Villa Spino is an amazing place, in an accessible place in the mountains, near Arezzo, above Capolona. The owner of the house is an amazing woman, a great hostess, The breakfast in the house is varied and delicious. The cherry on the cake is the amazing garden with beautiful plants and flowers, as well as the kind and playful dog Gioto. Words are not enough to describe this experience. It was hard to leave, but I would definitely return to Villa Spino.

The place is just like a house of your friend. Rossana is very kind and trying to make you comfortable and happy. She asked us what do we like to eat for breakfast. A very silent and peaceful place. However, you need a car to visit Villaspino. It is from 5 minutes drive to the nearest village Capolona. In Capolona there is a very good restaurant for price/performance and variety of food. Our children spent very happy 3 days with lovely Giotto.

The facility meet all our expectations.

One of the best travel experiences in our lives. The villa and its location are magnificent. Not to mention marvellous garden and a great view of a Tuscan landscape. But the true advantage of the place is its owner. Rossana The Great :) To start with her tasty breakfasts with delicious homemade treats and finger-licking cakes (every day – different cake). Then come useful sightseeing advices which were invaluable even to us, seasoned travellers who had been countless times to Italy. No to mention that the villa and the guest rooms were pristine with garden flowers upon arrival. PS. We came as guests but we left as friends. Thank you for having us, Rossana. It was a great pleasure! Best regards to Giotto, as well!

Staying at Rossana's place was an absolute delight—cozy, quiet, clean, and comfortable. Rossana's exceptional hospitality, combined with fantastic homemade breakfasts and the company of a friendly dog, made us feel truly at home. The stunning terrace view was a bonus. Rossana's warmth made our stay memorable, and we eagerly look forward to our next visit.

Our host Rosanna was the worlds best Nonna! She will make your family feel like her family and will keep you fed with delicious homemade Italian food and beautiful wine from her own grapes. Incredible views of the local towns and the photos don’t do her property and garden justice. Highly recommend.

Make sure you follow Rosanna’s directions to the property as Google maps makes it a little challenging.

Firstly, the setting is simply divine, a very well kept and elegant garden, like that of Eden, greets you upon crossing the threshold. Rossanna is a very welcoming and gracious host, with that easy and most comfortable familial feel one expects from a lovely Italian mamma!

That we did not stay longer! But, fallen as we are, our time in Eden had to come to an end.

Everything was wonderful. Rossana the owner is a perfect host, she looks after us all the time and spoiled us with good food and wine. The location is wonderful and we can visit some beautiful places on a day tour, Rossana gives us some wonderful tips. Not the last, Giotto his dog is very playful and is a character too.

Just a suggestion will be great to have in the apartment a small cooler for drinks (we use the main one in the kitchen).

Rosanna is the best host you can imagine. We stayed for 5 days and would have stayed much longer if possible. Rosanna took great care of us everyday and prepared amazing breakfast and dinner, there was also free icecream and Limoncello! :-) We immediately felt like family! The house is situated in the hills above Arezzo, the views are amazing, you are in the middle of nature and it is very quiet. We had one half of the house for ourselves the whole time including a huge terrace and amazing views. I can highly recommend Villaspino and look forward to coming back soon! Excellent! Calm and quiet on the hillside. Lady Rossana is the best host. Always fresh and abundant breakfast. Giotto the dog is so good and cuddly. All recommendations!

It was our second time in Villaspino and again it was like coming home for holidays. The unbeatable hospitality of Ms. Rossana, her cooking, the house and surroundings, her dog Giotto… it is an amazing place in Tuscany and I highly highly recommend it.
