Everything was wonderful!! The room was excellent, exactly as shown in photos. Very clean, fresh. The shower great, lots of hot water. Lots of towels and bathroom supplies. Bed was perfect, comfortable and pillows great. Small bar fridge great for drinks. Wifi good. Closet with plenty of hangers. Small flat screen tv, a bigger tv would be nice but definitely not a negative point. Staff is awesome! Giusèppe is great, helpful with suggestions for places to see, restaurants to go too. Very easy check in! Breakfast was unbelievable!! The best selection ever! Coffees, juices, teas, fresh buns, sandwiches, croissants, cereal, fruit, etc etc etc. A true highlight of our stay! And the young lady looking after breakfast is a true gem, just wonderful!

Excellent location, right in the historic center and just steps away from many terraces, restaurants, and charming shops. We have always found a parking spot in front of the house. The rooms are very clean and equipped with everything you need, featuring a modern bathroom and a small balcony overlooking a little square and an impressive 16th-century church. Breakfast served on the terrace with a sea view is a big plus. Giuseppe is discreet and very kind, always ready to help. We loved everything, and Castellamare del Golfo is truly a gem and an excellent base for exploring the area. Thank you so much, Giuseppe!

Right in the centre of the old town of Castlemmare del Golfo. Close to many restaurants and the waterfront. Comfortable bed . Very clean . Very helpful host. Had a good Italian breakfast included in the price.

There was no kitchen facilities or ability to make coffee or tea. No cutlery.

The location was fantastic, right in a small town square. We found free parking on the street outside the accommodation. The bed was the most comfortable I experienced on my whole trip. Plenty of eating and drinking options very close by. Host Giuseppe was super friendly. The shower was also the best I experienced on my trip through sicily. Nothing to dislike about this property. 10 out of 10... just book it!!

There was nothing to dislike, everything was perfect.

Super location in a really pretty little square with olive trees. Very quiet. Room was spacious with a balcony and chair. Shutters kept the room dark at night. Owner was helpful with all our questions! Parking was easy with an App - we could extend our parking time from our room instead of buying tickets from a machine on the street.

Room safe was broken

My girlfriend and I loved to stay at the "Ai Gradini Affittacamere" for 5 days in July. The location is great, right in the centre of the small village of Castellammare del Golfo, 5 minutes walk from the beach and 5 mins from the harbour. The room was spacious and recently renowed and equipped with air conditioning, a mini fridge, a hairdryer, and a small safe. The breakfast is served on the roof terrace with an incredible view on the seaside. But the thing we liked most was the friendliness of the owner Giuseppe and the staff. We definitely recommend a stay at Ai Gradini Affittacamere.

A perfect 5 day stay so much to see in this location. Live music at night and so many restaurants in the marina and Main Street. Breakfast every morning was varied and plenty. Car space outside property with a friendly local (even moved his car for us)

Giuseppe is an incredible host, caring and funny, it was a real pleasure to meet him! The location is right in the heart of town, with the beautiful church just next door, the streets with lots of restaurants just 2 minutes walking distance and to go down to the port/marina area there are some stairs so in 5 minutes tops you're there. The rooms are very clean and spacious, with everything you need, even a hair dryer and diffuser! I was impressed. The bathroom is excellent, too. The thing that made this stay exceptional was the breakfast, though: an incredible spread of cakes, pastries, buns, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals, granola, juices, coffee/cappuccino/tea made on the spot, and a good variety, including local delicacies such as 'pane e panelle', 'cannoli', and more. We didn't expect it to be so good, honestly. Plus the view, which is gorgeous! Also, totally recommended to go to Castellammare and use it as a base to visit the nearby area. Don't miss out on Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro, Guidaloca (the most beautiful beach in my opinion), Erice, and Macari. The area is really beautiful and the water is so beautiful everywhere.

The only thing that was a little annoying was the church bell ringing very often in the morning, not ideal when one wants to sleep in. That comes with the location, obviously, and not at all the fault of the property. You get used to it after a couple of days. Also, being a family-led business, breakfast is only served between 8.00 and 9.00, which is a little short but considering the quality, it was worth waking up for.

Extremely clean room with a balcony and a marvelous view from breakfast area to piazza. Breakfast included different fruits and coffees, also sandwiches, yoghurts and sweets. The piazza and church in front of the building are very pretty. We sat in the piazza watching the life of people living there. Everything in Castellammare del Golfo are near and it was wonderful to walk around in the evenings.
