The property is quite extensive and exhibits all the charms of a bygone age albeit maintained to a 21st century standard. It is on the edge of the village and parking was around the back in a grassy area across the road. There are several apartments in a converted outbuilding and ours was on the ground floor - a spacious main room with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable seating area, a good-sized bedroom and bathroom. Outside was a covered area with table and chairs looking out onto the patio garden. Our hostess was welcoming and interesting as she indulged our curiosity about the fascinating history of the villa. A 10 minute walk from the villa brings you to a couple of simple bars in the village popular with the locals.

This was my first stop in Tuscany, sorta random. WOWOW. I was impressed with the tour the host provided of the facility and my room. She also gave me directions to a restaurant in the city plus suggested a hillside drive for photos the following morning which turned out to be spectacular. This is a one of a kind property with a family history which is worth the visit. I also want to say thanks to the host for all her assistance and information... she made my stay very enjoyable. A sorry I had to leave so early in the morning!!!! On the river, short walk to the city. Just great.

Perfect!!!!!

A very nice property with Apartments in traditional beautiful Tuscany style. A lot of nice opportunities to sit outside and have breakfast or Dinner outside as well. The apartment was cleaned every day - very nice and convenient! It was cool inside without Aircon while we had outside 36 deg C - very healthy climate control by the Building structure! The Wifi-System (for me very important) worked perfect all over the property! A beautiful Garden and a big enough pool made the stay perfect for us (Family of 3) Cinzia the host helped us with recommendations and fantastic Bio Olive Oil. Overall the owners cared for a friendly and healthy sustainable style. The location was perfect to reach the important cities and villages within 1 h driving (Siena, Florence,...).

I liked the beautiful, historic building and surroundings. I was impressed by the fact that Roberto Assagioli lived in the building. Very impressive! The owners are very friendly and approachable. They put a lot of effort and energy into the management of the place. The apartment was cleaned on daily basis. We absolutely loved the pool ! :)

I was disappointed by the fact that in our apartment, especially in the living room, there was almost no daylight. We had to keep the lights on during the day. I understand the architectural limitations of the historic building, but I must admit for me it was a big discomfort, because daylight is very important for my well-being. Kitchen supplies - there could be more of them for the comfort of guests.

Our stay at Villa La Nussa was amazing! The apartment we booked was spacious and cozy. We were able to arrange a later check in due to traffic and when we arrived our host had turned on the heating in the apartment which was very kind. They have a parking area for guests across the street so it was accessible and we could tell that there was a lot of love in maintaining the traditional charm of the facilities.

Amazing villa with the great host. Very authentic and vintage place. Clean room. There are some services available, as for example breakfast at the property.

There are not many places close to the villa, but the villa provides some own services.

Great place! Everything looked great and the lady was super nice with great service attitude, free parking space and a beautiful garden. The place is spacious and nice, highly recommended!

Perfect spot for Tuscany. Good location for trips. And perfect comfort there. There is nice swimming pool for very hot days during holidays. Perfect communciation with host. Thank you. A lot of parking place for more than 1 car.

Nicest hosts I have ever stayed with! We misunderstood about the pool not being open due to it being out of season, but they were very nice about it. They tried to get the pool up and running during our stay and invited us to dine with them that evening. in the morning Cinzia and a lovely local man Mario took us on a tour of the surrounding area showing us many beauty spots. All free of charge! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

We passed by on a hiking trip and enjoyed the wonderful place. Many thanks again for the warm reception- we enjoyed the wine, the cheese and sharing thoughts very much. The villa is truly a villa.
