The host was great, fast response and attentive. The staff was kind and helpful with everything, the place was very clean, the location for what I need to do was awesome. The bed was comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay.

Central position, staff at the property was really good and friendly

A bit of misinformation about the breakfast, we thought it was included as per booking but we had to pay separately instead. We ended up buying something from outside instead

The location was great with a car. The street parking is easy and right outside the building. (There is a garage available, but we didn't use it.) There's a supermarket and cafe within 2 minutes walk. It wasn't too loud at night, and that was even with a Napoli soccer game happening! We didn't drive into downtown Naples, but the guest house is about 30-45 min from the airport, 45 min from Pozzuoli (cute port town on the far side of Napoli), 35 min from Herculaneum. The host responded very quickly to all our concerns over Whatsapp. The check-in and check-out were both done through a lockbox with the keys, and it was seamless. We used the quadruple room for our family of 4 and the two twin beds in one room and the queen and a sofa bed in the other were comfy and there was plenty of room and dressers, and even a little balcony. Not a lot of natural light and it's on the 1st/ground floor. There's 1 communal bathroom with a toilet and a shower (with multifunction shower head). There's a communal kitchen area with a gas stove with 2 burners, a sink, toaster, kettle, tea, fridge, vending machine with water/coffee pods/chocolate bars, coffee machine (pods come with breakfast, or you can buy more in the vending machine).

The breakfast in the room was ok: packaged toasts and cakes with jam and nutella, juice boxes, coffee pods--not quite as beautiful as it looks in the photos. Fresh pastries were delivered in the mornings, but it was a bit late for us (around 9am, and not on Mondays). Sharing a bathroom can be hit or miss, for us it was mostly ok. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked, and we only had showering-schedule conflicts a couple times over our 3 days.

I booked this guesthouse for the tour trip. I got message about "check-in until 23:30" after that and haven't seen it. My work was finished unfortunately at 3 a.m. When we came to the guesthouse they didn't let us in cause it was "too late" We even offered to pick up the keys somewhere, where it's more convenient, because we just wanted to sleep for a few hours before the plane. But the host was not flexible and we had to find another place during the night. It was terrible and I suggest not choosing this guesthouse if you have late arrivals or any concern about time. Of course we paid the whole amount for that "experience" and didn't get any money back.

I forgot to enter the ages of my children when making the reservation. Instead of receiving a warning message, I don't why the reservation was made for one adult and three children who were all listed as 0 years old, which was very strange. After being asked 140 euros more as additional fees. I tried to imitate my situation with another structure. It showed us that we should pay 20 euros more per day. But this structure forced me 140 euros for two days, which equals 70 euros per day: 3,5 time more the normal price. I couldn't cancel the reservation and make a new one. Having the possibility to let my children with my wife stay in her friend's home and hoping to at least receive the reserved service for myself, I went to the address without my children and clearly explained that I was there alone. However, the property didn't show up. They claimed they had informed Booking.com and told me that they could cancel the reservation by midnight, essentially forcing me to pay the extra 140 euros regardless of the situation. Communication with this person was impossible. Thankfully, my friend let me stay in her room. For us this kind of behavior from the property is inhuman and dishonest.
