First of all, this apartment is located PERFRCTLY !!! At The very begining of the Old Bari City , in front of the Svevo Castle... very close from all the best restaurants. As I opened the door there where the old ladies that make hand made paste. I also Think it is a big plus that the person in charge was very very nice from The begginig until the end..brought us water every day, changed towels, and he helped us with bookings for restaurants, helped us with cabs .. cause cabs are a problem in Bari. We also had our little daughter with us and he was very understanding for the little problems that she caused.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast in Bari, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The apartment was perfectly located in the heart of the city, allowing us to explore everything on foot, yet it was incredibly quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful and restful sleep. Our host, Roberto, was simply exceptional. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with warmth and genuine kindness. Every morning, Roberto prepared a delightful breakfast in the apartment, made with fresh, local ingredients. His attentiveness didn’t stop there—he took the time to chat with us each day, eager to hear about our plans and offering fantastic recommendations for places to visit and dine. Roberto’s hospitality made our stay not just comfortable, but truly memorable. His local insights and thoughtful gestures added a special touch that we will never forget. We left Bari with not only wonderful memories but also a deep sense of gratitude for the care Roberto showed us. If you’re visiting Bari, we wholeheartedly recommend staying here. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality. We would give more than five stars if we could!

Roberto was fantastic. He explained the room, history about the property and offered suggestions for sightseeing. He assisted in booking a taxi out of town. Each morning, he made Capuchino's for us and prepared an awesome breakfast in our room. Being immediately above the Little Ear pasta street made for a memorable stay.

Just a note for any future guests - If you have mobility issues, ask about stairs. We did just fine.

Very well-furnished, with everything you could need. Breakfast was a plentiful and varied selection including fruit, veg, cheese, yoghurt, egg, bread, and delicious pastries. Roberto was superb - he really cares about making sure your stay is comfortable and you have everything you need. Also the location is perfect for seeing Bari, just on the edge of the Old Town.

For me this wasn't an issue - but you should know that the room is inside a tower and the stairs between the living area downstairs and the bedroom & bathroom upstairs are quite steep.

Roberto was the most incredible host we could have asked for. He met us after midnight to make sure we got to the home comfortably and immediately welcomed us with a bottle of wine. On his day off he came back and brought us the biggest breakfast spread we've ever seen, he is generous warm and kind and made this stay extremely special, even though it was short. The room was absolutely perfect and the location was a dream, being steps away from the famous Nonnas making fresh pasta. Overall a perfect stay, couldn’t recommend more

Thank you for your welcome and care throughout. The accommodation was amazing- in a historic building in the heart of the old city- easy to get to and close to all the life of this city.

Roberto was the perfect host. My friend and myself stayed for two nights at Dimora Arco Basso. It is a beautiful apartment in one of the oldest historic buildings in Bari. Great location and great facilities. The breakfasts were amazing - Roberto was extremely generous and I am sorry I couldn't eat all the pastries. We visited during the intense heatwave but inside the apartment was pretty cool. Just down the steps are all the pasta makers and sellers. Would definitely stay here again.

The only possible thing to be careful of is the staircase up to the bedroom which is quite steep and would not be suitable for a very elderly person or very young child.

Owner is super helpful, kind and friendly. He had an amazing breakfast ready for us in the morning. He was waiting outside to greet us, helped us with our bags, and was just over all extremely great.

Walking up to the room, it had an extremely strong cigarette smell. The room itself was very clean but had a stale/lingering cigarette smell as well. Not sure if it was just from the outside but that would be the only negative thing I have to say.

Best location! Roberto was amazing, greeting us and helping make our stay memorable. The renovation on the place is top notch. Highly recommend.

If you have a car be aware that the "available parking" is actually a town parking lot a short distance away. You still have to pay - approximately 10 Euros a night.

What about a great location !! And cool history of the room and building . The Kings helper at the time . This room was awesome . Breakfast was the best I’ve ever been served at an Airbnb. Our host helped in so many ways and speaks 7 languages. Right out your door your taken back to olden days and ways
