This property was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful and we thought the location was ideal. The breakfast is set up as a shared table with other B&B guests and the food was wonderful - we especially enjoyed the fresh cheese and cakes on offer. Our experience was greatly improved through our interactions with Martino who met us on check-in. He introduced us to Bari and gave thorough instructions on which parts of the city we should see, and gave us advice on local day trips to Alberobello/Monopoli/Polignano. He kindly carried our bags up the stairs, showed us around our room and explained how to use the shower and in-room coffee machine, and makes the hot drinks each morning at breakfast. 11/10 for Martino!

I couldn't give this property less than 10/10, but do note that the shower is a bit unique and we found the water pressure a bit low (it was somewhat difficult to wash long hair). The room was also slightly warm for our liking, however Martino messaged us that there may have been an issue with our heating and had someone look into it while we were out which was greatly appreciated.

What's not to like? The host, Martino, could not have been nicer or more helpful. Communicating in advance and always on hand during our stay with help and advice. The accomodation is in a refurbished Bari tower house with 3 floors and two rooms on each floor with a roof terrace. We had the room on the top floor which was nicely furnished, clean and quiet and even had our own balcony with seats. The bed was very comfortable with a choice of pillows, fridge and coffee maker were provided. WiFi and AC good. Because the B&B only accomodated 12 people it took the unusual step of seating ua for breakfast around a single, large island which we loved. Choice of food for breakfast was excellent with lots of fresh, local produce and fantastic coffee made to order by Martino. We also received advice on and booking for a walking tour. Taxi booked for our departure to the airport.

Kind, friendly and helpful staff. Bright and clean room with really comfy beds. Breakfast was varied and good. The location is very good, near the old city center and lots of restaurants and supermarkets. The view from the rooms is part a parking lot but also the Castelo Svevo so it was good. One of the rooms had a balcony to relax at the end of the day, once that it was not so hot outside. There is other parking a little further from the hotel (10min walking) that is cheaper, like 6€ per day.

Everything was okey, no complaints. If we ever come back to Bari, surely we will stay here again.

The location of Al Pescatore is excellent, a stone's throw away from the Swabian Fort and right on the edge of the city center which is filled with alleyways and restaurants. Martino, our host, was kind and helpful and the offerings at breakfast daily were fresh and delicious. No hot entrees offered, but not needed because the quiches, fruit, cheeses and breads, hit the spot. There is a small daily parking charge and the covered lot is about a 2-block walk away. You can pre-pay in and out privileges in cash upon arrival. It was a bit cumbersome figuring out how to apply the pre-paid code for in and out of the garage initially but once we figured it out, it was easy.

Stairs are mandatory so you must be prepared for this. Martino took our bags up three flights of stairs for us and we're grateful. The rooms are small but modern and very clean. The only downside was no seating area in the room, only one foot stool. We had a balcony with two chairs but no table so after-touring hours there was little comfort to sit and relax in our room.

Absolutely fantastic stay and Martino went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous. Pity we only stayed one night! Bed was extremely comfy, bathroom and shower were great, fabulous rooftop terrace, and excellent location. Martino helped us with tons of useful info, recommended a fantastic place to have dinner, booked us a car to get to the airport at dawn and even made us a delicious packed breakfast. We definitely highly recommend this BnB! Thank you for everything!

Staff, accomodations, locations and breakfast far exceded our expectations. The hotel is located so that in less than 15 minutes you can walk to the main locations of interest in Bari. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They will set up private tours and transportation that were the best we have experienced in Italy. A great value and we will stay there again we we return to Bari. Highly recommended!!!!

It was pretty close to perfect. No complaints about anything.

Great location, easy access by car, and just 2 minutes walk from the historical center. Front of you the hotel is a big parking place, but just for local citizens! We dropped the luggages front of the hotel and drive to the Parcheggio Saba Porto garage. We left the car here. (700 meter, and I payed 12 euro / 20 hours) The room pretty and absolutely clean, the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast room very designed, the breakfast was quality. All together it’s perfect accommodation with reasonable price!

We loved our stay here! The room was extremely clean with a cute balcony. We arrived late at night hungry. All shops were closed, so it was really nice to find a package with the local bread slices that the host left for us in the room. The location is perfect! Close to the nice sandy beach Lido San Francesco where you can rent a sunbed and umbrella for the whole day. The dining room is very authentic and offers great breakfast with local fruits, fish and cheeses. Highly recommend this place!

Great location at the edge of the old town. Everything is walking distance. Safe & convenient parking a couple blocks away. The place is modern but cozy. Room was very spacious. Good breakfast. Martino runs the place beautifully. He gave us very useful instructions from how to get there by car to where to fill the tank by the airport.

There is no elevator but Martino helped us with our luggage. We wished we had stayed an extra night there in Bari.
