We stayed at Hotel Versilia Lido for seven days and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the service and facilities were nothing short of five-star. We were lucky enough to receive a complimentary room upgrade to a studio, which was spacious, spotlessly clean, and came equipped with every amenity we could have hoped for. The rooftop bar and restaurant were a real highlight — serving fantastic drinks and delicious food, all while offering breathtaking views of the sunset. It was the perfect place to unwind in the evening. The poolside area was beautifully maintained, with just the right balance of sunbeds and shaded areas. We loved spending relaxed, lazy days by the pool. The wellness centre is also outstanding — well-equipped gym, lovely spa facilities including a sauna, steam room, and an indoor pool with hydrotherapy features that were all brilliantly maintained and very enjoyable. The location of the hotel is excellent — quiet but well-connected. Hiring bikes from the hotel made it incredibly easy to get to the local train station, giving us access to day trips to places like Cinque Terre, Pisa, Lucca, and other nearby towns via the coastal cycle path. This added a huge amount of value to our stay. The staff throughout the hotel were consistently welcoming, friendly, and helpful — from reception to the breakfast and restaurant teams. But we want to give a special mention to Sylvia, the pool bar attendant, who was an absolute standout. Not only did she serve excellent drinks, but she was also a wonderful ambassador for the hotel — full of local knowledge, tips on where to go and how to get there, and always warm, professional, and engaging. Her presence made our afternoons by the pool even more enjoyable. This hotel exceeded all our expectations. A perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and location — we would return in a heartbeat. Outstanding Experience! Our recent stay exceeded all expectations. The hotel’s staff was warm and attentive from the smooth check-in to the check-out. Our room was not only spotless but also elegant and cozy, complete with modern amenities and a breathtaking view. The culinary offerings, especially the breakfast spread, were delightful and diverse. The location was perfect—close to attractions yet peaceful enough for relaxation. In short, this hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and impeccable service. Highly recommended!

Room 327 had a air-conditioning that was so loud that we couldn't sleep till we switched it of and opened the window for fresh air. Then we switched to room 225 where the sliding door handle fell away and in the bathroom the air exchange cover felt on the head during showering. It seems as the hotel is in need of some serious maintenance! As it was our last 2 nights in Italy, we expected something marvelous but left disappointed.

A stunning property which is exceptionally well maintained. Our room - Superior Double Ensuite - was very spacious, immaculate and had absolutely everything we needed. The hotel itself is beautiful and exactly as describled by words and photos on the Booking.com website. Breakfast was included and there was a wonderful variety of fresh produce every day - the smoothie was the best we have ever had with a hotel breakfast. Check-in and out was a very simple process and the reception staff were very friendly and efficient. The pool is stunning and in a wonderful environment and the indoor pool although small was perfect for an October stay - too cold to be outdoor poolside! The foyer was impressive and looked like a wonderful place to sit and absorb the atmosphere. The Roof Bar was incredible, stunning views and definitely the place to watch the sun set. Their Mojito was the best I have had in a long time.

From the pictures, we thought the hotel was practically on the beach and although only a 5/10 walk to the beach, this was definitely not the case. To access the beach, you have to walk through one of very many other restaurants as direct access seem few and far between and we were there in the quiet season. Maybe access is more obvious in mid-summer. Unsure whether the hotel had its own space on the beach, if not, one would have to use and pay for space provided by another entity

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had an excellent range of choice. The inside pool was nice and warm. The masseuse was very nice and her deep tissue massages are intense! The bar/restaurant staff were super accommodating. Free electric car chargers were a big bonus!

We were disappointed that the hotel was not connected to the beach as it is implied in the advert photos. The beach is separated by a busy road and the facilities on the beach are charged by the restaurants which line the seafront. We also found that the hotel was quite noisy with children. Parents using the spa facilities with no supervision over their children (not really the hotels fault).

A real sophisticated friendly atmosphere the minute you walk into the hotel. We enjoyed the interesting Art which spreads through the reception into the lounge and all around the hotel. Our suite was amazing, spacious, bright and airy. A Huge balcony to sit and read a book or enjoy a glass of wine whilst the perfume of the jasmine from the beautiful garden permeates through the air. (we were lucky enough to be upgraded so was extremely happy.) The roof top bar and restaurant is wonderful, a beautiful view of the sea amazing sunset. staff were very attentive and the couple that were singing and playing guitar were fabulous. Can’t wait to return in September.

we really liked how the stuff treated us, all the things included in the price (like the spa). We stayed here just for 1 night and we didn’t spent lots of money. Everything was clean and the room was really wide, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was great, we’ve eaten just one meal, tordellonj al ragú di manzo, but it was really satisfying, especially for the appetizer they offered to us. The room service was excellent, it didn’t cost much. Everything was great, we’re satisfied and surely we’ll come back.

From what I have seen, definitely one of the better locations in Lido di Camaiore. Great Location, just separated from a main street to the beach. Nice rooftop bar and restaurant. Good housekeeping, rooms were very clean. Good opportunities for children with an indoor and outdoor play area. Well equipped rooms for families.

The hotel definitely needs some renovation on the outside as well as on the inside premises. We had a consistent bad smell in our room that came from the air conditioning. That should be checked. But by far the worst part -and this is not an exaggeration - was the condition of the wellness area. Especially, sauna and steam bath should be closed down and immediately reworked and renovated. This has for the most part lead to the negative impression and the deduction of the evaluation.

Everything was excellent, especially the facilities for toddlers (our son was 14 months but had plenty toys to play). Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. It is a great hotel with small children. Also the New Year event was excellent with kids, as there was a lot of room for kids to play and they were not forced to sit at the table. The restaurant had excellent food and we enjoyed the breakfast too. The room was spacious and very clean and perfectly fit for a toddler, there were no dangerous items/furniture. Also the pool was wonderful, perfect temperature of the water for a toddler, and very relaxing. We liked that we had to do a reservation and it was never overcrowded. The massages I had were excellent. I liked the bathrobe in the room and the direct elevator to the pool. Also very clean sauna and steam bath. We will definitely recommend your hotel to other families or couples.

It is not your fault but the beach was not accessible with a stroller.

I could not find any fault with the property. The room was lovely, breakfast was excellent, the facilities including the pool, tennis court, panel court and bicycle s were very good.

I do not have anything I didn’t like about the property. My only complaint would be the meal provided with the Euros Football “Pub” evening. The food was very poor and over priced. Serving potato chips (crisps) rather than French Fries (chips) with Steak was an insult to the customer.
