When you arrive they take €200. When you settle the bill they don’t deduct the €200 they took from the bill. They retain that and say they will return that on 1-3 days. For people who are budgeting their foreign currency and potentially need that €200 to pay a taxi back to the airport or similar they might not have the spare cash to afford not getting this €200 euros back on leaving. I’ve never seen this in all my days or holiday travels and I think it’s wrong.

We liked everything except for the connecting doors. Wonderful staff, clean, cosy and stylish hotel. Super wide bed, comfortable mattress, rich and diverse breakfast.

Unfortunately our room had two connecting doors (and plus one entrance of course :)) that were not blocking any sounds, felt like we were sharing the same room with two other couples nextdoor.

The park is incredible, the building was so full of history and antiques. The staff were very friendly and they fulfilled every request that we had.

The location is stunning and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast next to the pool was excellent. The pool is clean and refreshing and it is convenient to have a pool bar. Our room had a comfortable bed and was very clean. The sheets and towels were changed daily. It is a perfect place to relax and explore.

The restaurant in the evening was not open but there were many other restaurants nearby.

The property was very nice. We really liked the historic Tuscan villa feel and the size of the property and amenities. The breakfast was excellent in a very comfortable setting and very large selection of delicious food. The location of the property was very good, right near lots of restaurants and right across from the beach. The hotel was associated with two very nice beach clubs. One of the concierge (Male) was very helpful in arranging dinner reservations and beach club reservations.

There was one concierge (Female) who was not very helpful. On our first evening we asked for dining suggestions and she just said everything was booked. On our last morning, we went to her to arrange a taxi to the train station (10 minutes away by car). We were prepared to leave very early, but she convinced us there was no need and she would arrange a taxi to come close to our train time. The taxi never came and she was not very helpful remedying. We missed our train and had to wait 2.5 hours at the train station for the next train.

The breakfast buffet in front of the pool was incredible. Everyone on the staff was absolutely wonderful - helpful and accommodating beyond the usual standard. It was the best pet friendly place we have ever been to. We had our dog (a flat coated retriever) with us. Everyone loved her.

A beautiful comfortable hotel in great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This is the second time in the hotel. The first 8 years ago with children, this time just my Wife and I for our anniversary. The hotel is great for both couples and families, having the main building and also the outbuildings, which ae ideal for families. It has a lovely pool, but also a 2 minute walk to the beach clubs.

Maybe the only thing is that to find places to go out and have dinner you need a car.

the property is gorgeous, well maintained, and clean. we were given the suite with an attached room. we had our own backyard and plenty of space for a family of 5. most comfortable stay for our family on this trip for sure. the rooms are very spacious. the staff are very helpful and kind. Everyone always went out of their way to make our stay as wonderful as could be. Each one is absolutely amazing- great experience. thank you. the breakfast was amazing. the location for breakfast facing swimming pool was just great. The detail to maintenance was impressive. I wish we could stay another week.

there is nothing we didn’t like. we are very very sad to leave today. this was the best stay during our 2 week trip in Italy.
