Both the hotel and location were excellent. The absolute icing on the cake, better even than the food and wine (which was uniformly of a very high standard), was the team at the hotel. Such wonderful and knowledgeable hosts, making the stay feel more like a visit to friends. We loved every minute of our time at the Locanda, and would recommend it highly to anyone thinking of a base to explore the area

A longer stay !

Excellent location in the heart of this little beautiful village. Super comfortable room, large bathroom, generally it was excellently designed, making our stay easy and relaxed, also very clean and super friendly personnel! The restaurant is a must!

The windows may need to have nest installed for the mosquitos. The living room may needed a bit of more furniture in order to create a more cosy, "homy" atmosphere. But those are really minor things, just in case the owner would like to further upgrade the place.

I feel this is a beautiful example of what people can achieve when they truly love what they do - hospitality in this case. Great attention to details touching on luxury but far from pretentious. We felt welcome & at home instantly. Exquisite dinner experience (would possibly still be great even with wine & bread only!). The town is a medieval gem, the region & landscapes are memorable.

Maybe the room itself felt a bit less “loved” than the restaurant but considering the restaurant was amazing that’s just by comparison. We would definitely come back. More than once.

The staff at Locanda del Feudo and especially Andrea, the manager, were fantastic! The location in the historic centre was perfect with access to car parking & excellent restaurants/ bars

Andrea and his staff are really the stars of this quaint beautiful hotel. Even thought it only has 6 rooms it oozes charm, warmth, amazing service and fabulous food and a lovely buffet breakfast is included. A trip to the local cheese factory was suggested and arranged. Wonderful! We also had an impromptu tour of some of the area with a stop atop one of the local hills for a spectacular view of the region. Locals are very friendly and there is a balsamic vinegar producer in the piazza by the clock tower. The bells of the church tower play a tune at 630pm every evening. Magical. This was our second stay here and we are planning our next trip. So worth it if you want off the beaten path and a uniquely tuscan experience.

Everything was like we expected. The room was clean, with plenty of utilities, and had that rustic Italian allure. The beds were comfy and spacious. The service was immaculate, and the breakfast was versatile and rich. The communication with the owner was delightful. He helped us with everything we needed. I highly recommend this hotel, especially to couples, because of the romantic vibe of it and the town of Castelvetro di Modena, but also to all the people touring Italy with a car since they can easily visit all the landmarks of the Emilia Romagna region from there. Special thanks to the charming young lady who served us breakfast and coffee and greeted us with a beautiful smile every morning!

This B&B was one of my favorites during our travels through Italy, and the best value by far. It’s in a tiny but charming town with two exceptional restaurants, one being run by the B&B, and a great place in the square for cocktails. Staff is lovely. We explored nearby balsamic vinegar and parmesan makers, toured the Lamborghini factory, and visited Bologna and Modena. We loved that this B and B was outside the regular tourist destinations.

Perfect location for our needs. Like being at home! Italian hospitality at its best. Thank you very much and we will definitely stay with you again if and when we have to return to Castelvetro!

Great spacious room with a great size Livingroom too. Great breakfast the fruit was incredibly tasty! The location is incredible right in the heart of the old town

The key system to access to the rooms is a bit outdated

The Suite, was cool and very comfortable. It is a quiet location and we slept well! The restaurant and food at dinner and breakfast were superb. We had the menu with wine paring, the team were passionate and knowledgeable.
