Amazing location. The property is adjacent to the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, where St. Carlo Acutis is interred.(30 second walk) and two minutes from the cathedral of St. Clare of Assisi. The Papal Basilica of St. Francis is a ten minute walk. Surrounded by food options. The views are amazing from every window, and especially the balcony. Very responsive staff. When I observed that the lounge chairs were damaged, two new ones appeared the next day.

Europe is in the midst of a heat wave, and one of the air conditioner units was broken. It got quite warm, but the three remaining units kept it tolerable.

Loved the experience - accommodation in century-old mansion with its antique atmosphere and furniture, but at the same time very spacious, comfortable and at the heart of Assisi. Each room or suite has its own unique design. We had two rooms during our stay, both absolutely lovely and very different from each other. One featured a charming private yard, while the other had a terrace with a stunning view of a nearby church. We were lucky enough to enjoy a live concert at the church one evening, accompanied by a glass of wine from our terrace — a magical moment. Communication with reception was smooth and friendly, and they were kind enough to store our luggage as well. Fully recommend the place, as it is unique.

One small suggestion: it would be great to have some basic toiletries provided, such as soap.

Our room was a short 15 minute walk to see the Basilica of St. Francis, my wife had wanted to go there her entire life. We brought our children along to share in this incredible experience. The room appeared to be in an old convent, it was a beautiful and rustic experience. It enhanced our spiritual journey. The room was also the most spacious we have had since being in Italy. Overall, I would like to graciously thank the staff for allowing us to stay there.

The only issues we had was that we have hyperactive toddlers and couldn’t figure out a way to lock the door going to the terrace connected to the room, so I had to block the door with chairs.

This space was perfect for our family of four and we could have fit more!! The balcony and view were incredible and we had the doors open to see the view anytime we were at the place. With two bathrooms, two bedrooms, and a living area it is very spacious! Adorable courtyard. So close to everything!! We loved it!!

While a little outdated in decor, our family loved the old time vibes! The parking was a little hard to figure out- but we parked at the Mojave parking lot and the escalators took us right up to the hotel!!

What a fabulous place to stay in Assisi. The view from the terrace is sublime, the rooms are huge and well appointed. It's close to all the main sights without being in the centre of it all, and quiet generally. The staff were excellent, helpful and friendly, and the rooms got cleaned every day. An absolute gem in a gorgeous old building, and that view is worth every penny.

The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. The armoire was stocked with fridge, sink and dishes. What a surprise! The bed ws comfortable, but the view was worth every penny! Or euro! It was a short walk to all of the historic and religious sites in Assisi. Also, parking in the lot below was extremely convenient. It is the second time I have stayed here. Our key was left in an envelope on the reception desk door. If I am here again, this is where I will stay.

We arrived within the time frame specified, but there was no one there to greet us. Another couple also arrived a bit later and were very confused about which room was theirs. We helped them and showed them how to unlock the door.

If we came back to Assisi we would stay here again. The apartment was huge and had a large balcony overlooking the valley beneath Assisi. The accommodation is in the central area so it is not far to walk anywhere. If I knew the accommodation would be this nice, we would have stayed an extra day in Assisi. The accommodation also provides everything you will need for the stay, including tea/coffee and some small breakfast snacks. Highly recommended.

Exceptional location. Right next to Carlo Acutis’ burial site and the city center. Bring a former friar convent, our apartment had its own private garden with a lovely view of the Umbria valley.

Miscommunication with facility before our arrival and there was no one to advise us properly. We had to call booking.com to communicate with owner. But when Dante arrived he was wonderfully welcoming and kind and very helpful.

Our suite was huge with a large living room and adjoining bedroom with incredible vaulted ceilings and an interior that featured frescoes and other features that enhanced the medievel architecture. We also had exclusive use of a large outdoor garden with a water well and an incredible view of the nearby cathedral and the Umbria Valley below. Absolutely enchanting.

breakfast was small and contained in the mini bar and could have been better. An arrangement with a nearby cafe would have been a better solution.

The apartment was spacious and had a sweeping balcony with a stunning view. The property had old world charm and comfort, yet still had a nice flat screen tv. There was a refrigerator/small kitchen tucked away. Air conditioning was adequate and staff were great. Check out was 10 am, so we felt a little rushed. Otherwise it was great.

Early chk out, no breakfast
