This place really is exceptional. I can't believe there's anywhere better in Cala Gonone. The panoramic view from the restaurant and breakfast area is incredible, rooms are clean with lovely balcony and views, but best of all is how welcoming and friendly the family that run L'Oasi are. They were so helpful with all of our questions, going out of their way to help. The food at the restaurant was the best we had in Cala Gonone. I hope to come back some day!

Nothing! The shortcut climb back up from the village is steep, but we knew that beforehand from reviews.

This hotel is a good example of what Italy does well. Good quality beautiful craftsmanship that is looked after and maintained beautifully. This means the decor is either classic or old fashioned depending on your view but importantly the sustainable option. The hotel also makes every effort to preserve their environment. The views are amazing and you are surrounded by stunning flowers. The breakfast was delightful and gave opportunity to admire the view further. We would come here again.

There were no chairs on the balcony but to be fair we didn't bring this to their attention and give them the opportunity to rectify.

Beautiful view over the coastline, very nice and helpful family run and operated, lovely homemade dinners available for guests and great breakfast with lots of options.Steps to the panoramic coastal trail and just at base of hill to go to the caves. If you are coming from Olbia way make sure you stop at the pull off just across the bridge if you happen to hit it around sunset there is a gorgeous view down the valley.

Not on issue for me as I drove, but something to check into before booking, might be difficult to get to without a car as not sure if buses or shuttles run in peak season as didn't see any while I was there in the off season.

We had a wonderful stay! Spectacular sea view, kind and attentive staff, great breakfasts, dinners with delicious local dishes in private atmosphere (for us it turned out to be better than at any restaurant in the city). Beautiful garden with many levels and lovely secluded areas perfect for reading and relaxing.

For us it was perfect 😌 Just something to consider: the ascent to the hotel from the city is quite steep, so be prepared to climb.

The entire atmosphere of the hotel was lovely: they kept the great features from the 70's, but modernized the place where it was needed. The garden is beautiful, well kept. The view is absolutely astonishing. We didn't get the chance to enjoy the dinner they offer, but the breakfasts were delicious: great variety, excellent quality food and something for everyone while you can sit and enjoy the view. We only stayed for two nights, but could easily spend several weeks there. I also have to mention the staff: everyone was very welcoming and sweet. Furthermore the room had a little fridge (which wasn't necessary available in other accommodations) and a drying rack for clothes on the balcony. Very practical! There's also plenty of parking on the premises.

It's not something I didn't like, but you need to be aware of the fact that going from the town up to the hotel by foot you need to climb quite steep streets and some steps. It is doable, but you should be prepared for it. Maybe the towels could be improved.

Our stay at Hotel L'Oasi was a delightful experience. The breakfast was superb, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The beautiful, relaxing garden provided a perfect spot to unwind, while the secluded cliffside ocean view was simply breathtaking. As a cute family-owned business, Hotel L'Oasi exuded warmth and charm. The value for money was outstanding, and the location close to the city center yet in a quiet, peaceful environment made it an ideal choice for our vacation. We are grateful for Massimo and Catherina's hospitality and would happily return in the future. Thank you for creating such a wonderful space!

While still very comfortable and clean, the rooms are a bit dated, so if you're traveling from abroad, it's useful to bring a plug adapter. Although the hotel provides them at no extra charge, it might still be good to be prepared.

We loved hotel L'Oasi and we highly recommend it. It was really comfortable, clean and quite relaxing. The breakfast was good and we loved the view from the balcony. We especially liked the friendly and helping staff.

It is a bit uphill so if you don't have a car it may be harder for you to get to the center and back. But if you own a car, you won't notice this and you would enjoy the hotel.

The Seaview was excellent since our room is on the left of the floor, we had the full view of the sea and the gulf from the balcony, the breakfast is excellent and delicious, the staff are extremely friendly and could even remember what coffee we would like to drink for breakfast, the view of dinner is also very nice with the excellent atmosphere.

The position of this hotel is simply stunning, words cannot describe. It is a little way out of the town, so very quiet. There is a shortcut to town, but quite a climb on the return journey. The staff cannot do enough for you and it is apparent this is a small family run hotel. Whilst we did not have dinner there we received reports that the food was excellent. We did however have breakfast which was plentiful. We had a large room overlooking the sea. Cannot wait to return.

The hotel is located at the side of the mountain with a spectacular view of the town. The large glass covered terrace is overlooking the bay. You can enjoy this view during breakfast and early hours of dinner. Amazing staff. They really trying to make your stay the most enjoyable you have experienced so far! Excellent meals and thé chef is a true master!
