Not much more needs to be said about the many positive features of the hotel, as these are sufficiently described in the other comments here. I will therefore limit myself to the things that we found particularly pleasant: The location is such that both the city centre and the wide beaches in the opposite direction can be reached on foot in a reasonable amount of time. However, rooms facing the road have to put up with some traffic noise. The roof terrace offers a wonderful view of the gulf. Another highlight is definitely the whirlpool in the garden, which invites you to relax with a drink from the room fridge. We would also like to emphasise the staff, who were always friendly, courteous and helpful at all levels of service. All in all, we found the price-performance ratio to be excellent.

This place is a gem. Brand new modern building. Stunning ocean views. Our room had a kitchen and it was fully equipped. Excellent staff on site. Antonio and his group are just amazing and kind. Perfect location as all the restaurants are within walking distance and so is the beach. We used it as a base to visit western Sicily and it was extremely easy to hop onto E90. Antonio also had alot of advice on what to see, eat, etc. I really cant think of a better place to stay. This is mostly for my fellow americans: 1) use WhatsApp. Its really the best way to communicate with Antonio. 2) If you have a large SUV and not used to parking in europe, the underground parking will be hard for you. We had a small suv and used to type of parking, so it was no problem. So if you have a large vehicle, there is free (4-5 spots) parking behind the hotel and there is paid parking (use easypark app) close by.

The apartment is in a great location, only 5-10 minutes walk from the city center and many restaurants. There's a beach that is closer that is less recommended as it's right next to the harbor. We chose to visit the one in the other direction, Spiaggia Plaja, which was around a 15 minute walk and this had crystal clear waters and many facilities. The staff was very kind and helpful. We loved the roof terrace, you get a beautiful view of the sea and the gulf. The room was spacious and clean. We were very happy to find a welcome bottle of white wine in the fridge when we arrived.

As the apartment is located in a junction, it's quite noisy all the time. The bed was too soft for our taste, but this is a question of what you are used to.

The property was pristine and the family very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The hot tub was a welcome feature.

We loved everything

Every single thing about this hotel is fantastic! Super hotel, brand new. Spectacular sea view and a beautiful private garden. Perfect location, 10 min walk to the Port and the Castle, and at the same time 10 min to the nearest beach. A great breakfast was organised in a typical Sicilian restaurant just next door. Absolutely clean The staff is attentive, warm and informative

The staff was nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and nice. The breakfast was excellent.

The mattresses were softer than I'm used to, but otherwise it was fine. I would have liked some classic glass water glasses in the room.

Hospitality of Ewa and Sofia was just amazing, allowed us to check in earlier, helped with parking, showed us all nearby locations for visiting, provided the map, gave coupons for local restaurants, hats off the best tenants during our trip around Sicily. Location is perfect, close to the beach and to a historical center of Castellammare. Facility is freshly built, rooms are new were nicely cleaned. Breakfast in nearby café was amazing!

For someone who is noise sensitive in their sleep, it is advised to have earplugs with you. Not just for this apartment, it was pretty noisy all around Sicily.

An easy walk to the town and sea front with a lovely sea view from the lounge and balcony. The apartment was very clean, modern and well equipped. The owners obviously take great pride in the property. The staff were always available and were very friendly and helpful. Parking on the premises was safe and secure. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Great location near old town. Good facilities and private parking was available. All the staff at Sol y Mar were friendly efficient and welcoming.

Building is on a busy corner but the fantastic windows kept all the noise out so no issue.
