courtesy. Your front desk staff are the best in the Industry!!! I will go back to review their names...but Thank you for the best experience ever....I will be back and I already have raved to friends and family about Hotel Tratt

This was the second time I stayed at this hotel. Perfectly located, and a short walk from both the main piazza, and also the local bus stop. Very comfortable room, with a nice breakfast. Ability to check in independently. Storage of bags possible, before check in and after checkout.

Loved the coffee & drink machine & the breakfast offerings were varied. Steps from the center of town & handy to everything. We had stayed there before & knew what to expect. Be sure to check out the tower room!

The bedroom & bath were compact, but this WAS a return visit so we knew what to expect.

This was a great place. Located in the heart of Assisi, perfect place to see all the sites and experience Assisi. Host was very friendly. Place was clean and comfortable. Like all Italian hill towns parking is an issue, but this hotel was just a short walk from public parking. Highly recommend.
